Chapter 282 Lu Qing and Gu Xicheng fall into the sea

At this moment, everyone noticed the enormous creature that had suddenly appeared.

The cruise ship stopped next to the ghost ship, and suddenly a group of people wearing raincoats ran out of the cabin, carrying ladders that extended onto the ghost ship's deck.

Lu Qing frowned: "Are they going to board a ghost ship?"

Gu Xicheng: "Perhaps Dars's original purpose was the ghost ship."

"Shall we go out and take a look?"

"Um!"

Lu Qing and Gu Xicheng hit it off immediately, and the two put on raincoats and went up to the deck.

The storm blew large raindrops that pelted our faces, making it impossible to open our eyes.

When Lu Qing and Gu Xicheng arrived on the deck, they saw Dars and his female assistant at the entrance to the cabin.

"Mr. Gu, Ms. Lu!" Dars called out to the two.

Lu Qing and Gu Xicheng exchanged a glance, then walked towards him.

"Dals, what's the deal with that ship? What exactly are you trying to do?" Lu Qing asked coldly.

Darss smiled slightly:

"Since Miss Lu is skilled in fortune telling, why don't you tell me if I can get what I want?"

After hesitating for a moment, Lu Qing frowned and performed a divination, then suddenly his eyes narrowed:

"This divination is extremely inauspicious!"

The smile on Dars's face vanished instantly.

The next second, roars and screams came from the ghost ship.

"Help! Help!!!"

"Help! Help me!"

The bodyguards on the ghost ship waved their hands and called for help on the deck. Some were about to climb back up the ladder when the ghost ship suddenly turned and moved away from the cruise ship.

The ladder quickly slid down and fell into the sea.

Dars's expression changed drastically, and he quickly said:

"Quick! Go save them!"

Another group of bodyguards rushed out, each carrying a heavy machine gun and even bombs.

They used grappling hooks to grab the ghost ship and pulled with all their might. With the cruise ship getting closer, the distance between them and the ghost ship was even smaller.

They immediately set up a ladder and climbed over to rescue the person.

However, all that could be heard on the ghost ship was a burst of gunfire, followed by even more horrific screams.

The cruise ship was much lower than the ghost ship, so it was impossible to see what was happening.

All that could be seen was a person clinging to the side of the ghost ship, pleading for help, before being dragged back by something.

At this moment, Gu Xicheng and Lu Qing no longer hesitated, and with a few extra steps, they climbed up the ladder.

When they reached the deck of the ghost ship, they finally saw what was in front of them.

A dark red creature with scarlet eyes, resembling a dog, was tearing at a person's arm, which was only held together by a sliver of skin and flesh, on the verge of being severed.

Lu Qing recognized this creature as a Red-eyed Mastiff.

Born in the seabed of corpses, it is a mutation of a sea lion, and is cruel and ferocious, with a fondness for eating human flesh.

Moreover, they are social creatures and never appear alone.

Sure enough, just as I was thinking this, I was surrounded by a pack of red-eyed mastiffs.

"Gu Xicheng, watch out!"

After saying that, Lu Qing picked up a wooden board from the side of his feet and threw it at them.

A red-eyed mastiff lunged at Lu Qing, who dodged to the side and then kicked the mastiff that had attacked from behind away.

In a few quick movements, they arrived in front of the man with the broken arm, checked his breathing, and found that he was still breathing. They immediately grabbed him by the collar and carried him to the side of the boat.

"Dals, get someone to catch them!"

Upon hearing Lu Qing's voice, Dars immediately ordered the other bodyguards to go and pick her up.

There were too many red-eyed mastiffs, so Lu Qing could only throw that person out and then go to rescue the other people who were still breathing.

Gu Xicheng found a few more living people in the cabin, but at the same time he was surrounded by an even larger number of red-eyed mastiffs.

An hour later, the two finally managed to get all the survivors from the ghost ship back onto the cruise ship.

Just as they were about to leave down the ladder, the red-eyed mastiffs rushed up the ladder and onto the cruise ship before they could.

