Chapter 120: The Forbidden Zone Rules Set You Free
-
In my dream, I felt someone taking off my clothes. The person's hands were very hot and smelled of a pleasant perfume. I couldn't tell if it was reality or a dream.
She didn't know how much time had passed when she opened her eyes and looked around. The surroundings were unfamiliar, and she felt a little wary, but the people there were familiar. "Shen Yueze, what are you doing…"
His clothes were left on the carpet, leaving only his underwear, which he was skillfully unbuttoning with one hand.
Before he fell into a coma, he was still at the club. There were many people there, including Chen Jiabai and him. Although it wasn't exactly harmonious, it wasn't to the point of fighting either. They weren't talking to each other, which meant their relationship had really soured because of her. He hadn't drunk much. Shen Kuo's girlfriend, Jing Yao, was very gentle and asked him with concern if he was feeling unwell.
He's in a car now, but not one of the ones he usually drives.
My body is reacting in a strange way right now. I can't tell if it's uncomfortable or comfortable. I really want it. My mind is full of images from before when we were in bed. I thought it was because I was dreaming.
Once his thinking ability returned, he quickly realized, "You drugged me?"
"Keep your voice down. Even though it's soundproof, there's still someone in front of us. Let's not make too much noise."
She almost lost control and couldn't help but yell at him, "Are you even human? How could you drug me..."
"How long will this medicine last? It won't last all night, will it?"
It was pitch black outside, and she couldn't tell what time it was. The partition in the car was raised, so she couldn't see the driver in front of her. She felt ashamed and tried not to make any noise, but Shen Yueze seemed to be deliberately provoking her, forcing her to speak.
"The soundproofing is quite good; you can't hear normal conversation."
He does this kind of thing very openly, without any intention of restraining himself.
Wen Yining wondered how he could spout such lewd remarks with such a cold face, without any sense of shame.
"Where are we going now...where are you taking me?"
“My dad wants me to go to Hangzhou for a while. You don’t have any acting roles either, so come with me.”
"I don't want to go."
He almost cried out as soon as he managed to squeeze out a breath; he did it on purpose.
Wen Yining bit his shoulder, trying to awaken his conscience.
"You have to go, whether you like it or not. If the drug doesn't work, we'll tie you up."
"You've broken the law, do you know that?"
He said nonchalantly, "Okay, then go ahead and sue me."
She had heard that his father's company headquarters were in Beijing and Hangzhou, but she had never met his family. Apart from his eldest brother, she had never even seen a picture of the others.
Afterwards, he draped a blanket over her, lit a cigarette, and his neck and shoulders weren't much better off than hers, covered in red marks—the ambiguous traces clearly indicating what had happened.
She lay down on his lap to rest, pulling the blanket over her body. The air conditioner was set low, and the cool air felt on her skin, leaving her powerless to resist.
She asked, "How long will it take? It can't be too long, you know that."
Large casting studios, including all the nation's entertainment resources, are based in Beijing, giving them a monopolistic position.
Only Beijing can simultaneously combine capital, implementation, execution, and continuous output.
He didn't plan to develop his career elsewhere after graduation, so I was a little worried that he would have a relapse, but there's nothing we can do when a Celestial Dragon has a relapse, let alone imprison him.
Even if someone commits murder or arson, they can still get out. Chen Jiabai's father is the deputy mayor and the director of the Public Security Bureau. She doesn't believe that Chen Jiabai could be arrested if she broke the law.
He said, "At most half a month, and in the end, you'll stay with me for half a month."
"What's the meaning?"
She asked.
"When the time comes, I'll set you free."
A strange, indescribable feeling suddenly welled up inside her, weighing heavily on her heart.
"You really think that way? Then why did you send me that kind of message? Didn't you not want me to get back together with Chen Jiabai?"
“After you go back, you can get back together with whoever you want, whether it’s Feng Yan, Chen Jiabai, or Boss Peng.”
"..."
"But during this time, you have to be obedient and don't cause me any trouble. Don't say anything when you see my dad or my brother. Just do whatever I tell you to do."
"Do I still have to see them?"
Wen Yining sat up from his lap and straightened up. "How are you going to introduce me? By the way, I remember your older brother didn't want you to be with me, right?"
