"No." Qinglu quickly interrupted her, hurriedly lifting his robe and sitting down beside her.
The two of them stood close together, and Qinglu's heart beat even faster.
He was surprised that the little female wasn't angry and even said she wanted to eat with him.
The two sat there blankly for a while without saying a word.
Yu Wanwan noticed that he seemed a little stiff, and her stomach started growling.
She was a little embarrassed: "Qinglu, I think I'm hungry."
Qinglu nodded: "I know, I heard your stomach growling."
Yu Wanwan: "..."

Of course she knew her stomach was growling; how could she not hear it?

He jumped up from the ground, and almost fell over because he stepped on the hem of his clothes in his haste.
Yu Wanwan quickly reached out her hand, but he had already steadied himself: "I'll be right back!"
He left in a hurry. Yu Wanwan was stunned for a moment, and only after his figure disappeared did she burst into laughter.
The Qing Dynasty legal code now seems rather clumsy.