When the people on the cruise ship saw the monster rushing towards them, they screamed and ran back to their rooms.

"They can't be allowed on the cruise ship!"

Lu Qing shouted sharply, then kicked the ladder into the sea.

The red-eyed mastiffs that were still on the ladder also fell down.

Seeing this, Gu Fei, Ruan Yinchen, and Liu Manyun on the deck quickly went to find another ladder to climb over.

"Qingqing, brother, come back quickly!"

"Idol! Hurry up!"

Lu Qing and Gu Xicheng also wanted to hurry, but all the red-eyed mastiffs blocked the edge of the deck, preventing them from getting close.

Lu Qing was furious: "You won't listen to reason, so you'll have to suffer the consequences! Gu Xicheng, step back!"

Gu Xicheng immediately took a few steps back.

Lu Qing formed a hand seal, and a golden magic seal rose above his head, accompanied by lightning and thunder.

The wind whipped at our clothes, making them flutter wildly. Our hair was soaked by the downpour and clung to our faces.

Raindrops trembled and fell along her long, delicate eyelashes.

Lightning followed the magic seal and concentrated on Lu Qing, its power gradually increasing.

Finally, Lu Qing's eyes darkened, and he slammed his hand on the deck floor:

"Heavenly Thunder, Break!"

Lightning struck the red-eyed mastiff directly, following the rainwater on the deck.

The next second, pitiful barks came from the deck. Countless red-eyed mastiffs were charred black by lightning, and you could even smell the roasted meat.

Lu Qing stood up and let out a heavy sigh.

The red-eyed mastiffs were almost completely wiped out; there was nothing left to stop them.

"Gu Xicheng, let's go!"

Lu Qing pulled Gu Xicheng along, about to go back to the cruise ship up the ladder.

Suddenly, the ghost ship began to rock violently.

The waves were churning, and not only the ghost ship, but the cruise ship was also rocking from side to side.

The ladder soon fell down again.

"Dals, are there any more ladders?" Ruan Yinchen asked hurriedly.

Darss looked at his female assistant, who shook her head:

"They're gone! There were only three ladders on the ship, and they've all fallen down."

"What should we do? The ghost ship is getting further and further away!" Liu Manyun said anxiously.

Ruan Yinchen saw the grappling hook and quickly threw it towards the ghost ship:

"Qingqing, Brother Gu, grab the rope quickly!"

Upon hearing the sound, Lu Qing and Gu Xicheng quickly reached for the rope of the grappling hook.

However, at that moment, Gu Xicheng suddenly saw something ahead, and his pupils contracted sharply:

"Oh no! It's a vortex!"

"Qingqing, run!"

The two grabbed the rope and leaped off the ghost ship.

Then, in the next second, a shark suddenly leaped out of the sea and bit through the rope.

"WTF!"

Lu Qing was so forced that he even started swearing.

She and Gu Xicheng fell into the sea, and the whirlpool quickly swept them in like a washing machine.

"Brother, Qingqing!"

"Idol!!!"

Gu Fei and Liu Manyun were so anxious they almost jumped down, but Ruan Yinchen quickly pulled them back.

The captain used all his strength to keep the steering wheel steady and increased the speed of the boat to the maximum to avoid being sucked into the whirlpool.

After an unknown amount of time, the storm finally subsided, and the sea returned to calm.

Gu Fei, Ruan Yinchen, and Liu Manyun slumped on the deck, seemingly unable to believe the fact that Gu Xicheng and Lu Qing had fallen into the sea.

The female assistant pushed Darss over.

"Miss Gu, I'm sorry!"

Gu Fei's face turned pale. When she turned her head and saw Darss, she suddenly stood up, grabbed him, and angrily said:

"You murderer! Give me back my brother and Qingqing!"

The female assistant tried to stop him, but Darss stopped her.

"Miss Gu, I'm sorry! I didn't know things would turn out this way!" Darss said, bowing his head in remorse.
