Fachen was chosen by the Bodhisattva because of his good looks. His body will be dedicated to the Bodhisattva of Great Unity and Light.

Fasheng also wanted to devote himself to the Bodhisattva, and he had always envied his senior brother.

The telepathic connection that had been making people uneasy just now suddenly stopped.

Chen Yanli's mood not only did not improve, but became even more irritable.

Fasheng kept nagging, flying around behind him like a fly, and even used his cell phone to annoy him.

Taking the opportunity to vent his anger on Fasheng, Chen Yanli felt a little better.

I've searched the first four floors, but there's no sign of the Rabbit Fairy. Now the only places left are the basement and the fifth floor, which I haven't checked yet.

The underground floor is a confinement room and a place for special rituals. The stairwell is locked all year round, and you have to take the elevator to get in.

The little rabbit fairy was too small to touch the elevator button even when he jumped, so there was no way he could go to the basement.

Then he can only be on the fifth floor.

He hasn't come down for such a long time, something must have happened.

One of the two guards on the fifth floor was missing. The remaining guard was wiping his cold sweat and felt like he had seen his saviors when he saw the two men.

He didn't bother to test whether Senior Brother Fachen could hear him as usual, so he just typed on his phone.

Brothers, around noon, there were constant noises in the innermost room on the fifth floor, like something knocking against the wood. We were worried that rats might have gnawed on the things inside, so we sent one of us over to check.

Chen Yanli nodded.

After my senior brother on duty opened the door and went in, the noise inside really stopped. But before he could get out, the group of paper figures suddenly floated over and forcibly squeezed him back through the door.

The door was locked from the inside, and I couldn't open it no matter what I did. I tried to contact him on the phone, but he didn't respond. I told the monk in charge of the temple about this, and he told me not to worry, because he would come out when the Bodhisattva wanted him to.

Chen Yanli paused.

What does this mean?

Is the thing hidden behind the door on the fifth floor really the Bodhisattva of Great Harmony and Light himself?

Monk Fasheng's thinking was not as divergent as his, and he had never thought of this at all.

He thought it was the Bodhisattva's blessing and kept saying, "Amitabha."

Compared with other rooms in the donor's dormitory, the large double-opening black wooden door at the deepest part of the fifth floor is particularly eye-catching, not to mention the two pale paper lanterns hanging at the door.

From childhood to adulthood, Chen Yanli has seen this door many times, but has never entered it.

The closer he got to the gate, the more uncomfortable he felt.

His intuition told him that it was very dangerous inside, and Dahe Guangming, who had never shown his face in public, might really be inside.

The guarding monk took out a spare key and inserted it into the keyhole to indicate that the door was not locked.

It had been opened a long time ago, but was controlled by some force and people outside could not get in.

Chen Yanli grabbed the door handle and pulled it tentatively, but the wooden door didn't budge.

He pushed Fasheng beside him and asked him to come over to listen if there was any movement inside.

With Chen Yanli's hint, Fasheng also vaguely realized that what was hidden in the door might be the Great Light.

As a die-hard fan of the fake Bodhisattva, Fasheng felt that no matter how dangerous the donor's dormitory was, he was only separated from the Bodhisattva by a door, so there was nothing to worry about.

Monk Fasheng happily pressed his head against the door, muttering softly, "Sins, sins, please forgive me, Bodhisattva."

Behind the sturdy wooden door, the screams of the paper man and the feminine laughter of a man could be faintly heard.

Chen Yanli had never seen the Great Unity Light in its true form. He stood there expressionless, continuing to play deaf and dumb. However, his mind quickly pieced together the Great Unity Light's information based on Fasheng's description.

The man had a young voice and a gentle tone.

He could hear the sound of the paper man attacking him, but he couldn't hear the sound of him casting spells.

Fasheng has a fan filter and feels that the Bodhisattva is playing with paper people.

Chen Yanli believed even more that Dahe Guangming was playing with its prey.

A fake Bodhisattva who is a real evil spirit, how could he have any good intentions? Those paper figures that float in will most likely be killed.

Wait, these paper figures were sent by the fat monk to find the rabbit. They all floated into this door, which means the little rabbit is really inside.

Fasheng, who was still clinging to the door, suddenly hesitated and said, "Just now, a paper figurine seemed to have mentioned that there was a dead rabbit here."

The two monks were stunned and turned to look at the rabbit's owner.

There was still no expression on Chen Yanli's face, but the blood in his body had run cold.

Monk Fasheng had a blind admiration for Dahe Guangming, and he began to comfort Chen Yanli.

They said the rabbit must have been killed by those paper figures. Bodhisattva, with great compassion, would definitely save the rabbit.

After about ten minutes, the room finally quieted down.

Even if he wasn't standing close to the wooden door, Chen Yanli could still hear a few screams.

It seems that Dahe Guangming has finally had enough of the cat and mouse game and killed all the paper figures.

The dark wooden door opened automatically and Chen Yanli moved to the side.

Fasheng, a monk standing in front of the door, was about to kneel down and kowtow to the Buddha. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of something inside and subconsciously shouted in surprise, "What kind of monster are you? Why are you…"

The sound stopped abruptly.

A stream of dark and sticky liquid suddenly gushed out from the door and went straight into Fasheng's mouth.

The monk's originally fair skin began to darken at a visible speed. Drops of black liquid emerged from his body, staining his robes black.

Fasheng's eyes widened in disbelief, and a gurgling sound came from his throat. He wanted to cover his mouth, but found that he couldn't lift his arms at all.

The guard monk standing next to him was in the same situation as him. Only Chen Yanli, who was hiding behind the door and peeking, was not attacked.

The two monks were covered in black liquid from the inside out, and a strange smell emanated from their bodies.

Chen Yanli sniffed.

Is it Mo?

It's not the scent of ground ink, but the scent of modern fountain pen ink. Its elegant fragrance is mixed with a pungent smell of chemicals.
