Chapter 56

The chubby boy looked at Sang Chi, who was smiling brightly. He blinked and asked doubtfully, "Do you have any questions that I need to answer?"

Although the little fat boy is talkative, he is also lively and outgoing.

But he was still a little wary when this strange older brother, whom he had just met for the first time, said he had some questions to ask him.

After all, he thought, what could a little kid like him do to help solve the problem? Why not just ask Uncle Song and Aunt Fang?

Thinking of this, the expression on the little fat boy's face became more alert.

Sang Chi coughed lightly and said quickly, "Don't be nervous, little friend, we just want to ask you about someone."

"Who is it?" asked the little fat boy.

"Do you know the girl in the photo?" Sang Chi handed the photo to him and Tang Lun waited for his answer nervously.

The little fat boy took the photo and looked at it carefully for a few times, then finally scratched his head and said, "I don't know her, I've never seen her."

Tang Lun lowered his head in disappointment, but he still held on to a glimmer of hope and said, "Can you think about it seriously? Have you really never seen the girl in the photo?"

Sang Chi nodded and said, "Yes, little brother, think about it more."

The little fat boy curled his lips, he was unhappy, and shouted, "I just have no impression. If you don't believe me, you can take the photos and go ask my brother."

Sang Chi's eyes lit up, "Who is your brother? Can you take us there?"

When mentioning his "brother", the little fat boy's face was full of pride, "Okay, I can take you to find him. My brother is standing guard at the gate of the village."

Sang Chi thought of the young man who brought them to Uncle Song's house in the morning and said, "Is your brother called Xiaogang?"

The little fat boy nodded and shouted happily, "You know my brother's name on the first day you entered the village. He is already famous."

It can be seen that the two brothers have a very good relationship. The little fat boy likes his brother very much. Sang Chi smiled and nodded and said, "It was your brother who led us to Uncle Song's house."

When the chubby boy heard this, his guard against Sang Chi and the others disappeared. He waved his hands happily and said, "Okay, then let's go find my brother together and you ask him."

After saying that, the chubby boy looked at Sangsang who was playing with the puppy and said, "You can come to my house to see the puppy after a while."

Sangsang nodded her little head, picked up the fluffy Doudou, looked at her brothers and said softly, "I want to take Doudou out with you~".

After playing with Doudou for a while at the foot of the stairs, Sangsang wanted to follow his brothers for a walk in the village.

Sang Chi nodded, then he reached out and rubbed Sangsang's soft hair, and asked in confusion, "Sangsang, can you hold this puppy? Why don't you put it down."

The little yellow dog Doudou nestled quietly and obediently in her arms, but it seemed dissatisfied with what Sang Chi said. It bared its teeth and hissed, making a snoring sound.

Sang Chi touched his nose, curled his lips and said, "This little fat dog is not satisfied with what I said."

Sangsang smiled with her eyebrows curved, and a sweet dimple appeared on her face. She shook her head and said, "Brother, Doudou is not fat, I will hold it for a while."

Sang Chi looked at the chubby little dog nestled in his sister's arms. Worried that he would tire her out, he said, "Sangsang, can you hold the dog?"

As soon as Sang Chi finished speaking, Doudou was completely enraged. It barked at him a few times, as if saying, "No, no! Stay away from me, I don't want you to hug me!"

Sang Chi looked at the angry Doudou speechlessly. He had no choice but to remind Sangsang, "Okay, then if you get tired of holding Doudou, you must put it down."

Sangsang nodded obediently.

The fluffy little dog rubbed Sangsang's arms gently, then it lifted its legs towards Sang Chi, with a very cocky expression on its face.

Sang Chi was so angry at this "spoiled" little dog that his breath was choked. He snorted heavily and turned his head away from Doudou, thinking that out of sight, out of mind.

Tang Lun and his friends were just about to follow the fat boy to find his brother when Lu Ziting, who was drinking scented tea upstairs, slipped down and everyone went together.

Arriving near the Miao village's main gate, the chubby boy looked up at his brother standing guard on the hanging tower. He waved vigorously and shouted, "Brother! Come down!" Xiaogang blinked in confusion when he saw his brother had come with a few outsiders who had gone to Uncle Song and Aunt Fang's house. Then he said something to his friend who was also on guard and hurried down the tower.

"Xiao Qiang, what's wrong?" Xiao Gang looked at his brother in confusion and asked.

The chubby boy pointed at Sang Chi and the others and said, "Brother, they want to ask you something."

Tang Lun stepped forward, took out the photo, and said, "The girl in the photo is a friend I used to know. I'd like to ask if you recognize her."

After hearing this, the chubby boy looked up at the younger brother and muttered, "Brother, there is no such person in the village at all. Anyway, I don't know her."

"But they insisted that I think about it carefully, so I came to ask you."

Xiaogang didn't listen carefully to what his talkative brother said. He lowered his head and looked at the photo. He felt that the girl in the photo looked more and more familiar. This was Xiaoya from the village!

A few years ago, Xiaoya's mother had health problems, so the mother and daughter left the village to seek medical treatment.

Later, Xiaoya's mother, Aunt Li, recovered from her illness, but she still owed a lot of medical bills.

So Xiaoya left the village to work and earn money, and only returned to the village after she had earned back all the money she owed.

