Suddenly, a rider carrying a battle report galloped through the bustling streets toward the central government headquarters of the Papacy.
"The allied forces have suffered a crushing defeat! The allied forces have suffered a crushing defeat! Only nine members of the Papacy's army survived!"
Accompanied by this piercing shout, snowflakes fell from the sky, and the first snow of early winter quietly flew into every corner of the city.

Seven days later, in Muxi City, at the Department of Alien Affairs.
Rachel flipped through the sample book of the alien population bank, comparing it with the alien population register while carefully noting down a series of numbers.
There was a knock on the door of the room.
Rachel put down her pen, rubbed her sore eyes, and said, "Come in."
A young woman dressed in tight leather armor pushed open the door and slowly walked in, looking at Rachel as if she wanted to say something but hesitated.
The latter looked up, a slight smile appearing on her tired face: "Karin."
Karin Forman lowered her head and looked at the ground.
Rachel began, "Kalin, regarding the matter of Holy Guard City, you led the association to find the tunnel and captured the inside man. Well done... What kind of reward do you want?"
“Sister Rachel…” Karin said, “News has come from the capital of Tero that Mr. Tristan… was burned at the stake a week ago.”
Rachel's eyes widened for a moment, but she quickly regained her composure and said softly, "Is that so?"
Karin glanced carefully at the other person's expression and said softly, "We've tried our best, but they're unwilling to leave."
Rachel pushed back her chair, stood up straight, and said with a smile, "I know this isn't your fault."
Seeing Rachel push open the door, Karin asked, "Sister Rachel, where are you going?"
"I owe someone a favor, and now I have to repay it."
After saying that, Rachel left the room.
After informing the guards of his request, Rachel arrived at the door of the King's audience chamber and gently knocked.
After receiving permission, she went into the room and said to Todd, who was sitting at the table, "I need your help with something."
Todd looked at the woman with a puzzled expression and asked, "Help?"
"I hope you can help open the soul space and find Deirdre."
Looking at Rachel's serious expression, Todd only thought for a few seconds before agreeing to her request.
Upon arriving at the research institute in the Soul Space, Rachel said to Deirdre, who had just entered, "My sister, I need your help."
Deirdre first gave Todd a strange look, and seeing that he also looked puzzled, she said to Rachel, "What do I need to do?"
Rachel retrieved Tristan's image from her memory and said to Deirdre, "This man's name is Tristan Ing. Bradford. He was burned at the stake a week ago..."
"Tristan is dead?"
Hearing Rachel's words, Todd frowned and asked urgently.
The former looked at the latter and nodded solemnly.
Todd sighed deeply, sat down in his office chair, lowered his head, and waved to Rachel to ignore him.
Rachel then said to Deirdre, "I want you to use your 'medium' abilities to bring Tristan's soul here."
As Deirdre began to summon Tristan's soul as instructed, Todd looked up at Rachel and asked, "What do you want to do?"
The latter looked at the pale blue particles in the air and said sadly, "There are some things I didn't tell Tristan, and it was my fault that he spent his life in confusion and distress."
Just as Todd was about to ask another question, Tristan's pale blue soul appeared in the room.
Rachel looked at the slightly tired Deirdre and asked worriedly, "If I want to summon another soul, can your current body handle it?"
Taking a deep breath, Deirdre nodded firmly.
Rachel glanced at Tristan's soul and said to Deirdre, "The second soul summoned is named Mia Evandlin."
Deirdre said to Rachel, "A name alone is not enough; I must know what she looks like."
Rachel held out her hand, pointing to herself: "Mia Evandrin, in appearance and physical characteristics, she is exactly like me."
