Yu Wanwan's hat was not successfully made.
First, she didn't know how to sew a hat; second, the silk was too soft and couldn't maintain its shape.
So she had to give up her plan to make a hat. Instead, she found some thin bamboo strips and strung them together to form a five-pointed star shape. The hollow center allowed her to wear it on her head, while the edges supported the silk.
After roughly shaping it, Yu Wanwan reinforced it with silk thread and wooden sticks, and a very simple straw hat was finished.
Yu Wanwan cut out a rectangular piece of shark silk and wrapped it around the edge of her straw hat. This way, she could perfectly cover her face without having to cover it, allowing the air to circulate and making her feel much cooler.
Lifting the mermaid silk, Yu Wanwan revealed a smiling face: "How about it, can you still see my face?"
"Don't worry, you can't see it anymore. Wanwan is so smart." Feihan patted the top of her head, which was covered by the bamboo hat.
With this straw hat, not only her face, but her entire upper body was completely hidden, and he was extremely satisfied.
On the day of the banquet, Yu Wanwan, wearing a straw hat, attracted a lot of attention.
The beastmen kept turning around, not understanding what the little female was wearing on her head, nor what she wanted to do with it.
Is it something you're ashamed to show?
Blocked from seeing the beastmen, Yu Wanwan held Fei Han's hand tightly and carefully looked at the ground as she walked forward.
Well, she miscalculated. A veil has its advantages; at least she can see the road clearly when she wears one. She should have put on the straw hat earlier, when she was about to eat.
The embarrassment of not being able to see the road clearly only disappeared after I sat down in my seat.
This banquet was not held in a room, but in an open space. Yu Wanwan roughly estimated that it should be in front of the main hall in the very center.
A circle of tables was set up in the open space, with various foods on them. A campfire was burning in the middle of the tables. Yu Wanwan ate a fruit and couldn't help but think to herself: Orcs really like campfires, they even burn them in broad daylight.
Wangye sat in a slightly elevated position facing the door, while they sat on the side, in a position that was neither too close nor too far from him.
The banquet consisted mostly of roasted meat, with only some fruit and virtually no vegetables.
Yu Wanwan was getting a little tired of eating, but the beastmen were all enjoying their meal.
Halfway through the meal, many orcs left their seats to chat with each other, and Fei Han also went to the restroom.
Wang Ye turned his head and saw Yu Wanwan. Just then, Yu Wanwan also looked over. Wang Ye smiled at her and said, "Wanwan, is this your partner?"
Sitting next to Yu Wanwan was Mo Zhou, and Yu Wanwan nodded.
Wang Ye's smile widened even more: "How come I've never seen him before?"
I hadn't seen her before; it was all because Mo Zhou went to find out about Nana's situation.
However, how could Yu Wanwan tell Wang Ye? After thinking for a moment, she simply shifted all the blame to Wang Ye: "That's because you came at the wrong time. Mo Zhou just happened to be away."
Wangye didn't seem to mind her somewhat offensive remark and continued to ask, "Your partner is very strong. What race is he?"
“He…” Yu Wanwan glanced at Mo Zhou subconsciously and said, “Mo Zhou is a member of the Tiger Clan.”
"Tiger Clan?" Wang Ye sat up straight, leaned forward slightly, and looked Mo Zhou up and down. "Shouldn't the Tiger Clan be very masculine? Why does your partner smell so strongly of perfume, just like those pretentious females in our Beast City?" The floral scent on him was so strong that he couldn't even smell his own clan's scent at first.
Upon hearing people call him effeminate, Mo Zhou's face darkened visibly.
Even through the silk, Yu Wanwan could sense that Mo Zhou was getting angry. She quickly grabbed Mo Zhou's hand and explained, "That's because I like the scent of fragrant flowers, so I asked Mo Zhou to sprinkle fragrant flower water on me."
Wang Ye nodded enigmatically, his expression somewhat suggestive: "Fallen Fragrance Flowers are unique to the Dan Bird Clan; you can't find them anywhere else. Little female, if you like them, why don't you stay in Beast City? I'll plant a field of Fallen Fragrance Flowers just for you, how about that?"
Mo Zhou's face darkened even more. This damned wolf dared to seduce Wanwan right in front of him.
Yu Wanwan gripped his hand tighter, about to say no, when Fei Han's voice sounded from behind: "Wanwan likes the fragrant flower, we can take some seeds back with us."
Wang Ye laughed and said, "I'm just trying to make you happy with the females. Wouldn't it be great if you all stayed?"
Fei Han ignored him and poured water for Yu Wanwan.
I didn't eat much barbecue, but I drank a lot of water.
Yu Wanwan also felt the urge to urinate, so she tugged at Fei Han's sleeve and whispered, "Fei Han, I need to go to the toilet too."
Fei Han nodded, and Mo Zhou wanted to follow, but Yu Wanwan held him back.
She's just going to the restroom, it's not like she's returning to the palace, it's strange to have so many people following her.
After leaving the banquet, Fei Han, who was very familiar with the Beast King Palace, found the women's restroom without needing anyone to guide her. Once Yu Wanwan had taken care of her important life event, the two walked back hand in hand.
As they reached a corner, they suddenly bumped into an orc. The orc looked somewhat like the shaman of the White Tiger tribe, both with long white beards.
"Teacher?" Fei Han asked.
The orc he called his teacher didn't expect to run into him here. Although it was a reunion of teacher and student, there was no happy expression on his face. Instead, the moment he realized it was Fei Han, his face turned pale, and he hurriedly put his hands behind his back, clearly looking like a guilty thief.
