Startled, Fei Han stood up from her seat, gently patted her back, and asked anxiously, "Wanwan, what's wrong? Why did you suddenly vomit?"
Bai Jing frowned and silently went to the kitchen to fetch water for Yu Wanwan.
Yu Wanwan was still vomiting and couldn't say a word. She could only wave her hand silently as a response.
Seeing Yu Wanwan vomiting so violently, Fei Han, the successor of the witch doctor, immediately realized that something was wrong, and asked incredulously, "Wanwan, are you pregnant?"
These vomiting symptoms are exactly the same as those of pregnancy, aren't they?
Upon hearing this, Bai Jing, who had just returned with water, was stunned, and a considerable amount of water spilled out.
Mo Zhou, who had just stepped into the cave, almost lost his balance upon hearing this. He quickly swam into the cave, looked at Yu Wanwan, and asked in disbelief, "Wanwan, are you going to lay eggs?"
"Cough cough... I don't know." Yu Wanwan took a sip of water that Bai Jing fed her, washing away an indescribable taste in her mouth.
Several males gathered around Yu Wanwan, with Mo Zhou and Fei Han supporting her on either side, afraid that she might lose her footing and fall to the ground, eggs and all.
Yu Wanwan was unaware of the tense atmosphere among the males in her household. She sat back down, frowned, and rubbed her stomach.
Bai Jing was the first to notice that she didn't feel well and quickly asked, "Wanwan, is your stomach upset?"
Yu Wanwan nodded. She had just vomited, and her stomach felt like it was churning; she was indeed feeling quite uncomfortable.
Mo Zhou placed his hand on her flat stomach, wanting to help massage it but afraid of hurting her, so he held it there without moving.
Seeing that Fei Han, the only one in the family who knew medicine, was still standing there motionless, Mo Zhou said impatiently, "You beast, what are you spacing out for? Hurry up and take a look at Wanwan!"
Once Fei Han was still in shock and disbelief, she snapped out of it and, disregarding Mo Zhou's attitude, quickly nodded and placed her hand on Yu Wanwan's pulse.
Mo Zhou and Bai Jing were both waiting for his results. Seeing that he hadn't spoken for a long time, Mo Zhou was the first to ask, "How did it go?"
Fei Han touched Yu Wanwan's right hand, her expression solemn.
Then he frowned and touched her left hand, remaining silent.
Mo Zhou became even more anxious and asked again, "What exactly happened? Just say something!"
Fei Han released Yu Wanwan's hand, her expression somewhat unpleasant: "I couldn't feel the cub's pulse..."
Bai Jing asked, "What exactly happened?"
Fei Han said, "It might be because the pregnancy is too early, or the baby's position is unstable. The baby might..." He paused for a long time before managing to utter a few words: "It might not survive."
There is another possibility that Fei Han didn't mention: that the cub that Yu Wanwan was pregnant with this time was already dead.
If the offspring cannot be born, it can cause great harm to the female's body.
Upon hearing this, the remaining two males present changed their expressions, looking at Yu Wanwan with a mixture of tension and tenderness.
Bai Jing was the first to react, and he patted Yu Wanwan's head to comfort her: "Wanwan, it's okay, don't worry too much, we will take good care of you."
“That’s right,” Mo Zhou added, “We can always have more children later.”
Fei Han's face was pale, but she still managed to force a smile: "Wanwan, it must be because my medical skills are not good enough. I'll go find the witch doctor now, he will definitely have a solution."
After enduring the scrutiny of several partners, Yu Wanwan finally couldn't help but burst out laughing: "Don't be so nervous, I only threw up because the food was so awful that I couldn't help it."
"What!" the partners exclaimed in unison, their expressions even more bewildered than before.
Fei Han, who was the most tense, collapsed as if all her strength had been drained.
Mo Zhou and Bai Jing also showed expressions of relief mixed with disappointment.
Yu Wanwan realized that she had gone too far with her joke and scared several people in her family. Even the proud Fei Han was able to say that it was because her medical skills were not good enough.
She pursed her lips and said shyly, "Don't be angry, I was just joking."
She was also having a terrible time with the recent atmosphere at home, so she thought of teasing them to ease the tension.
It's said that a joke is only funny if everyone finds it funny, but judging from everyone's expressions, it doesn't seem like they find it funny.
Yu Wanwan tugged at Mo Zhou's hand and asked in a soft voice, "Mo Zhou, you're not angry, are you? I didn't mean to."
Mo Zhou breathed a sigh of relief and patted Yu Wanwan's head: "I'm not angry, I'm just worried about you."
Yu Wanwan then looked at Bai Jing and Fei Han.
Bai Jing shook his head: "I'm not angry."
Fei Han: "No, I was just scared to death by you."
Having received their answers, Yu Wanwan finally felt relieved and rushed into Mo Zhou's arms, hugging him tightly and saying coquettishly, "Mo Zhou, I know you've been unhappy because of me lately. You are both my favorite people, and you're only doing this for my own good. Please don't be angry anymore, okay?"
Hearing the little female's plea, Mo Zhou's heart softened immediately, but he still said, "How could I be angry? What if you don't want me anymore?"
"How could I not want you? You are all the most important people to me!" Yu Wanwan said confidently.
Mo Zhou snorted and made a gesture to push her away: "Isn't Bai Jing the most important person to you? Go find Bai Jing."
Sensing that Mo Zhou was trying to push her away, Yu Wanwan panicked, straddled Mo Zhou, and wrapped her arms and legs around him: "No, you are all the same in my heart, equally important. I can't do without any of you."
Yu Wanwan had never relied on him like this before, and Mo Zhou's heart was about to soar, but he still tried his best to remain indifferent: "Then tell me, if Bai Jing and I fell into the icy river together, who would you save first?"
