Fei Han chuckled and ruffled her hair: "Have you forgotten Mo Zhou's identity? How can you come out now? If you don't believe me, go and take a peek under the tree, but be careful not to let anyone notice."
Hearing Fei Han say that, Yu Wanwan sniffed. Seeing that everyone was putting out the fire and no one was paying attention to her, she hurriedly ran to the tree, thinking that she was well hidden, but in fact she was obviously looking up.
Mo Zhou poked a tiny snake head out from among the leaves and flicked its tongue at Yu Wanwan.
He was overjoyed to see how worried Yu Wanwan was about him. He saw Yu Wanwan rushing inside without a care in the world, almost climbing out of the tree, but luckily Fei Han stopped her.
Amidst the swaying shadows of the trees, Yu Wanwan spotted that familiar purplish-black color. She then touched her chest to calm her anxious heart.
As the fire gradually died down, the innkeeper, who had been wailing incessantly, ran into the ruins. Upon seeing his property reduced to a pile of charred remains, he couldn't help but burst into tears again.
The white tiger orc also went inside, searching for his belongings in the ruins.
They all left the house in the morning, which saved them from disaster.
They were all safe, but all their luggage was gone, and they were left with only animal skin skirts. They didn't know how they would survive in the Beast City.
Fei Han waited outside with Yu Wanwan, not letting her enter such a dangerous place.
After finishing his search, Shunfeng came out and said dejectedly, "All our things have been burned. What should we do now?"
Fei Han didn't seem to care much about those things, and said indifferently, "Just come stay at my place. It's just some animal hides. We can burn them if we want."
Shunfeng was very surprised: "Feihan, you have a house in Beast City?"
He knew that Shunfeng was an orc from another tribe, but he did not know that Feihan had lived in the Beast City before.
Fei Han showed no expression at Shun Feng's surprise, only nodding slightly: "Just come with me."
Just as the group was about to leave, the innkeeper, who had been crying in the ruins, ran out, stretched out his arms, and blocked their way: "No, you can't leave!"
Shunfeng: "Why can't we leave?"
"You must compensate me for my losses."
"What!" Shunfeng exclaimed in shock.
The innkeeper said, "My inn has never been in any trouble. It was burned down as soon as you checked in. You must have offended some enemies, which is why I am suffering the consequences."
Shunfeng said in disbelief, "Boss, we only arrived in Beast City yesterday. Who could we have offended? Your inn was burned down, and our luggage was burned too. We are all victims. How can you turn around and accuse us like this?"
"I don't care." The innkeeper grabbed Shunfeng's hand, plopped down on the ground, and started acting like a rogue.
Shunfeng tried to break free from the hotel owner's grasp, but the owner's hands were like iron clamps, and he couldn't pry them off no matter how hard he tried.
That wasn't enough. Fearing they would escape, the innkeeper sat on the ground and shouted, attracting the attention of all the orcs: "Everyone, come and see! This group of people burned down my inn, and now they're not only refusing to pay compensation, but they're also trying to run away!"
The unsuspecting beastmen, upon hearing his words, began to criticize Shunfeng and his companions.
