Todd and Rachel decided to use the "Incarnation" method to establish a nation indirectly, but the primary issue was which belief system to adopt.
If they still used the Christian rhetoric, it probably wouldn't be very convincing to these barbarians and gladiators from the North; after discussing it with Rachel, Todd finally decided to adopt the belief culture of the gods of the North Island.
He made this decision after careful consideration.
The inhabitants of the North are mainly composed of three groups.
The first group consists of the people of the North Island. They firmly believe in the legends of the North Island gods and are naturally able to fully accept the culture of these gods. The second group consists of the southern barbarians. They worship the three ancient gods of the past, but they do not reject the beliefs of the North Island gods. However, in terms of doctrine, they regard Odin, Freya, and other gods as continuations of the bloodline of the ancient gods. The last group is a bit more troublesome. They come from northern kingdoms such as Ulster or Connaught and have been exposed to Christianity for a longer period of time. Some of them have even converted to the Father. This group has the lowest level of acceptance of the beliefs of the gods.
Therefore, after some analysis, if one wants to win people's hearts and establish a kingdom in the Northern Region by using the "descent of the Holy Spirit" tactic, after weighing the pros and cons and comparing the situation, using the culture of the gods to gain believers is undoubtedly the most convenient and safest option.
After establishing his belief system, Todd followed Deirdre and Rachel to cram in knowledge about Northern mythology, and even spent a lot of time memorizing a large amount of runes (the script of the gods' culture).
With everything prepared, Todd's soul space began an unprecedented "major transformation".
The entire soul world was originally divided into two layers: the research institute on the ground and the temple underground. The former was about the size of a village, while the latter, if not counting its depth, was only a few hundred square meters in size.
After some renovations, the above-ground portion remained largely unchanged, but the underground portion underwent extensive widening and repairs.
The originally cramped temple was expanded into a magnificent golden castle, which Todd named "Gladsheim". He also created a flowing river (Ifing) around the Golden Palace, with thick fog on its surface, causing the fog to swirl and flicker with flames and lightning.
After completing a series of projects in the world of gods, Todd and Rachel floated in mid-air, marveling at the magnificent scene below.
“I really envy you for having such an ability…” Rachel looked at the breathtaking golden castle in the mist and said quietly, “I never thought that I could create a world like building blocks.”
Todd looked down at his hands: "It wasn't as smooth as you see it. At first, I could only control a room-sized space. Then I was able to build a fully equipped research institute. Later, I was able to create such a vast and complex world."
"Furthermore, with the increasing number of people linked to my soul, and the inhalation of the Tyrant Virus, I feel my body growing stronger with each connection. I am now able to create increasingly larger spaces within the soul world, and accommodate more people who can stay there for longer periods."
A hint of worry flashed in Rachel's eyes: "Todd, I'm a little worried."
"Worry?"
"The lust for power and strength is like a slow-acting poison, causing many upright people to gradually lose their integrity over time."
Todd waved his hand with a laugh: "That depends on the person. For me, that assumption doesn't hold true."
“I hope so.” Rachel changed the subject: “Next, we need to determine one thing: what role do you intend to play in this world?”
Todd was taken aback at first, but he quickly understood the meaning behind Rachel's words and frowned, saying, "That is indeed a problem."
“What about Odin, the king of the gods?” Rachel offered a suggestion: “We can. After Ragnarok, Odin’s soul is immortal and can return to the world.”
Todd shook his head: "Ragnarok has already happened, and those figures from the mythological era have all disappeared into the long river of history. I do not intend to borrow their names."
"So, in what capacity do you plan to meet with the believers?"
Todd activated his form, transforming into a pitch-black monster in the form of a tyrant: "Descendant of the apocalypse, ruler of heroic spirits, survivor of the gods who rebuilt Asgard."
——————————————
Three days later, in the tribal hall of Froststone Camp.
Todd sat upright in the main seat, with Rachel standing to his right and Alfonso to his left.
Todd looked at the tribal chiefs sitting on the floor in the room and asked, "Is everyone here?"
Standing to the side, Ackerman quickly said, "Boss, all twenty-two tribal chiefs have arrived."
"very good."
Todd nodded and said, "I have gathered you all here today to tell you something."
Seeing the puzzled looks on the tribal leaders' faces, Todd stood up, his body gradually growing larger, and without warning, he entered Tyrant form.
Its enormous size and terrifying appearance startled all the leaders present, and amidst screams, some even fainted.
Todd curled up, trying his best not to smash his head through the ceiling of the hall, and said in a deep voice unique to his monster form: "As survivors of Ragnarok, please come forward one by one. I will take you to the Sanctuary."
Not a single tribal chief responded to the demand; everyone retreated in fear, searching for an exit.
