Yu Wanwan ran to Bai Jing and opened her arms to protect him behind her: "We're out of food. I need to eat pork every day. The meat that Bai Jing brings has all been replaced!"
The beastmen looked at each other in disbelief. They had heard about Bai Jing trading other prey for pork and knew how precious pork was, but they never expected that this female would be so pampered, wanting to eat pork every meal.
"What do we do now?" one of the orcs asked the middle-aged orc.
The middle-aged orc glanced at the cave and, seeing that it was indeed empty, said, "Let's go."

"Bai Jing, do your females really eat pork at every meal?" Shun Feng exclaimed in disbelief.
This female is far too difficult to raise; even Nana, the daughter of the clan leader, doesn't eat like this.
Bai Jing picked up Wanwan and pulled her cloak tighter: "Little females are delicate, so of course we have to take good care of them."
Shunfeng looked at Yu Wanwan and stammered, "But we can't eat like this every meal."
Fortunately, he didn't pursue this little female any further. What good is beauty if she's not healthy and needs such meticulous care?
Even someone as powerful as Bai Jing was eaten out of house and home by Yu Wanwan. If he were to become her partner, he would be exhausted to death in the forest!

The two arrived at the square.
Although it was called a square, it was actually just an open space. A bonfire was burning in the middle of the open space, and Xing Ji stood to one side with a pile of grain behind him.
Yu Wanwan looked around and noticed that many of the orcs were looking at the chieftain with resentment, clearly dissatisfied with his actions of taking away their food.
Xingji waved his hand, and immediately several orcs picked up the food and distributed it to everyone.
Yu Wanwan discovered that the meat was distributed according to the number of people, and everyone received roughly the same amount. Those with females in their household received a little more, along with various vegetables and fruits.
If someone didn't know better, they might think there was a lot of meat, but after witnessing the beastmen's appetite, Yu Wanwan knew that the amount of meat distributed was only half of what Bai Jing would eat.
That's incredibly stingy!
Sure enough, after the food was distributed, some people were happy, but most were still dissatisfied.
The noise in the square gradually grew louder.
Xing Ji coughed lightly and said loudly, "Winter came early this year, and the tribe's food reserves are insufficient. In order for everyone to get through this winter smoothly, I have to distribute the food in a unified manner."
The crowd quieted down.
Xingji pressed on, saying, "I know many of you are very dissatisfied with handing over food, but as the chief, I must consider the future of the tribe."
After he finished speaking, a loud round of applause suddenly broke out from somewhere.
Then, more and more applause rang out, and Yu Wanwan, not understanding why, also clapped along.

Xing Ji was taken aback by Yu Wanwan's audacity.
After the orcs returned yesterday to report on the situation, he was very skeptical about Bai Jing's food reserves, and even now he still doesn't believe that Bai Jing only has so little food.
However, he heard that Bai Jing was so poor that he had taken his females to the river to catch fish to eat.

The longer they serve, the more experienced they become, and they can serve for a long time until they find a suitable successor.”
Yu Wanwan nodded.
"Although the weather turned cold very quickly this year, we have decided after discussion that the fruit-picking competition will still be held as scheduled. All females are requested to gather at the square at noon five days from now!"
