Chapter 105 The Beauty Trap

A dark shadow flashed over quickly. The beastmen huddled together, ready for battle. Mo Zhou held Yu Wanwan tightly in his arms and lashed out with his snake tail, striking the shadow heavily.

The shadowy figure slowed down, and Yu Wanwan could finally see clearly that what was in front of her was a black tortoise shell with white spots. The tortoise shell rolled over Liu Ge and carried him away from where he was.

Mo Zhou's eyes narrowed, realizing that this was someone who had come to rescue Liu Ge.

Although they had decided to let Liu Ge go, that damned turtle had almost hurt Yu Wanwan, and Mo Zhou had no way of letting him leave so easily.

He grabbed Yu Wanwan and instantly darted dozens of meters away, blocking the black turtle's path. He then lashed out with his snake tail, sending the turtle flying.

The tortoise shell flew through the air, and Liu Ge fell onto the beach.

The tortoise tried to escape, but its strength and speed were no match for Mo Zhou's. Mo Zhou blocked its way, and the thick, long snake tail wrapped around the tortoise's shell, exerting force as if trying to crush it to pieces.

Faced with such immense power, even his hard shell couldn't withstand it for long. The turtle let out a painful howl, and he even felt that his shell had been cracked.

His companion's screams brought Liu Ge to his senses. He struggled to his feet, rushed to Mo Zhou's snake tail, and desperately pulled at it, pleading, "Mo Zhou, please let him go! He's my friend!"

Mo Zhou refused to listen to him. His purple eyes were like a cold pool, and he looked at the turtle in the snake's tail as if it were a dead object.

His strength was so little that it wasn't even enough to push Mo Zhou a centimeter. Liu Ge had no other choice but to ask Yu Wanwan for help.

"Wanwan, please, I beg you, Zhiyang is my friend, please don't kill him!"

Holding Mo Zhou in his arms and moving quickly, Yu Wanwan felt like she had just been on a pirate ship, and her head was still a little dizzy. However, after a brief moment of confusion, she came to her senses and grabbed Mo Zhou's hand: "Mo Zhou, let him go."

Mo Zhou looked at Yu Wanwan with icy eyes: "He almost hurt you just now."

"I'm not hurt, really." Yu Wanwan felt a strong urge to vomit from the tight grip of his arm and the previous rapid drift.

"Please let him go, otherwise..." She covered her mouth, "Otherwise I'm really going to throw up, ugh—"

Yu Wanwan couldn't help but gag a few times, her stomach churning, feeling extremely uncomfortable.

Mo Zhou's gaze tightened, and he forgot about the tortoise, leaving it aside. He anxiously patted Yu Wanwan's slender back: "Wanwan, are you alright?"

Yu Wanwan's stomach relaxed instantly, and she felt much better. She waved her hand, leaned against Mo Zhou's chest, and looked as pale as a salted fish.

Zhiyang fell to the ground on his back. After regaining his freedom, he became an eighteen-year-old boy. He flipped over, grabbed a harpoon, and protected Liuge tightly behind him.

Upon seeing this, Youyi immediately ordered the beastmen to prepare for battle and they rushed over, surrounding them layer by layer.

Despite the pain, Zhiyang held Liuge tightly behind her, saying, "Your Highness, don't worry, I will definitely protect you!"

Liu Ge grabbed Zhi Yang's hand and said helplessly, "Zhi Yang, you've misunderstood. They are all my friends."

"What kind of friends!" Zhiyang turned her head slightly to look at Liuge: "How could Your Highness be friends with such shameless, hot-blooded beastmen?"

After recovering, Yu Wanwan explained, "We really are friends."

"You're talking nonsense!" Zhiyang retorted angrily. "You're just trying to deceive our prince because you think he's innocent and naive."

Yu Wanwan: "..."

Mo Zhou's snake tail swayed a few times in the air as he coldly stared at Zhi Yang: "You'd better behave yourself, or I won't let you off the hook."

Although she had almost been killed by Mo Zhou, Zhi Yang still looked at him without fear, and even pointed at him and cursed: "You traitor, you actually became partners with a hot-blooded beastman, have you forgotten our hatred?"

Mo Zhou's forehead veins throbbed, and with lightning speed, he lashed out with his tail. Zhi Yang had no chance to dodge and was sent flying, crashing onto the beach with a thud.

"Zhiyang!" Liuge called out, her fishtail struggling to crawl on the sand to Zhiyang's side and help him up.

The blow was really hard. Zhiyang felt like his tortoise shell had shattered. With Liuge's help, he propped himself up and vomited a mouthful of blood.

Yu Wanwan quickly stopped Mo Zhou from making the move a second time.

They had just agreed to let Liu Ge go; she didn't want any casualties to cause things to get out of control.

That was her plan, but Zhiyang was clearly unaware of his own situation. Even in this situation where the enemy was stronger than him, he could still show a mocking smile and skillfully incite hatred: "Your Highness, you see, these hot-blooded orcs are so shameless. They not only tricked you ashore and tried to do something bad to you, but they also injured us."

"Where did we hurt Liu Ge?" Yu Wanwan couldn't take it anymore: "The wounds on Liu Ge's body were clearly caused by your harpoon."

Zhiyang paused for a moment, then turned to look at Liuge.

Their eyes met, and both felt a little awkward.

"prince……"

Liu Ge nodded with difficulty: "It really was you who scratched me."

Zhiyang: "..."

His face turned pale and then flushed, and after a moment he said dryly, "Even so, they still have ill intentions."

“Zhiyang.” Liu Ge frowned. “They are all my friends.”

Seeing the little prince's innocent and easily fooled appearance, Zhiyang was heartbroken: "Your Highness, you have been protected too well by the king. What good are those hot-blooded beastmen? Besides, you are of noble status. They are not worthy to be your friends at all."
