Chapter 24 Contract

"If you don't like my nephew, make him give up as soon as possible."

This was a sincere request from him as an uncle, not a request from his boss.

"I will."

Jiang Xi nodded. She raised the contract, her eyes narrowed into a crescent again, and her tough demeanor softened immediately: "It's a pleasure to work with you."

“It’s a pleasure to work with you.”

Shake hands and go out.

Lu Hao waited eagerly outside the door, and when he saw her come out, he went to greet her: "Xiaoxi, I'll take you home."

"No."

Jiang Xi said coldly: "I called a taxi."

Lu Hao forced himself to smile: "Then be careful on the road."

"Okay, bye."

Jiang Xi said goodbye very bluntly, even more enthusiastically towards Tang Gu than Lu Hao, with a smile on his face: "Goodbye, boss."

Seeing that everyone had gone far away, the nephew was still staring at him and refused to let go. Tang Gu couldn't help but pat him on the shoulder: "Haohao..." He wanted to be venomous to his nephew but couldn't use it. He just felt that the young man who was always full of vigor and vitality looked... a little pitiful.

Lu Hao then lowered his voice: "Han is telling you that I will wait for you to drink when I meet you."

"Who is that person?"

Tang Gu sighed: "Anyway, it's beyond our reach at this level. If he comes, you just take him; if he doesn't come, we can just enjoy it on our own." No one can figure out that man's temperament at any time.

"Come on, I'll take you for a drink."

When Jiang Xi returned home, her father and mother were standing in the hallway waiting for her with their eyes wide open. She couldn't help but complain:

"My daughter won't get lost again. Please be patient, okay?"

Jiang's mother laughed dryly. Jiang's father touched his nose, looked at his daughter's complexion, and asked cautiously, "Has the contract been signed?"

"Signed."

Jiang Xi patted her schoolbag, and her mother finally smiled. The wrinkles at the corners of her eyes seemed to have disappeared. "Xixi is amazing!"

The two men who usually praised their daughter followed Jiang Xi into the house.

After eating and washing up, Jiang Xi installed all the stands and microphones that were standard equipment in Tanggu Studio. Now all he needed was a computer, and everything would be ready.

When Tang Gu signed the contract, he added a few clauses considering Jiang Xi's status as a high school student. Jiang Xi did not need to rush to the studio every day like other anchors. It was enough for him to live broadcast at home for two hours every night - but he still needed to go there on weekends.

Jiang Xi thought about the clauses and opened the textbook while doing his job.

A dreamless night.

When Jiang Xi entered the school gate the next day, Lu Hao was already waiting there.

She ignored him, and Lu Hao followed her.

Jiang Xi didn't understand why the arrogant boy in his memory had become like this. During the break, he asked Lu Zhuer about it. She slammed the table and said with a smile, "Are you showing off or not? Everyone knows that Lu Hao is arrogant. He's used to having everything go his way, that's it..."

She raised her chin, pointed at Chen Jing, and said in a low voice, "You didn't notice a few days ago, but she passed a love letter to someone again, and it was thrown into the trash can on the spot. I heard she cried all night."

Jiang Xiqing looked at her coldly, and Lu Zhuer couldn't tease her any more. "Lu Hao can't bear to part with you, right? Isn't the saying "loyal dog, little wolf dog" popular now? He called me last night and asked me, and I said it."

"Don't make that joke again."

Jiang Xi was very determined: "There's no chance for me and him."

As she was speaking, someone rushed in from the door. Sun Ting looked at him carefully and said, "Liu Shengsheng, why are you coming to our class instead of staying in your class two?"

The second year of high school has not yet been divided into classes, and there are only two key classes. The students in Class One and Class Two have been at odds with each other for a long time. They are like two kings who never meet, but they will get angry when they meet.

Liu Shengsheng ignored him and rushed to Jiang Xi's desk, pulling her away and trying to run: "Jiang Xi, go and stop them! Lu Hao is fighting with someone!"

Jiang Xi shook him off: "What does his fighting have to do with me?"

"You, you—" Liu Shengsheng was confused, and when he reacted, his face immediately turned red with anger: "If others hadn't gossiped about you, why would he fight with others?"

Jiang Xi said calmly, "It's going to rain, and my mother is going to get married. I can't say that much."

"You're so cruel!"

Liu Shengsheng was about to say something, but a glance from Jiang Xi's beautiful eyes stopped him from saying anything. He was distracted and thought: Such a fairy sister, no wonder Lu Hao couldn't bear to let her go. If it were him, he would also...

Liu Shengsheng walked out of the door, taking one step at a time. Before he even stepped out of the first class door, he heard a voice from heaven: "Wait, I'll go with you."

He turned around and saw Jiang Xi, who had just been adamant about not giving in, suddenly stood up, followed by two great Vajras, walking out together.

"Xiaoxi, why did you suddenly change your mind? Did you soften your heart?"

Lu Zhuer tilted her head and looked at her.

Jiang Xi didn't say anything, but Fatty Tang's instructions to him at that time were echoing in his mind unconsciously. Die...?

A group of people stood up in unison and walked towards the corridor in a large group.

There was already a melee downstairs.

Lu Hao from Class 2 was the treasure of the class. When he started fighting, the entire Class 2 rushed forward. The class opposite them was Class 13, a well-known transfer class in No. 1 Middle School. Each of them was a stubborn person who would never admit defeat. By the time Jiang Xi went down, the fight between the two sides had already ended.

"Lu Hao!"

Lu Hao was holding the man down, and just as he raised his head, he was punched in the face.

In the distance, a group of people were walking towards the teaching building at the fork in the road.

The principal, the dean of studies, and the heads of various departments all gathered around one person, smiling and praising him. "Back then, your mother was a renowned stunner at our No. 1 Middle School. She was even published in the Shanghai Municipal Newspaper. Teacher Zhu, right?"

Teacher Zhu, a veteran teacher now serving as a department head, nodded and said, "Yes, I still remember. Mr. Han is a man of deep gratitude. We are all very grateful for your generosity in bringing us better school buildings and a better environment."

Han Chen looked at the surging crowd from afar, his eyes narrowed:

"You're welcome, Principal. This building is in memory of my mother. I'm very excited to be able to contribute a little to such an excellent No. 1 Middle School."

"Don't worry, Mr. Han. Our students are absolutely excellent in both character and academics. We have never been involved in group fights..."

The principal was halfway through boasting when he looked blankly at the crowd in front of him that was in a mess, wondering: Why did they start fighting?

Han Chen put his hands in his pockets, curled his eyes at Jiang Xi who was walking towards him with a cold face, and smiled brightly: It turns out that the little angel has not grown up yet.

There's someone familiar here.

Han Chen smiled and waved his hand towards the bruised Lu Hao: "Hi, kid."
