The two furry-eared boys noticed Wen Ya looking over. One with white ears reacted quickly and dodged. The other with black ears, however, clearly hadn't reacted yet and stared blankly at them.
"Don't look, we've been discovered!"
After being reminded by his companions, the black-eared boy finally reacted and slowly hid himself.
Gu Xunli had already stood up and was walking towards the window. His expression was sullen, and he looked particularly unhappy. Wen Ya had just quickly put on her clothes when she saw Gu Xunli reach out and directly pull up the two young boys who were peeking from the windowsill.
The two boys looked about six or seven years old, and were two adorable little boys. Wen Ya noticed their tails. The boy with white ears had a large white tail behind him. It looked like a fox's tail.
The black-eared boy had round ears. Perhaps he was a little nervous after being caught, and his small black ears were still trembling slightly.
The white-eared boy seemed a bit bolder. He looked up at Wen Ya, then at Gu Xunli, who was standing nearby with a sullen expression. He was clearly a bit nervous. Wen Ya noticed that his tail was tightly pressed against his buttocks.
Wen Ya didn't want to scare them, so she walked up to them, half-knelt in front of the two little guys, and said with a smile, "Don't be afraid."
As she spoke, she observed the two young boys. Their clothes were new and looked high quality. Their cheeks were rosy, and it was obvious that they were well cared for.
"Why are you here? Where are your parents?"
The older sister was very kind to the two boys before they met, and they gradually became less nervous. The white-eared boy's tail no longer stuck to his butt.
The white-eared boy looked up at Wen Ya and said seriously, "Our home is here. We don't have a father or a mother."
After hearing what the young boy said, Wen Ya was stunned for a moment. She continued to look down at them and asked, "Then why did you two come here?"
The two young boys were both confused. In the end, the black-eared boy looked at Wen Ya and whispered, "I don't know, it's just, it's just a feeling..."
Wen Ya had a rough idea of what was going on. The two children were clearly still in their infancy as ferocious beasts. Without the protection of the larger beasts, their auras were distinct. Wen Ya sensed that one of the young boys was an ancient white fox, and the other, the black-eared boy, was an ancient panda.
The two little boys were quite well behaved. Wen Ya took out some snacks she had brought for them. The two little boys took them with a smile: "Thank you, sister~"
Gu Xunli stood aside, watching the two of them silently, without saying a word. Wen Ya looked up at Gu Xunli, then walked to his side and waved her hand in front of his eyes. He looked at her, and his beautiful eyes finally lit up.
Wen Ya smiled at him, and Gu Xunli reached out and gently grasped the little hand that was waving in front of him. Wen Ya was about to speak when she noticed the two little boys who were eating seriously and watching them intently.
Afraid of corrupting the children, Wen Ya smiled a little embarrassedly, then pulled her hand out of Gu Xunli's.
The black-eared child looked at Wen Ya with his big dark eyes, and then asked curiously and seriously: "Big sister, were you making dolls before?"
As soon as he finished speaking, the white-eared kid next to him was startled. The hair on his tail stood up, and he immediately reached out his little hand to cover the black-eared kid's mouth, whispering to him, "What are you talking about!"
After the white-eared kid finished speaking, he turned around and glanced at the strange brother with a cold expression beside Wen Ya. This strange brother looked a little scary. Based on his years of intuition, he judged that this strange brother must be very difficult to mess with. He must not mess with him!
Wen Ya was left in tears and amused by the little kid's question. Before she could figure out how to explain it to them, there was a knock on their door.
Wen Ya subconsciously glanced at the door. The people outside must be looking for the two children. Sure enough, before they opened the door, the two children stood up first. They whispered to each other, "It's over, it's over. Is it my second sister?"
"Hello." It was a sweet girl's voice. "Excuse me, could you open the door?"
Wen Ya went over and opened the door. Outside the room stood a little girl in a white dress. She looked about sixteen or seventeen years old. She first glanced at Wen Ya, then at the two children who were sitting quietly in her room. She smiled and said, "Excuse me, I'm here to look for them."
After the little girl finished speaking, she turned to the two young boys over there and said, "You're running around here and there late at night. Do you want to get beaten again?"
The two young boys knew they were in the wrong, so they didn't dare to talk back. They walked slowly to the little girl. The little girl finally looked at Wen Ya and Gu Xunli, and there was a hint of doubt in her beautiful eyes.
"Sorry to bother you, I will take them away right away." The little girl turned around and said to Wen Ya.
"Can you wait a moment?" Seeing the little girl about to leave, Wen Ya took a step forward and said to her, "Can I ask you something?"
"Please speak." The little girl paused and said politely.
Wen Ya didn't ask directly. She looked down at the two boys' furry ears and said, "They..."
Before Wen Ya could finish her question, the little girl said without changing her expression, "This is because they have acquired superpowers. They have animal-type superpowers and haven't completely integrated them yet, so they retain some of their superpower characteristics."
After she finished speaking, she also looked down at the two naughty boys. The black-eared boy lowered his head, not knowing what he was thinking, while the white-eared boy raised his head and looked at Wen Ya curiously.
"They must be ancient ferocious beasts." Wen Ya thought about it and asked directly.
The little girl who was still standing at the door immediately looked up at Wen Ya warily.
"We have no bad intentions, we just want to ask you something." Wen Ya said without deliberately hiding her aura.
"Second sister, I don't think this sister is a bad person." The white-eared boy raised his head and spoke to the little girl. He was still eating snacks and his words were unclear.
The little girl looked down at him, then looked up at Wen Ya, and then said, "Wait a moment."
