Lu Qing's brain was racing as he racked his brains for a solution.
Gu Xicheng's condition was likely caused by entering a meditative state but not knowing how to leave.

Lu Qing vaguely remembered that she had once entered a state of deep meditation from which she could not emerge. At that time, her master told her that if she did not wake up, he would not give her any food, and then she was suddenly startled awake.

Gu Xicheng gasped for breath, and suddenly his strength gave way, and his arm fell limply to the ground.
"I...I feel like I have absolutely no strength left in my body!"

Lu Qing looked at him and thanked him:

Chu Qianjue didn't know whether to cry or laugh.
While both were meditating, Gu Xicheng felt the Qi, while he only felt a little bit thanks to Gu Xicheng's light.
Helian Shi glanced at Chu Qianjue, then at Gu Xicheng, before coldly addressing Lu Qing:
"Come with me, I have something to tell you!"
Lu Qing shrank his neck, then got up and followed.
She didn't want to go, but Helian Shi's oppression was etched into her soul, and her instincts told her that she had to listen.
Once they were in a secluded spot, Helian Shi reached out his hand to Lu Qing, who quickly dodged it.
"Helian Shi, I am Lu Qing now, not Helian Qing. You can't hit me anymore!"
Helian Shi frowned immediately and forcefully placed his hand on Lu Qing's head.
A cool sensation flowed into Lu Qing's head, and he instantly felt most of the dull pain disappear, and he became much more awake.
"Your body hasn't recovered from the damage yet, so don't use your Qi for the next few days!"
"Every day, you're even more troublesome than in my previous life!"
Although Helian Shi was rude, a hint of concern still showed in his eyes.
A warm feeling welled up in Lu Qing's heart.
He was stubborn on the outside but soft on the inside – that perfectly describes Helian Shi, the older brother.
"You called me here just to heal my injuries!" Lu Qing said with a smile.
Helian Shi: "You're overthinking it. There's something I feel I need to tell you, it's about Gu Xicheng."
Lu Qing asked, puzzled, "About Gu Xicheng? What about him?"
Helian Shi: "Many, many years ago, I searched all over the country for Ah Jin. I once came to the ruins of an ancient kingdom where a deity was enshrined. I saw the mural of the deity, and he looked almost exactly like Gu Xicheng."
"The first time I saw Gu Xicheng, I felt that he was somewhat familiar, but because of my memory loss, I really couldn't remember him. It wasn't until just now when I felt the power in Gu Xicheng's body and looked through the notes I had written down before that I remembered him."
Lu Qing frowned: "You mean Gu Xicheng is the god of that ancient country?"
Helian Shi: "I don't know, but there's definitely some connection."

A look of worry flashed across Lu Qing's eyes, and Helian Shi, seeing this, advised her again:
"This is just what's depicted on the murals. Perhaps those ancient peoples have long since vanished in the tides of time. You don't need to worry too much. I'm just telling you this to give you a heads-up."
Lu Qing nodded: "I understand!"
After finishing his business, Helian Shi turned to leave, but stopped before he had gone far and added:
"You can handle the cultivation matter yourself. Gu Xicheng has the talent; it would be a waste if he didn't cultivate. But you'd better teach him to control it first, otherwise he'll suffer from qi deviation next time."
After Helian Shi left, Lu Qing went to find Gu Xicheng.
"What did Helian Shi say to you?" Gu Xicheng asked.
Lu Qing smiled and shook her head: "It's nothing, he was just healing my injuries."
"You must be hungry. Grandma's meat buns should be ready. I'll take you to eat some meat buns."
Lu Qing pulled Gu Xicheng toward the kitchen.
She didn't mention anything about the ancient gods; it was just a guess anyway, so there was no need for him to worry.
The steamed buns were ready. As soon as the lid was lifted, the aroma wafted out, a blend of the fragrance of dough and meat that whetted one's appetite.
Each of the large, oily meat buns was soft, fluffy, and white. Lu Qing didn't care that it was hot; she reached out and grabbed one, eagerly putting it into her mouth.
"It's so hot! It's so hot!"
Lu Qing burned himself so badly that he fried the meat bun in his mouth again, which amused everyone.
"Qingqing, eat slowly, no one's going to take it from you!"
Gu Xicheng broke the steamed bun in half, blew hard to dissipate the heat, and then handed it to Lu Qing.
Lu Qing ate about ten more steamed buns, her belly bulging.
She wasn't hungry, but rather craving food. Once her stomach was full, she simply couldn't eat anymore, no matter how much she wanted to.
Grandma brought over a basket of hawthorns, poured them into a pot, removed the pits, added sugar water, and boiled a large pot of hawthorn water. She then left it outside to cool naturally before serving it to Lu Qing.
"Hawthorn water helps with digestion, drink more, there'll be something delicious to eat later!"
Lu Qing hurriedly took the hawthorn water, gulped down a few mouthfuls, and then lay on the swing, burping.
Chu Qianjue, who was also showing off more than a dozen large steamed buns, sat next to her, clutching his stomach.
