Chapter 158 Coming to Cause Trouble

Noticing that Fei Han wasn't staring at him, the witch doctor quickly tucked the thing he was hiding behind his back into his clothes, covering it up tightly.

"Well, you guys keep talking, I'll be going now."

He clutched his chest and forced his way past Fei Han and Yu Wanwan.

The witch doctor disappeared in a flash, and Chang Yue couldn't help but wonder, "What's wrong with the witch doctor? He looks very anxious."

Fei Han gave him a cryptic look and said, "I don't know either. It just happened like this when I ran into him."

"Alright then." Chang Yue shrugged, a hint of helplessness on his face. "I don't know what the witch doctor has been doing lately. He's been hiding in his house all day and won't come out. I finally managed to see him today, but he left in a hurry."

His words implied that Fei Han hadn't been in contact with witch doctors for a long time.

Fei Han lowered her eyes and said, "Oh."

Although Chang Yue's previous explanation was very innocent, Fei Han would not change his attitude or get close to him again until the matter was investigated.

Despite Fei Han's cold attitude, Chang Yue still smiled gently: "Fei Han, you've been back for so long. Remember to visit the old witch doctor when you have time. He's been very worried about you since you disappeared."

Fei Han didn't speak, but a mocking look flashed in her eyes.

Why doesn't he believe the witch doctor's concern for him?

"I understand, we'll head back now."

"You're here for a banquet, right? Why is the little female wearing this?" He looked at Yu Wanwan, very curious about what she was wearing on her head.

Yu Wanwan pinched a corner of the silk and said, "I had some growths on my face a few days ago, so I used this to cover my face."

Chang Yue suddenly realized and said with concern, "Then you should ask Fei Han to take a good look at you. He is the most skilled doctor in Beast City. The sooner your face is healed, the more we'll need you for the upcoming competition."

"Okay, thank you," Yu Wanwan said, her tone neither humble nor arrogant.

Chang Yue stepped aside, allowing Fei Han to leave with Yu Wanwan.

The two returned to the banquet. Yu Wanwan could no longer eat and could only sit there bored.

Just as Wangye was about to have a chat with Feihan, a beastman suddenly ran in from outside. He knelt in front of Wangye, his face anxious: "It's terrible, Beast King! There's trouble outside the palace!"

"Causing trouble?" Wangye raised an eyebrow in surprise.

It's unbelievable that someone would dare to provoke him at his doorstep; this is truly unprecedented.

Yu Wanwan covered her face with her hand, leaned towards Fei Han, and asked in a low voice, "Is it someone Wang Ye has offended, so they're coming to cause trouble now?"

She felt that Wangye's mouth and personality were very much like someone who offended people everywhere.

Before Fei Han could answer, the orc who brought the message pointed directly at the two of them, immediately drawing everyone's attention: "It's the Warthog Tribe, here to cause trouble for Lord Fei Han."

Yu Wanwan: "......"

This is truly something else; one second you're enjoying the gossip, and the next second you're the one getting gossiped about.

Upon hearing that someone was causing trouble for Fei Han, Wang Ye was clearly delighted, showing even more interest and concern than if he himself were the one being targeted: "Quick, quick, tell me what exactly happened."

The orc quickly recounted what had happened: "The group of warthog orcs were carrying a bag full of ashes, saying that Lord Feihan had deliberately killed their people in the beast city, and they wanted an explanation."

There are rules in Beast City: killing is not allowed. If someone kills, they must pay with their life. If the beastmen have any grudges or hatred, they must find a witness, make a life-or-death pact, and agree on a time to fight in the arena. Only then can they kill each other openly and without any punishment.

Wang Ye turned to look at Fei Han: "Fei Han, you killed someone? Oh no, I can't protect you now. You're going to be locked up in jail. It seems you won't be able to leave Beast City this time."

His face was full of schadenfreude, and his tone was incredibly irritating.

"I've never seen any warthog orcs." He's been staying in the Danbird Clan's territory with Yu Wanwan all this time, and hasn't even left the house.

If we had to go back to before, the only other orcs he had met were the innkeeper and the swift that delivered the message.

"Oh? That's strange." Wangye looked at the beastman on the ground and asked, "Did the warthog beastman specifically name Feihan as the person he was looking for?"

The orc nodded.

Yu Wanwan couldn't help but ask worriedly, "Feihan, what's going on? Is someone framing us?"

Fei Han remained calm: "We'll discuss everything once we see the warthog orcs."

Wangye clearly thought the same thing as him, and waved his hand, saying, "Go and bring the warthog beastman in so I can take a look."

Soon, a large group of orcs walked in.

Yu Wanwan, with her sharp eyes, immediately recognized them: "Aren't these the orcs we encountered in the competition a few days ago?"

If we have to say who fought with these orcs, then it's only Mo Zhou.

Noticing Yu Wanwan's gaze, Mo Zhou turned his head, looking completely innocent.

The warthog beastmen stood still in the arena, their gazes sweeping across the area before quickly finding their target. They charged towards Yu Wanwan and the others, shouting, "You murderers, give us back the lives of our people!"

Fei Han immediately shielded Yu Wanwan behind her, and Mo Zhou stood up, exuding the pressure of a powerful figure.

Those warthog orcs knew of Mo Zhou's terrifying strength and understood the cruelty of his methods. Just as they were about to reach him, they stopped and retreated in a group.
