Chapter Forty-Five: The Blood Cave

Fang Zong circled the tank twice, then jumped onto the cannon barrel and squinted to aim inside.

It was pitch black, and I couldn't see anything.

"I'll blast you to death!" Kung Fu Ghost laughed.

Let's look again. Damn it, where are the shells?

Fang Zong sat on the cannon barrel, smiling, and said, "I gave the order that each tank only carries three shells, and they've already run out. You want to fight me? You can make your own shells."

"Then you can't get in either!" Kung Fu Ghost gritted his teeth inside.

"You coward," Fang Zong said quietly.

"I'll just play the coward, what can you do about it?" Kung Fu Ghost continued grinding his teeth.

"I'm a civilized person, so I can very politely bring your mother back to you~~~" Fang Zong said again in a drawn-out tone.

Kung Fu Ghost was about to reflexively curse back when suddenly he stopped grinding his teeth, looked at Fang Zong through the periscope, and found Fang Zong smiling.

There's a murderous glint in his smile!

A smile tinged with murderous intent indicates that the person wearing the smile is angry.

Wait, I'm the one being chased and I'm the one getting yelled at, so why are you the one getting angry?

Kung Fu Ghost stopped grinding his teeth and suddenly had an unbelievable thought—

Could it be that Fang Zong is chasing after me so relentlessly because I cursed him?

Will it yield or not?

It continued looking outside and saw Fang Zong take out his phone and make a call: "Hey, Joan of Arc, have you caught the ghost in the carriage yet, Nami?"

A cool, detached voice came from the other end: "Within ten minutes."

"Okay." Fang Zong nodded.

Ten minutes later, Lin Qiaoyu arrived on time.

She bound Nami tightly with her demonic energy, threw her on the ground, and without saying a word, climbed directly into the tank.

Fang Zong leaned against the armor, touching and looking around.

He had just looked at the cannon barrel and wanted to send some kind of energy into it to burn out the Kung Fu Ghost, but the tank is loaded with ammunition by pulling back the breechblock, and the two sides are not connected when the cannon is not firing.

Fang Zong doesn't know where other things, like ventilation openings, are.

"If I get the chance, I'll have to learn about the structure of a tank." Fang Zong sat on the cannon barrel, lost in thought. At that moment, the tank began to shake violently, moving up and down and back and forth, which made his thoughts wander even more.

Less than a minute later, with a thud, Kung Fu Ghost was thrown out.

"So fast?" Fang Zong was surprised.

“I am a demon, it is not,” Lin Qiaoyu said succinctly.

Fang Zong blinked.

Actually... that's not what I meant.

...

"Dingdang, congratulations to the summoner for a lucky streak! You've obtained Kung Fu Ghost's ability, and your Copper Skin ability has been increased by 1!"

"Double kill! Unlucky streak knows no bounds, touched ghost energy +1!"

"Triblekill! You've gone on a killing spree, nearly going berserk, and now you're dominating the Ghost Realm! Congratulations, Summoner, on your triple critical hit!"

Soon, Kung Fu Ghost completely withered.

It lay limply on the ground, tears streaming down its face, muttering... "In my next life, I'll never curse my mother again~~~"

Fang Zong was very satisfied with the other party's ability to admit and correct his mistakes, so he helped him by stomping on the Kung Fu Ghost, which was now only filled with Yin energy.

He dispersed the smoke and took a step forward. Suddenly, his body made a crisp, machine-like sound.

He clenched his fists, bent his arms, and felt an immense sense of power that brought him immense satisfaction. His whole body felt as if it were made of steel, and a sense of security surged through his chest.

Tap it on the arm; it makes a metallic clanging sound.

"I'm unlucky; I only managed to get the ability six times in total." Fang Zong was not very satisfied.

Upon hearing this, Nami, the ghost in the carriage, almost cried, and even the usually composed Lin Qiaoyu trembled.

They could sense that Fang Zong had become stronger again, and it was a targeted increase in strength. Fang Zong's skin was probably only scratched by ordinary small-caliber pistols.

He's still not quite satisfied?

"This ability is not bad." Ninth Sister's voice entered my mind.

Fang Zong nodded, finding the words quite true. Although his skin was a bit too tough, once his abilities became techniques, it would be like returning to his original state, and his body would return to a normal state, becoming even stronger.

Moreover, unlike actively released sword energy, copper skin is a passive ability.

What was that saying again? Right, 24/7 care for you.

So cool!

Ninth Sister laughed and said, "But copper skin ability is not easy to obtain... I mean, to pick up! The one you got from Kung Fu Ghost this time, when it was alive, it should have practiced something like Iron Shirt. It's rare to see people in America who know this stuff."

"It's nothing," Fang Zong said, not really caring.

It's rare in the US, but it's common in the East. At worst, we can find those who rely on kung fu to act arrogantly and kick down their doors and dig up their ancestral graves!

He told Lin Qiaoyu to take Nami back first, and after thinking for a moment, he headed towards the place where Laura and Nami had come out.

One rule in the game is that after defeating a monster, you must raid its base.

Fang Zong didn't believe that ghosts had a habit of hiding treasures, but there was clearly a more powerful shadow behind these ghosts, so he didn't mind taking a trip.

He wandered around the hillside and found an entrance.

The entrance was filled with vines. After turning several corners, everything became pitch black, like a cramped cave where even the air couldn't circulate, and the hot breath I exhaled landed on my face.

I turned on my phone's built-in flashlight, but I still couldn't see clearly, so I just punched it—bang!

The hard cave wall cracked in a spiderweb pattern and then shattered, but Fang Zong's fist didn't even get a scratch.

At that moment, the wind suddenly picked up, and large gusts of pungent, bloody stench rushed in through the draft.
