Chapter Sixty-One Visit

At night, Yu Wanwan lay in bed, and Bai Jing pulled her into his arms and tucked the animal skin blanket around the little female.

Seeing that Yu Wanwan was still awake with her eyes open, he couldn't help but ask, "Wanwan, what's wrong? What are you thinking about?"

Yu Wanwan sighed: "I was thinking about Mo Zhou and Fei Han. They're always arguing, and I don't know what to do."

Since returning home, the two of them have been arguing constantly, sometimes a little, sometimes a big, and they haven't been able to have a single peaceful conversation.

In the past, Mo Zhou and Bai Jing would sometimes dislike each other, but Bai Jing wouldn't hold it against Mo Zhou, and the two of them weren't very intense. Now that Fei Han has arrived, Mo Zhou is like someone who has suddenly loaded up with ammunition, aiming his cannon at Fei Han and firing hard.

Moreover, whenever they argue fiercely, he likes to drag Yu Wanwan into it to uphold justice for them, just like a preschooler. The noble and mysterious persona filter that Mo Zhou had once created, along with Fei Han's enchanting and handsome beauty, are almost completely shattered.

Bai Jing smiled and reassured them gently, "Don't worry, they're just very territorial."

When it comes to territoriality, Yu Wanwan felt even more helpless.

Orcs evolved from beasts and have a sense of territory, so it's perfectly normal for them to want to mark their own territory.

It's like when I was a kid, we had two cats at home. They would fight whenever they met, and no matter how we tried to train them, they wouldn't listen. Over time, fighting became a habit, and they would even go looking for each other to provoke each other.

Mo Zhou and Fei Han are currently in a state similar to these two cats: one is eagerly provoking, while the other is completely unable to withstand provocation.

If one percent of the time they spend on each other represents actual time spent together, then the remaining ninety-nine percent is spent either arguing or on their way to arguing.

She had originally planned to make a few slingshots to play with today, but aside from going out to collect eggs, she spent the rest of her time advocating for justice for the two males in her family.

Orc females all practice polyandry, with some having dozens of husbands. Aren't they tired of facing the constant clamor of males every day?

Thinking of this, Yu Wanwan rolled over in Bai Jing's arms, propped herself up on her elbows, and asked, "Bai Jing, how do the females here handle relationships between males? Could you teach me?"

Bai Jing stroked the little female's face and smiled gently: "The females will control the males. Once a female gets angry, no male will dare to disobey."

"Huh?" Yu Wanwan said helplessly, "I can't possibly get angry at Mo Zhou and Fei Han every day, can I?"

Not only is she unable to get angry at them, but in fact, Yu Wanwan has never really been angry with anyone in her entire life. Every time she has an argument with someone, she ends up crying in frustration.

To avoid such an embarrassing situation, Yu Wanwan has always been kind to others and avoids those with ill intentions whenever possible, never arguing with them.

Bai Jing thought for a moment and accurately pinpointed the problem that Yu Wanwan couldn't control the males: "You're just too easy to talk to, too soft. Next time, be a little tougher on them."

"Is this the only way?" Yu Wanwan asked listlessly.

Unable to bear seeing the little female unhappy, Bai Jing tried his best to think of a solution for Yu Wanwan: "How about this, I'll take you to see Aunt Heyin tomorrow and have her teach you."

Yu Wanwan nodded vigorously: "Okay."

......

The next day was a beautiful spring day with warm weather and blooming flowers.

Fei Han went out to continue working on her bird's nest, while Mo Zhou had wandered off somewhere and there was no sign of the snake since early morning.

After the meal, Bai Jing, carrying a woven bamboo basket and a rattan bag, along with some pieces of meat as gifts, visited Aunt He Yin.

Bai Jing had previously mentioned that Aunt He Yin lived next door to him.

But in reality, this so-called neighbor is separated by a mountain, a full hundred meters away.

This was Yu Wanwan's first visit to Bai Jing since she arrived on the Beastman Continent. Looking at the gifts in Bai Jing's hands, Yu Wanwan asked nervously, "Bai Jing, do you think Aunt He Yin will like these?"

"Don't worry." Bai Jing patted her head.

As the two were talking, a strange smell suddenly wafted to their noses, both familiar and unfamiliar.

Yu Wanwan was stunned for a moment, but Bai Jing reacted quickly. He covered her mouth and nose with one hand and put his arm around her waist with the other, using the standard posture of a child trafficker to steal a child, and led her away from Heyin's cave entrance.

"Bai Jing, what's wrong?" Yu Wanwan asked, her face full of confusion.

Bai Jing helped her sit down on a large rock and said, "You might not be used to it, let's wait a while."

"What are you not used to?" Yu Wanwan was completely baffled.

Seeing that the little female still looked completely bewildered, Bai Jing couldn't help but tease her: "Aunt He Yin is mating with her partner, do you want to go in?"

Upon hearing the word "mating," Yu Wanwan's face turned bright red, and she finally realized what that smell was all about.

She tugged at Bai Jing's hand and said apologetically, "Since Aunt He Yin doesn't have time, let's go back first."

Bai Jing smiled and explained, "It's okay, the mating season is over now, it should be over soon."

"But, but..." Yu Wanwan was hesitating when Shunfeng, who had just come over, saw her.

He waved to Bai Jing, then walked over with the meat in his hands: "Bai Jing, what are you and the little female doing here?"

Bai Jing nodded to him and said, "We've come to see Aunt He Yin, but they're mating right now, so we're planning to wait a bit before going in."

"Hey," Shunfeng waved his hand, "Let's just go in, it's definitely over by now." With that, Shunfeng walked into the cave.

Seeing this, the two followed.

Shunfeng has come of age. Although he still lives on the same mountain as his beast mother, one is on the front and the other on the back. He is usually busy pursuing Nana and rarely bothers his beast mother unless there is something else to do.

They came to deliver meat this time as well, and happened to run into Bai Jing and his group.

“Mother, it’s me, Shunfeng! I’ve come to see you!” Shunfeng shouted at the top of his lungs.

A handsome orc who looked to be about thirty years old emerged from the cave. Upon seeing Shunfeng's appearance, he couldn't help but scold, "You brat, why are you shouting so loudly? What if you disturb your mother?"

"Father." Shunfeng grinned and presented the meat to his father like a treasure: "I'm here to bring you meat, and Baijing and his female are here too."

Shunfeng pointed to the two people behind him.

Upon seeing Bai Jing, Shunfeng's father's previously cold expression immediately brightened into a beaming smile. When he saw Yu Wanwan, his smile became even more amiable. He completely ignored Shunfeng and led Bai Jing and Yu Wanwan inside.