"Xiao Qiang, this is your sister Xiaoya," Xiao Gang tapped the chubby boy's forehead with the photo and said helplessly, "Xiaoya has short hair in the photo. Her hair is longer now, but the hairstyle is different. How come you didn't recognize her?"

The chubby kid held his head and exclaimed in disbelief, then pointed at Tang Lun and asked, "If the person in the photo is Sister Xiaoya, then what is his relationship with Sister Xiaoya?"

"Don't ask questions that children shouldn't ask," Lu Ziting reached out and patted the chubby boy's back, "This is not something you should know at your age."

The little fat boy was stunned for a moment, staring at Tang Lun with a strange look, as if he wanted to say something but hesitated.

Xiaogang pushed his brother aside, looked at Tang Lun and said, "Xiaoya left the village a few years ago. Was that when you met her?"

Although what he asked was a rhetorical question, his tone was very affirmative.

At this moment, when Tang Lun learned that the girl he liked was actually a girl from the Miao village, he was so surprised that he was speechless, and fireworks began to pop in his mind.

Sang Chi looked at Tang Lun who was stunned. He couldn't bear it any longer, so he poked his arm and said, "I'm asking you a question, don't just

Just daydreaming."

Tang Lun suddenly came back to his senses, he nodded with a silly smile and replied, "Yes, Xiaoya and I met at work."

Since Tang Lun and Xiaoya from the village were acquaintances, Xiaogang looked at the group with a much more friendly gaze.

He asked, "Do you want to go to Xiaoya's house now?"

Tang Lun hummed awkwardly, nodded and said, "I want to go see her."

"Okay, then let Xiaoqiang take you there," Xiaogang pushed the chubby boy, "I have to stand guard now and don't have time, you guys follow my brother."

Tang Lun nodded vigorously. He would be able to see Xiaoya soon, and everything was going so smoothly that he felt like he was dreaming.

He breathed a sigh of relief and said gratefully, "Thank you."

Xiaogang's eyes swept over Tang Lun from head to toe. He waved his hand and said, "Don't be so polite. After all, I now know that there are young men of the same age in the village who like Xiaoya and want to marry her. Why did she reject them all?

"Also, Xiaoya's mother, Aunt Li, saw that she was of marriageable age and wanted her to get married, but she kept putting it off."

"It turns out that during the years I was working away from home, I had someone I missed in my heart."

Xiaogang and Xiaoya are relatives. They grew up together and care about her affairs.

So when he learned that the Tang Lun in front of him might be the person Xiaoya cared about, he would definitely help the two of them meet, and there was no reason to stop him.

When Tang Lun heard this, he was stunned for a moment, then said unconfidently, "I like Xiaoya... but I don't know if she likes me now..."

The two had not seen each other for several years, and Tang Lun was not sure of the other party's feelings, so after listening to what Xiaogang said, he hesitated and began to make plans.

What if Xiaoya is not thinking about him at all?

Tang Lun pursed his lips, looked at Lu Ziting and the others, lowered his head and whispered, "Or, don't go, I'm not ready yet."

Lu Ziting patted his shoulder and encouraged him, "You have always wanted to see her, so don't back down now. No matter what the result is, don't leave yourself with regrets."

"Ziting is right," Sang Chi nodded, "and you said yourself that you don't want to have any regrets or remorse, so why are you so cowardly now?"

Tang Lun opened his mouth, but was too confused to say a word.

Sangsang held Doudou in her arms. She blinked her watery and clear eyes, listened to what her brothers said, and looked up at Tang Lun.

Then Sangsang's eyes lit up, and she said in a crisp voice, "Brother Tanglun, Sangsang will help you meet Sister Xiaoya, okay?"

"Sangsang likes to be the messenger the most."

Whenever Mom and Dad have a little quarrel, Sangsang is the one who talks to them, so she is very experienced.

Sang Chi and Lu Ziting looked at each other and both thought it was a good idea!

Tang Lun himself was not prepared and was embarrassed to meet Xiaoya, so he asked Sangsang to help pass on the message and tell the other party everything he wanted to say but didn't say out loud.

"Okay, then Sangsang, it's your turn to help Brother Tang Lun," Lu Ziting smiled with his big white teeth. He reached out and gently rubbed Sangsang's fair and tender little face. "He is so timid now. Sangsang bravely took over for Brother Tang Lun."

Sangsang hummed, clenched her fists and waved them vigorously, her eyes sparkling as she said, "Sangsang will definitely complete the task brilliantly!"

"Sister, I'm counting on you," Sang Chi bent down, smiled and patted Sangsang's little shoulder.

"Thank you, Sangsang, thank you for your trouble," Tang Lun bowed solemnly to the little guy and said gratefully.

"You're welcome," Sangsang waved her little hand, and then asked curiously, "Brother Tang Lun, what message should I convey to you?"

The tips of Tang Lun's ears turned red, and he replied shyly, "There are so many things I want to say, I haven't thought about it yet."

The people present looked at the extremely innocent Tang Lun in silence and urged him, "Why don't you think about it now!"

Tang Lun nodded quickly, and then he kept muttering to himself as everyone was led by Xiaoqiang to Xiaoya's house.

When they arrived in front of Xiaoya's tower crane, Tang Lun took a deep breath. His ears were red and pointed like a mosquito's whisper as he said, "I've thought of something you need Sangsang to tell Xiaoya..."
