Chapter 356: All Appear

Mathilde let out a soft groan of enjoyment, as if she hadn't heard the other person's question at all.

Dion stomped hard on Mathilde's instep again, saying angrily, "Sorry, Your Highness, I've made another mistake!"

Mathilde pursed her lips and said softly, "Isn't what you want the list of nobles who support my brother? I can give it to you anytime."

As the music ended, Dion took a step back, leaving Mathilde's embrace, and bowed slightly to the latter, who was still reluctant to leave, before returning to his seat in the delegation.

Standing at a distance, Todd looked in the direction of the Twilight City delegation. Dion sat down next to Mary, who was dressed in a gorgeous gown. The former was charming and the latter was beautiful and captivating. The two beauties, with completely different temperaments, outshone everyone else and immediately became the focus of the entire ball.

Tristan tugged at Lattord's sleeve: "If you're thinking of going to see the delegation now, that's definitely not a good idea. There's someone you should see first."

Led by Tristan, Todd arrived at the church's seating area and stood before a middle-aged man with a falcon-like appearance. The man's priestly robes immediately made him realize the man's identity.

"Lord Jacob, may the light of the Lord illuminate our path forward."

Jacob stared at the face before him, utterly astonished: "Felice Child, what are you doing here?!"

Recalling the fragments of Félixalde's memory, Todd put on the former's signature smile and said vaguely, "There are some tricky matters; His Holiness the Pope asked me to handle them as soon as possible..."

Jacob paused for a moment, then nodded slightly and said, "Everything is for the Pope's benefit."

A moment later, he looked at Tristan with disgust, then said to Todd, "You can use my men as you please."

Todd nodded his thanks and left the group.

He first went to a dark corner and looked at Dion and Marie, who were surrounded by people at the banquet, knowing that this was not a good time to go up and talk to them.

Just as he was about to leave, he caught a glimpse of a young man out of the corner of his eye—a man who had appeared repeatedly in Felicidade's memory.

The young man was tall and had a resolute expression. He had a well-groomed beard and always wore a warm smile when he looked at people.

This must be His Highness Sinclair; there's no mistake.

Sinclair quickly noticed the look Todd cast at him.

Their eyes met in mid-air.

A flicker of surprise crossed Sinclair's eyes, but he quickly looked away, pretending nothing had happened.

He chatted and laughed with the nobleman beside him while touching the back of his right ear.

Todd recalled the memories he had gleaned from Fritzald and immediately understood that the other party wanted him to meet in secret at their usual spot.

Turning away from the banquet hall, Todd, relying on the vague memories he had gained during the soul invasion, stepped into the bush path outside the hall and arrived behind a lion statue.

After waiting for about ten minutes, a deep voice rang out from the side.

"You're back earlier than expected."

Todd looked at the black figure beside the stone statue and said softly, "Something happened in Gugu Port."

"Something happened?"

Todd lowered his voice: "The southern barbarians rebelled, the ancient city of Gugu was captured, and tens of thousands of slaves were freed..."

The dark figure emerged from behind the stone statue, its voice sounding somewhat anxious: "My share of the money..."

His Highness Sinclair's face appeared before Todd, prompting the latter to shake his head helplessly.

"Don't worry, all the goods have been sold." Todd took out a silver moon from his pocket and tossed it up and down like Felice Child: "I hid the money in a safe place, but the ship was stolen by the barbarians."

Sinclair's eyes sharpened: "Gugu City has fallen, and the ships are gone. What are we going to do about our next business?"
