Chapter 173 Oh, the Gift

Fang Zong was very considerate of the workers and didn't skimp on money. He ordered good wine and food through takeout, and after thinking about it, he simply invited his parents and their old friends over.

Originally a yacht prepared for my parents, it's now a place of "lights on the water and moon on the shore," where a party can be held right in the middle of the moonlit house, surrounded by countless stars.

"Xiao Zong is quite capable; this yacht must be at sea, right?"

"Aunt Mei is joking. If we can't dredge the river in our hometown, what would I do with it?"

"This is good stuff! Your dad and I won't play mahjong anymore. We'll come over fishing whenever we have free time. Xiao Zong, you won't chase your uncle away, will you?"

"You'll have to ask my dad; his name is on the household registration paperwork..."

The elders praised him highly. After exchanging pleasantries for a while, Fang Zong walked across the water toward the shore not far away. Before he even reached the shore, a look of surprise flashed in his eyes, and he almost stopped breathing.

Li Xiaoran disliked crowds and sat alone on the extended pier.

She wasn't wearing wire-rimmed glasses, her hair was loose, her trousers were flat, and her round, smooth little feet were splashing water.

So quiet, and so beautiful...

Fang Zong patted his chest, took a breath, and walked over to hand the clothes to Li Xiaoran: "A gift."

What gift?

"Children's Day gift".

Upon hearing this, Li Xiaoran's cherry-red lips pursed almost imperceptibly, but she still took the clothes.

"What about mine?" Xue Nuo hopped over, munching on an ice cream cone, and reached out for a gift.

Fang Zong looked at the bag in his hand, reached into his inner pocket, took out the lottery ticket, and handed it over.

"Here you go, five million, that's a sure thing!"

“Uh,” Xue Nuo’s lips twitched.

"Are you sure this is a gift for me?" She took a bite, breaking off half of the ice cream cone, and stared at Fang Zong with a dangerous look in her eyes.

"hey-hey."

"So, when you get married, I'll just give you a scratch-off lottery ticket as a wedding gift?"

"I'm getting married a long time from now."

Thinking of Sophia, Fang Zong stopped joking and handed over the bag of clothes.

Xue Nuo then accepted the gift with a beaming smile, and casually snatched the lottery ticket as well. While trying on clothes, he asked with a grin, "Still thinking about Indian girls? I'm telling you, you haven't even considered the possibility of losing her job?"

"She'll be laid off? Who'll take her place?"

“Sister Xiaoran, answer it!” Xue Nuo said seriously.

"Pfft!" Fang Zong almost stumbled and fell off the pier.

Li Xiaoran glanced at Xue Nuo, shook her head helplessly. She couldn't bring herself to draw her sword and attack Xue Nuo and Fang Zong. Her pretty face flushed slightly, and she changed the subject, saying, "Let's get down to business!"

"Okay!" Xue Nuo took out her phone.

Watching Xue Nuo munching on an ice cream cone and tapping away at the screen with her little fingers, Fang Zong felt an urge to give Xue Nuo a good whack on the head.

But after looking at the page that was clicked, I immediately laughed.

"A hungry demon? How interesting!"

He stroked his chin and said.
