Chapter Forty-Seven: Ambiguity

Yu Wanwan, who was initially a little embarrassed, no longer felt embarrassed upon seeing the red bird. She hid under Fei Han's wings, took off her cloak, and leaned against the soft, fluffy feathers, enjoying the most comfortable sleep she had had in so many days.

The two stayed in the cave for a few more days. During this time, Fei Han's injuries had improved a lot, and he had also run out of medicinal herbs. Yu Wanwan took this opportunity to suggest going out to find herbs and look for the way home.

Fei Han had no objection to this.

The two first went to prepare food.

Food is hard to find in winter, but luckily, Fei Han has wings.

He first flew up into the sky, found a forest where there was still fruit, and then came back to take Yuwanwan there.

Fei Han tried to get Yu Wanwan to sit on his back, but Yu Wanwan quickly waved her hand, saying, "No, no, isn't it only your partner who can sit on it?"

Thinking about the lie she told to hide her injuries, Fei Han wished she could bite off her own tongue.

"What are you afraid of? If you don't tell and I don't tell, who will know?"

"Is it possible to do it like this?" Yu Wanwan scratched her face hesitantly.

"Stop talking nonsense. Don't you want to go back? Hurry up and come up!" Fei Han said fiercely.

He transformed into a beast and made the fish come at night.

Fei Han's beast form was enormous, and its height was comparable to Bai Jing's. Yu Wanwan found it extremely difficult to climb up.

Fei Han hadn't expected that this petite female would be so clumsy. She bent her head, spread her wings, and Yu Wanwan kicked wildly, even stepping on Fei Han's face before finally managing to sit on the bird's back.

Fei Han: "..."

"I'm all set, let's go!" Yu Wanwan carefully grabbed Fei Han's two tufts of feathers, bent down and hugged his neck tightly.

The little female's soft body made Fei Han stiffen. His displeasure at being stepped on instantly vanished, and he even wished that the little female could take off her shoes and step on him a few more times.

Realizing something was wrong, Fei Han chirped twice, flapped its wings, and flew into the sky.
