Chapter Sixty-Eight: A Deal? No, a Live Chop!

One of them was captured by Fang Zong, and the maids and imps trembled, but none of them dared to run away. In the center of them, a woman dressed in a palace dress, with her face thickly covered in white powder and her lips resembling fresh blood, floated over.

The woman was unharmed; her slender, snow-white feet swayed across the water as she looked down at Fang Zong.

Fang Zong smiled slightly, reached out, and grabbed.

With you standing here, I'd feel bad if I didn't touch you!

Fang Zong grabbed the woman's ankle and pulled her down, dragging her out of the Kuiyin River and into ordinary water.

With his other hand, he casually grabbed a soft mound, and without caring about anything else, he jumped up, stepped on the woman's belly, and started touching it!

"Dingdang, the summoner's luck is off the charts! They got Ghostly Aura +1!"

"Double kill! Congratulations to the Summoner for a lucky streak, getting +1 to Yin Water Affinity!"

"Triblekill! Congratulations to the Summoner for getting two lucky drops in a row! You've obtained the Heart-Devouring Yin Technique manual +1!"

A secret manual? Fang Zong couldn't help but be stunned for a moment.

He had obtained many abilities and skill books from ghosts before, but this was the first time he had ever encountered a secret manual. The ghosts of the Eastern Kingdom had their own cultivation manuals, which explained why they were said to be the most powerful.

Just as he was about to touch the manual again after swatting it away, Fang Zong suddenly exerted force, snapping the female ghost's ankle and tearing her breasts apart.

What kind of damn secret manual is this?!

The Heart-Eating Transformation Technique is actually a cultivation method that involves swallowing the hearts of living people and transforming them into ghostly energy!

Fang Zong recalled a childhood trauma, a ghost story from Shancheng. It was said that in some unknown era, a scholar fell in love with a female ghost, but the ghost was captured by the Ghost King. The scholar chased her into a tomb, and at the edge of a river, he traded his heart for the right to cross it.

The outcome was quite strange. The scholar brought the female ghost out, but because he had lost his heart, he also became a ghost, and a heartless and loveless one at that. Bringing the female ghost out was of no use to him.

Therefore, making deals with ghosts is something only a crazy person would do!

At this moment, the female ghost had already climbed back into the Kuiyin River, her eyes cold and venomous as she stared at Fang Zong.

Looking down at her bulging breasts, her eyes suddenly turned green.

"Want to kill me? Come here!" Fang Zong beckoned.

"Come in if you dare!" The female ghost took a step back instead, continuing to stare.

This guy is too abnormal. He touched himself a few times and his strength dropped by 10%. It's always been ghosts touching people and killing them. How could this guy touch a ghost to death?

"Come in if you dare! Are you even a man?" the female ghost snarled. She was a ghost, and she was vengeful; today was the best day for her to settle scores.

Fang Zong ignored her and stood at the edge of the Kuiyin River, examining the murky yellow water.

It looks like it's just a little disgusting, but it seems a bit different.

Fang Zong sensed that the Kuiyin River was filled with a sinister aura, countless times stronger than the female ghost, but no matter how he looked at it, it had the feel of a ghost.

So he stretched out his finger.

Before he could even touch the water, just above the Kuiyin River, Fang Zong's fingers turned deathly pale, as if his blood and life force had been absorbed and swallowed by the river.

A tremendous force was still pulling at his fingers, trying to drag him into the river and sink him to the deepest part of the Kuiyin River.

"Dingdang, you have been attacked by the Kuiyin River. Your affinity with Yin Water has increased by 1!"

"Dingdang, you have been attacked by the Kuiyin River. Your affinity with Yin Water has increased by 1!"

Two sounds rang out in succession, and Fang Zong's fingers returned to normal. Moreover, his fingers seemed to be immersed in something very special, and his mind and body could fly freely!

"Come in, come in if you dare!" the female ghost continued to yell.

No living person should cross the Kuiyin River. She wanted to provoke Fang Zong into going in; she wanted Fang Zong to die in the water!

However... Fang Zong laughed.

With a slap on the water's surface, it leaped out of the ordinary water and landed on the Kuiyin River, its feet firmly planted on the river's surface.

The water rippled, and his body swayed accordingly.

It just won't sink!

The female ghost: "..."

"Dingdang, you've sensed ghostly energy +1!"

"Dingdang, you've found the Ancient Beauty Makeup Skill Book (White)!"

“Dingdang, you touched the Phoenix and the Hundred Birds Paying Homage to the Emperor…”

Soon, the female ghost was completely emptied. Fang Zong tried to touch a few maid ghosts, but only felt yin energy. He then stuffed all these ghosts into the Yin-preserving wood.

After crossing the Kuiyin River, land appeared ahead, and there seemed to be a narrow and cramped passage on the left.

Without hesitation, Fang Zong cleaved open the passage with a crescent-shaped, snow-white sword aura and strode in.

Then, the view suddenly became clear.

This is an underground palace with walkways, corridors, palace pillars, and an eight-meter-tall statue.

The underground palace was enclosed by a bronze gate. Before the gate stood a colossal stone statue, eight meters tall, burly and imposing, exuding an aura of ghostly power. The giant's eyes were burning with eerie blue flames, like two enormous lanterns, darting about and surveying the surroundings.

Atop the giant stone statue sat a burly figure.

It was a general, clad in chainmail, wielding a dragon-patterned broadsword, his body motionless, like a dead object weathered for thousands of years.

But as soon as Fang Zong arrived, he suddenly opened his eyes, and then his three-foot-long beard fluttered, and he came to life!

"Distinguished guest, your presence is an honor to our humble abode. I am Nangong Sheng, General Zhenyuan under the command of Prince Ning of the Southern Tang!" the ghost general introduced himself.

"If that's the case, then I should call you 'Ancestor'?"

The ghost general shook his head and praised, "There is no order of precedence in learning; those who are accomplished come first. I never expected that after thousands of years, there would still be such an outstanding young talent as you."

Fang Zong glanced at his watch: "Enough with the nonsense, I have other things to do. Let's get straight to the point, who the hell are you?"

The ghost general pondered for a moment, then, realizing he couldn't hide it any longer, said in a low voice, "A wicked ghost who is trapped in the underground palace and will never be reborn."

"Bang!"

With a sudden, loud crash, Fang Zong hurtled forward like a derailed train. The Demon General raised his long sword to block Fang Zong, retreating several steps.

He said urgently, "Although I am not a ghost, what I want to kill most is not the living. We can make a deal. I will let you in, you kill Prince Ning, and I will take my son and run away!"

Fang Zong sneered without saying a word, raised his sword horizontally, and the Drunken Sword drew a crescent moon in the air. The sword energy was as bright as the crescent moon, yet full of killing intent.

What to say? Nothing at all!

He realized at the Kuiyin River that making a deal with ghosts was simply a waste of time and a death wish!

He reached out and grabbed the evil general's shoulder.

"Boy, you've gotten too cocky!" The demon general's face suddenly burst into emerald green flames, his expression shifting from one of eager anticipation to one of ferocious excitement.

He craved to kill the living! He craved to drink blood!

He suddenly reversed his long sword and slapped Fang Zong away!

"Fine, you'd only be courting death if you went in. I was hoping you'd bring more men to wear down Prince Ning's strength before slaughtering you all, but you're too ungrateful and have wasted a few days of your life!" The Evil Ghost General stood firm on the spot, brandishing his long sword, his aura as if he were sweeping away thousands of troops.

At this moment, Fang Zong tumbled to the ground, flicked his sword, and stepped onto the ground with a gait that resembled tracing the shape of a smooth wine jar...

Sword energy rises again!
