Chapter 151 Missed Opportunity

Fei Han looked at the food in front of her and fell into deep thought.

To be honest, he had considered that Mo Zhou might not be able to cook, and he had also considered that his cooking might be terrible. He had even thought about how to manage Yu Wanwan's meals after Mo Zhou failed.

I never expected him to do such a good job.

Fei Han ate the barbecue, her suspicious gaze sweeping over Mo Zhou from head to toe.

Not long after the meal, Uncle Fu Yi, who had taken on a mission from Fei Han, also returned.

"Lord Feihan, we have searched the place you mentioned for a long time, including the surrounding area, but we have not found a body."

Fei Han frowned: "How could there not be?"

“Not only was there none, but the place was spotless, without even a trace of blood,” Fu Yi added.

If it weren't for his absolute trust and respect for Fei Han, Fu Yi would have doubted whether he had been deceived.

Fei Han said, "Since we can't find it, that's fine. You should go back now. Thank you all for your hard work this time."

"No, no, how could it be troublesome for you to ask me to do this?" Fu Yi waved his hands repeatedly, and was about to leave when Fei Han called him back.

"Uncle Fuyi, these are herbs I recently researched. You can boil this packet of herbs into a soup for the people of our tribe. It can help them strengthen their bodies."

Fu Yi respectfully accepted the herbs, a look of joy on his face: "Thank you, Lord Fei Han."

After he left, Fei Han told Mo Zhou that they hadn't found the orc corpse.

After hearing this, Mo Zhou asked, "Could it be that they're lying to you?"

The scene was so chaotic, how could there be no trace left?

Fei Han said with certainty, "Uncle Fu Yi wouldn't lie to me. There must be something fishy about this."

He thought for a moment and said, "Could it be that they went back and cleaned up the scene again?"

“It’s not impossible, but…” Mo Zhou stroked his chin before saying, “However, the female’s partner was so stupid as to set fire to the house when no one was home. She doesn’t seem like the kind of person who would know to go back and clean up the scene.”

Fei Han sighed: "In short, now that the evidence is gone, we'll probably have to wait until next time to catch that female."

"Next time is fine, as long as it doesn't hurt Wanwan." Mo Zhou waved his hand, not caring about these things.

In his view, that female and her useless partner were not even qualified to be his opponents and were not worth fearing at all.

Just then, Yu Wanwan came out after taking a shower.

Upon seeing the young female, both of them simultaneously ended their current conversation.

Fei Han took the towel from Yu Wanwan's hand and gently and carefully dried her hair.

Yu Wanwan asked, "Feihan, how is your wound?"

"Don't worry, I'm fine now." Fei Han kissed her on the cheek.

Mo Zhou sat down next to Yu Wanwan and took her hand, playing with it: "Wanwan, are you hungry? Do you want some fruit?"

Yu Wanwan shook her head: "I'm so full right now."

She didn't control the amount of food she ate for dinner properly and accidentally cooked too much. To avoid wasting it, Yu Wanwan ate all of it, and now her stomach is so full she can't stand it anymore.

After their hair was almost dry, the three of them, feeling exhausted, returned to their room to rest.
