Chapter 436: Cunning
Claridge's Hotel, Lounge.
Claridge's Hotel is a very famous five-star hotel, known as one of the four major hotels in London. Some politicians or big-name celebrities basically choose to stay here when they come to London for vacation.
Monkey walked in cautiously, holding the memory card taken out of the DV camera.
He was not infected by the luxurious atmosphere in the hotel, but was a little worried that he would mess up what Tang Shuo had asked him to do.
Tang Shuo had said that if anything happened, he would go to Miranda. But he couldn't trust her, so Monkey was a little unsure about the right course.
Even if he were to die, the monkey wouldn't be so uneasy.
"Sir, how can I help you?"
Although it was late at night, the hotel staff were still very welcoming. As soon as Monkey walked in, a young female waiter greeted him with a smile.
"I have an appointment with Miss Lucky." The monkey replied.
The waiter nodded, made a gesture of invitation and said, "This way, please."
Then, the monkey followed the waiter silently and walked towards the corner of the hall.
"Boss, this gentleman is looking for you." The waiter walked to the table in the corner and said to Miranda who was drinking coffee.
Miranda nodded, then put down her coffee cup and waved the waitress away.
While she was looking at the monkey, the monkey was naturally also observing her.
"Where's the video?"
Miranda seemed to find the monkey's broken arm somewhat unique. She chuckled and said, "Leave it to me."
The usually cheerful monkey now looked serious. He didn't rush to answer Miranda's question. Instead, he took the initiative to sit down opposite her.
Miranda was startled, as if she hadn't expected the other party to not be impressed by her aura. She shook her head and said, "Sorry, I forgot to ask if you needed anything to drink."
"Need not."
Monkey shook his head, rejected Miranda's proposal, and said, "I can give you the video, but you have to promise me one thing first."
"What's the matter?" Miranda asked curiously.
"Save Tang Shuo." said the monkey.
For now, he can only choose to ask for help from this stranger, and he also believes that only the other party can help Tang Shuo for the time being.
Miranda frowned and asked, "What's wrong with him?"
"I don't know the specific situation, but he should have fallen into Carl's hands." Monkey replied.
Miranda pondered for a moment, then nodded and said, "I'll try my best, but you have to give me the video first."
The monkey did not rush to answer, but looked at Miranda silently, as if he wanted to see through Miranda's words.
"I think you might not have understood the situation yet. Tang Shuo asked me to help him with this. It wasn't because of me." Miranda picked up the coffee cup again. After taking a sip, she said, "If you don't want to, you can leave now."
Monkey had already read the short story and had also heard Tang Shuo talk about the cause of the incident, so he knew that what Miranda said was the truth.
Then he sighed and took out the memory card from his pocket. After handing it to Miranda, he said, "Please save Tang Shuo."
Miranda took the memory card in her hand, looked at it, and said noncommittally, "Goodbye."
The monkey stood up, looked at Miranda again, then turned and walked straight out of the hotel.
If it weren't for Tang Shuo's important trust, Monkey would have rushed into Karl's manor to rescue him long ago. But thinking that Tang Shuo had already explained this to him before, he could only suppress his anger and try to calm himself down.
After the monkey left, Miranda waved to the bodyguard standing aside. When he came over, she whispered, "Get me a computer."
The bodyguard agreed and immediately walked towards the front desk of the lounge.
After watching the content of the video, Miranda showed a charming smile on her face.
The reason why she took so much trouble to arrange Tang Shuo to do this was that she really wanted to help her sister and Tang Shuo be together, but that was not all, she also had her own plans.
From her point of view, Tang Shuo's life was completely insignificant compared to her plan.
"Thank you, Tang Shuo." Miranda leaned on the sofa and murmured.
…
Suburban estate, wine cellar.
Karl pushed open the wooden door of the wine cellar, walked in and asked, "Is he awake?"
"No!" a bodyguard in black replied.
Carl nodded and walked into the cellar.
Since he rarely lives here, there are not many bottles of wine in Carl's cellar, and the cellar is basically empty.
At this time, Tang Shuo was thrown in the middle of the wine cellar like a corpse, while Parker was standing and chatting with a bodyguard.
Karl walked over to Tang Shuo and said to Parker, "Wake him up."
Carl himself knew what happened between Tang Shuo and Louise. It was he who hired the Sun's men to assassinate Tang Shuo in the beginning.
However, not only did this matter fail, but in the end, Sun even refused it in an abnormal way and even said that he would return the money to him.
Although this could be considered a reason for the other party to kill him, Carl felt that things were not that simple. Tang Shuo simply did not have the ability to plan this.
So he still has a lot of questions and wants to ask the other party.
Parker nodded and glared at the other bodyguard.
"Wake up..." He used claw skills.
The bodyguard immediately stepped forward, grabbed Tang Shuo's hair, lifted him up, and patted him on the face.
Seeing that Tang Shuo didn't react at all, the bodyguard put Tang Shuo down and said, "You may need some water. I'll go get it!"
"Yeah." Carl nodded.
Suddenly, Tang Shuo, who had just been in a state of unconsciousness, sat up suddenly from the ground, picked up the fire axe that fell beside him, and rushed directly towards Carl.
Tang Shuo's speed was simply too fast, which was totally not what a seriously injured person should be like.
By the time Parker and Carl came to their senses, the fire axe in Tang Shuo's hand was already against Carl's neck.
When the bodyguards in the distance saw the situation here, they froze in place, staring at Tang Shuo in amazement.
"Don't kill me!" Carl said immediately.
Tang Shuo endured the pain in his body, chuckled, and said, "Take me out."
"Okay." Carl responded immediately: "As long as you don't kill me, I will definitely take you out safely."
Parker, who was standing aside, glanced at Tang Shuo's legs and said firmly, "You'd better give up. You've lost too much blood. Even if you manage to get out, you won't be able to leave here."
"You don't need to worry about these things." Tang Shuo's expression turned cold, and he said to Karl in a cold voice: "Let's go!"
Parker was right. Tang Shuo's current physical condition was indeed difficult to sustain. Fortunately, his physical foundation was relatively strong, and he was only feeling a little dizzy.
But he has no choice now. If he continues to stay, he will just wait for death.
Carl glanced down at the blood-stained fire axe, feeling no desire to resist. He then followed Tang Shuo's instructions and cautiously walked towards the wine cellar door.
Parker followed closely behind the two men and said to Tang Shuo with a frown, "As long as you let him go, I can guarantee that you will leave here alive, and I will even drive you out myself when the time comes."
"What's your guarantee?" Tang Shuo asked, then said coldly, "If you can give me your life, I'll agree to your terms."
“…”
Parker was speechless for a moment. When he saw the expectant expression on Carl's face, he realized that Tang Shuo was setting a trap for him.
How could he possibly entrust his life to someone else?
Moreover, he was the one who caused both wounds on the other person's body. If he really did what the other person said, he was afraid that after he sent the other person to a safe place, the other person would take his life without hesitation.
This guy must have known that Carl would not agree to this condition, so he deliberately said it, causing Carl to be dissatisfied with him.
Cunning Chinese people!
Parker cursed in his heart, then shook his head and said, "No!"
