Wang Ye clenched his fists, took a deep breath, and spoke in a trembling voice, "Wanwan, I have something to tell you. Can you come out with me for a moment?"
His voice was strong yet trembling slightly, and he even stuttered a little at the end.
Yu Wanwan scratched her head, puzzled: "Why are you suddenly bringing this up again?"
His upright posture, booming voice, and clear pronunciation are reminiscent of those during military training, and it's quite jarring to see him like that on Wang Ye.
Fei Han was clearly seeing him like this for the first time and found it quite novel: "Yeah, why are you suddenly acting so strange?"
"Is it...strange?" Wang Ye looked at Yu Wanwan, then at Fei Han, and then back at Yu Wanwan: "Wanwan, I have something to tell you."
"Alright then." Yu Wanwan glanced at Fei Han, then stood up from the bedside. "Fei Han, I'll be back soon."
Why is Wang Ye being so secretive, and even asking her to go out and avoid Fei Han? Is he going to tell her about his relationship with Fei Han again?
Let's not. She still had trouble processing what was said last time, and she struggled for a long time between telling Fei Han and not telling her. If she tells her now, or even calls her out in front of Fei Han, she won't know how to answer Fei Han's questions later.
The two went out onto the balcony.
The wind seemed unusually strong today, and given the 360-degree view they were in, Yu Wanwan's hair was blown into a ferocious, grotesque shape as soon as she stood still.
She held her hair down until the wind stopped before letting it down.
Even so, her hair still turned into a bird's nest, and Yu Wanwan kept combing it with her hands.
