Chapter 547 The Birth of the Primordial Angel

Staring intently at the sphere of light slowly rotating in the air, Todd asked, "Is this what you call a psionic being?"

"The seated ruler of Heaven, the fearless defender of order, the direct communion with the divine, the ruler of all angels..." Leviathan nodded and said, "The most primordial angel—Shields."

The sphere of light suddenly shattered, scattering fragments like glittering stars throughout the entire hall.

A humanoid creature, more dazzling than the sun, emerged from the sphere, its arms crossed in front of its chest, and six fiery wings on its back slowly unfurled, moving without wind.

Looking at the astonishing humanoid creature before him, Todd widened his eyes and whispered, "A Primordial Angel?"

Scáthach explained, “The primordial angel Shields is the first angel we created in Heaven, and he will be the highest-ranking administrator of Heaven in the future. After him, we plan to create Seraphim, Thrones, Cherubim, and other high-ranking angels, as well as other mid- and low-ranking angels, so that they can jointly be responsible for the daily operation of Heaven and related affairs.”

Leviathan continued, “In fact, back in Genesis, we forerunners discussed the existence of life. We hypothesized that there was a kind of creature, unlike other living beings, that had no flesh and blood, no bones, no fixed form, and was entirely formed by the power of the soul, that is, a creature constructed from what is commonly known as dark matter.”

"They have no distinction between male and female, only between different levels of Saint rank. Unlike humans, they cannot marry, and they never die. They can freely change their form and use soul power. Their purpose in existence is to complete the tasks assigned by Crystal and the Forerunners."

Scáthach turned to Todd and continued, “However, Crystal Star seeks biodiversity and natural selection. Psionic beings, which break through the power framework, will pose an incalculable threat to other creatures, which is something he does not want to see. Therefore, the creation of psionic beings has always been shelved and has not been carried out.”

Leviathan's enormous eye, visible beneath the sea, looked at the primordial angel Shields and said with emotion, "Todd, ever since you proposed the Heavenly Kingdom plan, Scáthach and I have been pondering what kind of beings should be entrusted with Heaven. After much thought, we've decided to activate the previously abandoned psionic creature plan, which is the angel you see now."

Todd stroked his chin, staring at the sleeping primordial angel as he pondered, then suddenly asked, "If Crystal Nest had rejected the biological plan for psychic beings back then, wouldn't you be violating the Creator's command by creating them now?"

Leviathan and Scáthach were silent for a moment, then the latter said to Todd, "Actually, we had a negotiation with Crystal before we officially started building the Kingdom."

"Negotiation?"

"We presented the Heavenly Kingdom proposal to Crystal Nest and suggested using this system to restrain wars between races in order to avoid a vicious cycle of extinction."

Todd looked at Scáthach's face and asked with some doubt, "And the result? Crystal Nest agreed to your plan?"

Leviathan replied, "Crystal didn't answer us immediately; instead, it asked us who proposed the plan."

Scáthach said softly, "We have spoken your name."

Leviathan said in a deep voice, "After hearing your name, Crystal Constellation pondered for a moment and agreed to Heaven's plan..."

Todd looked astonished.

Scáthach said, “However, Crystal has set some restrictions. First, psionic beings can only exist in Heaven and must not interfere in the affairs of the world, especially not in the War of the Chosen. Second, Leviathan and I can only assist in the construction of Heaven and must not actively interfere in the affairs of Heaven. Third, Todd, you cannot use the power of Heaven for your own purposes.”
