"No one is allowed to touch her!" Bai Jing transformed into a white tiger, his sharp claws whistling through the air as he nearly tore through the chest of the nearest beastman. His roar sent a shiver down the spines of all the beastmen present.
Seeing that Bai Jing remained obstinate, Lu Si threatened, "Bai Jing, do you want to be kicked out of the tribe? You dare to break the rules of the continent!"
"No one can touch my females!"
The outside was noisy, but because of Bai Jing's power, no one dared to be the first to speak up, and the scene became tense for a moment.
Suddenly there was no sound outside, and Yu Wanwan, who was eavesdropping inside, became increasingly worried, as anxious as an ant on a hot pan.
If I were really handed over, wouldn't I be reduced to a breeding machine, with my only value being to give birth, and trapped in this primitive society for the rest of my life?
And what about Bai Jing? What if she gets kicked out because of her? This is Bai Jing's home! How can she drag Bai Jing down with her?
We must find a way to get these people to leave on their own!
But what can we do?
Yu Wanwan was so anxious she was pacing around in circles.
The stalemate at the cave entrance continued; a fight would break out if either of them took a step forward.
Just then, a small female emerged from the cave. She was petite and delicate, her arms barely as thick as the cub's thighs. She coughed incessantly after speaking a few words. Most importantly, this female was incredibly dark-skinned! So dark that you couldn't even make out her features!
"Bai Jing, what happened? Cough cough... Ugh cough cough cough."
"Wanwan, what's wrong?" Bai Jing asked, puzzled, and quickly helped Yu Wanwan up.
"Shh, let me do it," Yu Wanwan whispered in Bai Jing's arms.
Lu Si pointed at Yu Wanwan, his lips trembling as he asked, "Bai Jing, what's this?"
Before Bai Jing could answer, Yu Wanwan grabbed his hand tightly, signaling him not to speak, and then spoke to Lu Si herself: "I just cough cough cough, I'm the female who was rescued that day."
"Huh?" The orcs were stunned, as if struck by lightning: "How can you be so dark!"
Bai Jing, now aware of Yu Wanwan's intentions, laughed and asked, "So what if it's dark?"
The beastmen fell silent.
They can accept being blackened, but they cannot accept being blackened to the point that even their own mother wouldn't recognize them!
The other three orcs immediately considered giving up.
Luce and the Scarred Orc were still somewhat unwilling; at least the other one was female!
Luce said, "Now that the females are out, let's come with us!"
Before she could finish speaking, Yu Wanwan started coughing violently, accompanied by bouts of dry heaving, as if she wouldn't stop until she vomited up her lungs.
They were acting so convincingly that tears streamed down their faces.
Upon seeing this, the beastmen all asked Bai Jing, "Bai Jing, what's wrong with your female? She seems... not well."
This orc was relatively tactful, but a more clueless orc asked directly, "Bai Jing, is she about to die?"
Bai Jing pulled Yu Wanwan into his arms, gently patted her back to help her catch her breath, and replied, "She's just not feeling well."
This doesn't just seem like something's not good; it's clearly very bad!
The orcs all wore expressions of disbelief.
Luce didn't believe it either. He had asked the witch doctor, and the female was perfectly healthy! How could she be in this state?
He said unwillingly, "Bai Jing, are you lying to me? The female you brought back is not this one at all. Where is the real virgin female? Hand her over now!"
"This is the little female I brought back."
"impossible!"
"Lucy." Seeing that Lucy was still not giving up, an orc advised, "Stop making a fuss. There are no other females available."
"Yes, you can count the number of females in the tribe on one hand."
"What if you keep acting up and scare the females even more?"
Despite everyone's earnest advice, Yu Wanwan felt the time was right. She grabbed Bai Jing's hand and urged him to quickly take her back to the cave. If she didn't step in soon, she was really going to cough up her lungs!
Bai Jing took Yu Wanwan back, then came out and said to Lu Si, "The female isn't feeling well right now. I need to find a witch doctor to take a look at her. You can come back later if you need anything else."
The scarred orc pulled Luce away and whispered in his ear, "Let's go. This sickly female might not even survive the winter!"
"Impossible, Bai Jing must be lying to us!" Lu Si was still unwilling to give up.
The scarred orc glanced at the orcs around him, and resentment towards Luce grew in his heart: "If you keep causing trouble, not only will you lose this female, but no female will ever choose you as a mate in the future!"
He pulled hard on Luce, using brute force to drag him out of the crowd's encirclement.
Before leaving, Lu Si glanced at Bai Jing, his eyes filled with resentment and anger.
After seeing off the numerous orcs at the entrance, Bai Jing smiled and returned to the cave, where he saw the little female wiping the dirt off her face with animal skin.
Seeing Bai Jing enter, he immediately asked excitedly, "How did it go? Have they left yet?"
Bai Jing nodded and gently stroked her nose: "Wanwan is so smart, she even thought of this method."
Yu Wanwan chuckled.
No man in any era would pursue an ugly and sick person as his partner.
He smeared his face and arms with charcoal ash, then pretended to be on his deathbed, which successfully scared the group away.
After spending some time in the Beast World, Yu Wanwan's injuries had almost healed, and Bai Jing prepared to take her out to pick fruit.
Bai Jing originally wanted Yu Wanwan to wait at home, but Yu Wanwan said she was a picky eater and insisted on seeing the food herself, so she went out with Bai Jing.
