Lan Yin, who had rushed over, stood frozen in place.
The little female in front of me was kneeling on the ground. Her pure white silk dress covered half of her fair legs, vaguely outlining her slender curves. Her thick long hair was draped behind her head, with a few playful strands falling on her cheeks.
The little female had fair skin, and her eyes were like those filled with clear stream water. Her pink lips were slightly parted, and she looked at him like a frightened little deer, which was particularly endearing.
Yu Wanwan stood up, looking somewhat guilty: "Lanyin, what's wrong?"
Lan Yin snapped out of her reverie, turned her gaze to the side, and didn't even dare to look Yu Wanwan in the eye: "Someone is coming. It's dangerous here."
If it weren't for the familiar voice of the little female, he really wouldn't have recognized her. This extremely beautiful little female in front of him was the one he had spent so many days with.
Yu Wanwan took a few steps forward and asked, "Who's coming?"
Her approach made Lan Yin feel as if he were facing a formidable enemy. He quickly took a few steps back, suppressing his violently pounding heart.
Although he was somewhat at a loss in the current situation, it was clear that the safety of the little female was more important.
He frowned slightly, his tone tinged with urgency and worry, not paying any attention to why Yu Wanwan was sitting on the ground or what she was doing.
He took Yu Wanwan's hand and led her towards the sea: "They are the Hot-Blooded Beast Clan. Let's leave here first."
Lan Yin entered the sea, her legs transformed into a fish tail, and she opened her arms to catch Yu Wanwan. The two dived into the seabed, and Yu Wanwan held her breath until bubbles covered her head before she could breathe freely.
"Lanyin, are the orcs that have come a lot of trouble?" Lanyin's expression was unusually serious and solemn, making Yu Wanwan feel that this matter was very difficult to handle.
Lan Yin led her deeper into the water, and when they were a certain distance apart, she put away her serious expression and said, "It's a group of beast soldiers, about a dozen of them."
Normally speaking, their location is actually quite close to the sea. With the seawater assisting his ancestral power, he could handle a dozen or twenty people.
He hurriedly took her away only because he was worried they would find out the little female was with him. More importantly, he didn't want them to fight and hurt the little female.
Shortly after they left, the beast soldiers that Lan Yin had mentioned arrived at the place where they had just been.
They were tall and strong, with an imposing presence, and their steps were synchronized, clearly indicating that they were well-trained.
Strangely, the person walking at the very front of this group was a male orc who was not yet an adult.
This orc, despite being quite young, already possessed an aura far more powerful than that of an adult orc. His expression was cold and stern, and he held a weapon in his hand, giving off an air of unapproachability.
The beast soldiers scattered and searched the vicinity. One of them found the animal skin skirt and seashells that Yu Wanwan hadn't had time to take with her and immediately picked them up.
The underage orc stood on a high place, gazing silently at the surging sea. The sea breeze blew through his hair, and after it passed, a strand of golden hair fell onto his forehead.
"Prince Chu Lin, I found this in the hot water pool over there!"
The underage beastman turned around, and the familiar face was none other than Chu Lin.
The beastman bowed and offered the animal skin skirt and seashells.
Chu Lin picked it up and quickly smelled a familiar scent on the animal skin skirt. Her expression immediately turned even colder: "As expected, it's a cold-blooded beast race."
"So what should we do now?" the beastman asked.
Chu Lin held the leather skirt in her hand, caressing it with lingering affection.
When he chased after her, Yu Wanwan had already been captured, and the scent left at the scene was the unique smell of the mermaid race.
He wanted to find Yu Wanwan, so he had to rely on other forces. Therefore, he returned to the palace, joined the army, and climbed the ranks step by step.
The beastmen couldn't believe that the prince, who should have died, had suddenly returned, and seemed like a completely different person, making him someone they dared not underestimate.
To improve his strength, Chu Lin fought countless duels, getting injured all over, but he always managed to pull through.
Having faced death countless times, Chu Lin has gained the recognition of many people. Those who initially doubted him have begun to acknowledge and support him. He then uses his current status and royal identity to continuously send people to search for Yu Wanwan, but all their efforts have been in vain. In fact, the people he sends out are captured by the merfolk.
The Beast King forbade him to continue the search and called all the beast soldiers back, but how could Chu Lin give up? Even though the Beast King disagreed, he still brought out the beast soldiers who were loyal to him to continue the search.
Even if there are only a few people left, only a sliver of hope, he would never give up.
Persistence pays off. After such a long search, he finally found what Yu Wanwan left behind today.
The scent of her was still strong; she might still be nearby. He had promised to take good care of her, and no matter what, he would find her and bring her back.
Yu Wanwan returned to the seabed once again.
Lan Yin was in a hurry to return to the palace. After bringing Yu Wanwan back, she left in a hurry without lingering.
After washing herself clean, she noticed a strange, greasy, and somewhat smelly odor coming from the seashell-shaped bed she used to sleep on.
She used to sleeping on it without showering and couldn't smell it, but now Yu Wanwan just can't bring herself to lie there peacefully.
She thought for a moment, then changed the dirty sheets and blankets and put on new ones. After making the bed, she tidied up the bubbles, sorted the shells and stones that had been piled up, neatly stacked the clothes and food, put the remaining odds and ends together, and put the coral she had collected last time into a bottle and placed it on the table. She also swept the floor clean.
