For the first time, Yu Wanwan experienced the feeling of losing a partner. The heart-wrenching pain tore at her, making it almost impossible for her to breathe.
Countless mermaids chased after the sinking mermaid king, while the enraged elder remained fixated on Yu Wanwan. His ancestral power transformed into a wall of water, attempting to intercept Yu Wanwan, but the blue-tailed fish protected her, scaling the wall again and again.
The elder was furious and threw a harpoon. The harpoon was carried by the current and rushed towards Yu Wanwan. Some of the blue-tailed fish rushed in front of the harpoon, disrupting the current. The harpoon deviated slightly and hit Yu Wanwan squarely on the head.
Her vision went black, and she fainted.
"What to do? The little female is injured! Quickly save her!" The voice of the God of Time echoed in her mind.
In a daze, I heard the chief god coldly say, "We can't directly intervene in the orcs' affairs, we can't save them."
However, when she opened her eyes again, she was already on the shore, half of her body submerged in seawater, and a familiar face was in front of her: "Chu Lin?"
"It's me, Wanwan. Are you alright?"
Chu Lin quickly helped her up.
Before Yu Wanwan could answer, the elder emerged from the water with several of his trusted mermaids, pointing a harpoon at her with murderous intent: "Hot-blooded orc, you actually killed our king! I will not let you get away with this!"
Chu Lin immediately shielded Yu Wanwan behind him, while the beast soldiers behind him charged toward the elder.
The beastmen were well-trained, while the elders were few in number and, having just been chased, quickly found themselves at a disadvantage.
Seeing that the situation was not good, the elder had no choice but to grit his teeth and retreat back to the seabed, planning to take revenge later.
Chu Lin took Yu Wanwan to a place far away from the ocean. Looking at the delicate little female, he couldn't help but ask, "Wanwan, what that mermaid said was true. Did you really kill their mermaid king?"
Thinking of Lan Yin's appearance before her death, Yu Wanwan closed her eyes, her expression pained.
"yes."
Lan Yin died because of her.
Now, not only Chu Lin, but even the beast soldiers he brought out couldn't help but look at Yu Wanwan with new respect.

Soon, only Yu Wanwan was left in the hall. She lay down on the bed and wrapped herself tightly in animal skin.
Tears fell without my noticing, soaking a large area.
Chu Lin walked out of the main hall, and the orc who had been waiting for a long time immediately stepped forward: "Prince, the Beast King is looking for you."
Chu Lin nodded. It seemed that the Beast King knew about the little female killing the Mermaid King and wanted to ask him about it, and also to discuss the attack on the Cold-Blooded Beast Clan.
Yu Wanwan drifted off to sleep, and when she woke up again, she was no longer in bed, but back at Mirror Lake.
