Yu Wanwan was so dazed by the splashing water that she almost couldn't open her eyes. In her dazed state, she suddenly saw many white tigers gathered on the shore, and among them was a familiar figure of the witch doctor.
In a panic, Yu Wanwan cried out, "Grandpa Witch Doctor, help me!"
The witch doctor looked even more frightened and anxious than Yu Wanwan, who was trapped on the battlefield. Cold sweat poured down his forehead, and his lips were completely bloodless, as if he was about to faint at any moment.
Young orcs joined the battle, and because both Mo Zhou and the giant scorpion were cold-blooded beastmen, and the little female was in Mo Zhou's hands, Mo Zhou became their primary target.
Seeing the white tigers baring their teeth and about to attack without distinguishing friend from foe, Yu Wanwan pointed forcefully in the direction of the giant scorpion and shouted with all her might, "Go and fight that scorpion! Hurry up!"
The males' innate submissiveness to the females made them subconsciously listen to Yu Wanwan's words, and one or two of them rushed to the giant scorpion.
With the addition of the White Tiger Beastman, the situation suddenly turned around, and the Giant Scorpion was no match for him, suffering repeated defeats.
Just as Yu Wanwan was about to breathe a sigh of relief, she saw someone rush over to rescue her after seeing that the scorpion was in trouble, its fangs snapping into the thick snake's body.
Mo Zhou's snake scales are hard; although an ordinary orc can't draw blood from a bite, it can still cause damage.
The giant scorpion, which was originally about to escape, rushed back when it saw the white tiger beastman going to deal with Mo Zhou. The scene suddenly turned into a chaotic battle. Yu Wanwan wanted to speak, but as soon as she opened her mouth, a mouthful of water was poured into her mouth, making her nose burn with pain.
When Bai Jing arrived, he immediately saw that Yu Wanwan in the water was about to ascend to heaven. He didn't even have time to take off his animal skin before transforming into his beast form and joining the battle.
Bai Jing's arrival turned the situation into a three-way standoff, with a bunch of soldiers stuck in the middle, unsure of who to attack, occasionally taking a bite here and a pounce there.
Fortunately, Mo Zhou sensed Bai Jing's protection of Yu Wanwan and was able to avoid harming her during his attack.
He smelled the masculine scent on Yu Wanwan and concluded that it came from this beastman. He figured that this was one of Yu Wanwan's suitors, so he found an opportunity to put Yu Wanwan on Bai Jing's back.
The giant scorpion is attracted to itself, and if it wants to protect the smaller females, it must leave as soon as possible.
At this moment, Yu Wanwan was limp as a noodle, lying unconscious on Bai Jing's back.
Worried about Yu Wanwan's condition, Bai Jing quickly withdrew from the battlefield, and Mo Zhou also left immediately, with the giant scorpion chasing after him.
The war ended rather quickly, leaving the orcs completely bewildered. Only a few secretly followed, wanting to see where they were going.
Yu Wanwan was placed on the ground, and the witch doctor came over to check her condition. He determined that she had choked, so he quickly helped her up and patted her back to try to make her vomit.
Yu Wanwan wasn't completely unconscious, nor did she faint from choking on water. The witch doctor's strength was too heavy and light; one slap almost sent Yu Wanwan flying.
Now, she dared not faint even if she wanted to. She quickly opened her eyes and said weakly, "I...I'm fine."
We can't let her come again, or she'll be gone.
When everyone saw that the little female had woken up, they all smiled and praised, "Witch doctor, your medical skills are becoming more and more superb!"
The witch doctor, flattered by the praise, chuckled and stroked his beard, saying, "Oh, not at all, hahaha, I never expected myself to be so amazing."
Yu Wanwan: "..." Bai Jing transformed into his beast form, and Yu Wanwan sat on his back. Because he was worried that her body had not yet recovered, the group moved very slowly, swaying gently, which was quite comfortable.
All the white tigers were in animal form, except for the witch doctor, who, like Yu Wanwan, sat on the back of a tiger, swaying back and forth.
Seeing the witch doctor's still pale face, Yu Wanwan couldn't help but ask, "Grandpa witch doctor, are you alright?"
The witch doctor shook his head: "I'm not okay, I'm terrified."
The shaman was one of the top three leaders in the tribe and didn't even need to go out of the tribe to hunt. He was a typical pampered character. He was also the one who knew the cruelty of the cold-blooded beastmen the most. Now that he had suddenly seen two powerful cold-blooded beastmen, it was a miracle that he didn't faint on the spot.
Yu Wanwan shook her head repeatedly: "You are too delicate."
The witch doctor snorted, haughtily indicating that he didn't want to talk to you.
The beasts each went home.
Yu Wanwan felt regretful today because she hadn't brought the bamboo back. Before leaving, she wanted to ask the shaman what to do with the bamboo, but he winked at her and she couldn't ask.
The witch doctor was probably afraid that Bai Jing would find out he was taken away, arrested, and then cause trouble for him.
After watching the witch doctor leave, Bai Jing's first question was, "What did the witch doctor take you to do today?"
Yu Wanwan: "..."
"Um?"
Bai Jing stared intently, while Yu Wanwan clutched her animal-skin skirt and whispered, "It's just... I want to weave bamboo baskets, so..."
Bai Jing smiled and pinched Yu Wanwan's cheek, then pinched her soft earlobe.
A large, burning hand is placed on your neck, and the person in question is looking at you with a sinister smile.
Yu Wanwan completely chickened out, desperately hugging Bai Jing's lean waist and quickly admitting her mistake: "Bai Jing, I was wrong, sob sob sob, I'll never run away again, please don't be angry!"
Bai Jing chuckled and put his arm around Yu Wanwan's shoulder.
He wasn't angry with her in the first place, and even if he were, the target of his anger wouldn't be Yu Wanwan.
The witch doctor shivered in his cave.
Bai Jing stroked Yu Wanwan's soft hair and suddenly noticed a red mole on her once smooth right shoulder. Bai Jing's gaze sharpened, and his eyes seemed to gather a storm.
