Chapter Fifty-Seven: The Relationship Between Male Beasts

Yu Wanwan took the herbs and was about to apply them to Fei Han, whose injuries were more serious, when she suddenly heard a cold snort. Thinking of Mo Zhou's arrogant personality, she turned around and smeared the medicine from under her fingernails onto Mo Zhou's tail.

After applying the medicine, Mo Zhou happily held his tail and showed off to Bai Jing and Fei Han: "See? Wanwan was the first to apply the medicine for me. You guys don't get this treatment."

Bai Jing got up and walked towards the kitchen, indicating that he didn't want to pay attention to it. Fei Han rolled her eyes and turned her face away.

After finally calming Mo Zhou down, Yu Wanwan began to apply medicine to Fei Han.

Mo Zhou really went all out; he turned a perfectly good young man into a body covered in bruises.

She gently blew on the medicine and said to Feihan, "After I finish applying the medicine, go lie down on the bed and get up when you're better."

Fei Han quickly replied, "I'm fine now. This little injury is no problem at all."

“But… your face is all swollen.” Yu Wanwan pointed to his face.

While it's nice to receive attention from females, as a male, how can he just lie in bed doing nothing? That's just too undignified.

Fei Han stood up abruptly, proving that she was completely fine: "This little injury won't affect me at all. Wanwan, you wait here, I'll hunt some back for you right now!"

As he spoke, he tried to run out of the cave, but Yu Wanwan quickly grabbed him tightly, almost pulling him to the ground: "Don't go, Bai Jing has already gone to cook."

"Then I'll hunt for you again tomorrow. What would you like to eat last night?"

"It will be all right......"

Yu Wanwan watched as Fei Han, covered in wounds, hopped around wildly. She didn't know if male beasts were really tough or if Fei Han's vitality was too strong. Afterwards, he didn't utter a sound about his injuries, as if those wounds were fake.

Perhaps I truly don't understand this beast world.

Since both wounded men were alright, Yu Wanwan sent them off to tidy up the cave.

They had been traveling for a long time. Although the cave wasn't completely deserted, it was still quite dirty and messy. The walls and ceiling needed to be cleaned again, and the rough areas needed to be smoothed out. They also needed to throw away the spoiled food in the cellar and move out their belongings to make room for cleaning the cellar.

Having received the mission, Fei Han picked up the stone vat and animal hide and ran to the bedroom, while Mo Zhou, not to be outdone, swam into another bedroom.

Yu Wanwan smiled and went into the kitchen by herself.

The kitchen had just been washed, and the pots and pans were still wet. Bai Jing stood in front of the stove, using a spatula made of a wooden stick to stir-fry vegetables. In another pot, there was a rice noodle as big as a basketball cooking.

Yu Wanwan went over and found that Bai Jing was stir-frying meat. The meat was already browned and the aroma kept wafting into her nostrils.

Bai Jing took a moment to pat Yu Wanwan's head, then reached over her head and picked up a chili pepper to put inside.

Remembering what Fei Han had once said, Yu Wanwan quickly stopped Bai Jing's hand and took out the chili fruit to throw it away.

"Wanwan, what's wrong?" Bai Jing asked, puzzled.

Yu Wanwan continued to take out the chili peppers from the kitchen cabinet, piled them up, and planned to throw them away together later. She said to Bai Jing, "We can't eat these chili peppers anymore. Fei Han said that eating them will make you stupid."

"how so?"

"I didn't expect that either. Anyway, for our safety, let's not eat it." After throwing away the chili pepper, Yu Wanwan took out the ginger and chili peppers: "From now on, we'll use this as a seasoning."

She picked up the ginger and chili peppers and earnestly explained to Bai Jing, "This is called chili pepper. It's the same as a chili pepper fruit. You have to be careful when you use it so you don't get it in your eyes."

Bai Jing took the bright red chili pepper and nodded.

Yu Wanwan continued, "This is called ginger. It can remove the fishy smell. The meat we used to grill with chili peppers always had a bit of an off-flavor. With this, the meat will taste even better." Remembering something, Yu Wanwan added, "Oh, right, eating a little of this in winter can keep you warm temporarily."

“This is what you need,” Bai Jing said.

Fish Wanwan has no fur and a low body temperature, making her very susceptible to catching a cold.

In winter, while everyone else was wearing tube tops and animal skins, she was wrapped up tightly, which was really inconvenient.

Yu Wanwan smiled shyly, resting her chin on her hand as she watched Bai Jing cook.

Today's meal consists of cooked rice noodle rolls, along with fragrant stir-fried meat and vegetables.

Bai Jing cut up the pink fruit and placed it in front of Yu Wanwan, then gave her a polished wooden spoon.

Stir-fried meat with chili peppers is fragrant, spicy, and refreshing. Add a sip of delicious mushroom soup, and it's incredibly tasty.

Yu Wanwan's eyes were almost squinting as she ate. Seeing the little female eating so happily, Bai Jing's appetite also improved a lot.

Mo Zhou and Fei Han came out of the room after smelling the fragrance.

Mo Zhou was used to such things, but Fei Han was seeing them for the first time.

The little female used a curved object to scoop up water and put it in her mouth, then picked up two sticks and used a strange posture to pick up the meat.

Seeing Fei Han's inquisitive look, Yu Wanwan began to explain: "These are chopsticks and a spoon, which I use to eat. These are bowls and plates for holding food, all made of rice flour."

Fei Han pointed to the pink fruit: "I know that, but I didn't know they turned out like this."

“Of course you don’t know, only Wanwan knows,” Mo Zhou interjected.

Fei Han immediately realized what was going on and looked at Yu Wanwan with admiration.

This is not something she knows; it is the wisdom of Greater China.

Yu Wanwan smiled, changed the subject, picked up a piece of meat with her chopsticks and handed it to Fei Han: "Try it, Bai Jing's cooking is delicious."