Last time at the hospital, Shen Qiyan's attitude was obvious in just a few words of conversation, but Shi Yingmeng was different. She probably felt that that kind of girl was easier to control.
After getting out of the car, she put on her clothes, wearing his flight jacket over them. Seeing the driver helping her with her luggage, she said, "Where are my things? I didn't bring a single piece of clothing? What time is boarding? Why didn't you tell me in advance? It's not just three or four days, it's half a month. I can't just leave without anything, without clothes or daily necessities."
"Buy it when we get there."
"I thought you were going to take me on a private jet."
"I can't afford it."
Wen Yining took a nap up there, and when she woke up, they had already arrived.
The house is decorated in the style of a Chinese garden, with a large courtyard, a main building, and an auxiliary building.
A strange woman came out; she was very well-dressed and not very tall. "You're here so early? I thought it would be noon. Hey, have you had breakfast yet?"
He said, "Call her sister-in-law."
She was a little confused. "Hello, sister-in-law."
Gu Yucheng smiled and said, "My girlfriend? She's very beautiful."
"My name is Wen Yining, you can just call me Ningning."
Shen Yueze continued, "If you have time, take her out shopping. We didn't bring her luggage over."
"Sure, I'll take you shopping for clothes. You haven't graduated yet, right? When are you going back?"
"School starts in a few days, let's see how he does."
Wen Yining seemed to listen to everything Shen Yueze said, taking it all to heart. If this was their last chance to be together, why leave behind bad memories? Couldn't they just part ways amicably?
Shen Yueze didn't stay at the villa; he went straight to find Shen Zongjun and then transferred some money to Wen Yining, saying, "Gu Yucheng probably won't let you spend any money, so save it."
Wen Yining was in a luxury store at the time, and Gu Yucheng enthusiastically picked out items for her without even asking the prices, buying a whole bunch of things.
"This is the first time I've met his girlfriend, Ningning. Don't be shy. Just tell me what you want to buy. His older brother's supplementary card is with me, so you don't need to worry about the price."
Wen Yining smiled, too embarrassed to say that they would be separating soon. "Sister-in-law, I already have one of these bags at home. Actually, I don't really like buying luxury goods."
"I thought he was a rich kid who changed girlfriends very quickly. His older brother grew up with him and is the most qualified to speak on this matter. He also said that he has never seen him bring a girl home. So, the level of importance he places on this is obvious."
After accompanying her shopping, Gu Yucheng found a restaurant and ate with her while chatting.
Wen Yining felt that this person was very easy to get along with. Even though they had never met before, the atmosphere was very harmonious, like they had known each other for a long time. There was no sense of distance between them, just like with Xiang Yumin.
She noticed the diamond ring on her sister-in-law's ring finger and asked curiously, "Are you and my brother married?"
"I'd say it's an engagement. He's too busy to plan the wedding right now. By the way, Gu Yucheng said expectantly, 'If you have time, why don't you help me choose a wedding dress? We've been agonizing over this for a long time.'"
She didn't notice the dejection in Wen Yining's eyes; she was in high spirits.
Wen Yining wasn't disappointed, "Sure."
But what I really thought was that we would probably have separated long ago by then.
When she got home that evening, the three men weren't there yet; only the maid was there. She asked her about her food preferences, what fruits she wanted, and what she wanted for breakfast, taking very good care of her.
Gu Yucheng said, "They have social engagements and will be back late. They'll have to drink. If you're sleepy, just go upstairs and sleep. If you're not sleepy, come with me to see a movie."
There was a separate audio-visual room, almost like a small movie theater, complete with massage chairs and a large screen. The aunt prepared snacks for the two of them, and Gu Yucheng poured her some red wine.
None of the expected situations occurred. After things calmed down a bit, I started to feel sleepy halfway through the movie. My phone started vibrating, and Shen Yueze sent me a message.
I'll be home soon.
[Take off all your clothes and wait for me on the bed.]
Wen Yining glanced at Gu Yucheng, but her attention was focused on the movie, and she didn't see the message on her phone.
So she replied, "You brought me here just to sleep with me? You just need a sex toy, don't you?"
Then she asked, "Is Uncle coming back too? How should I tell him? Won't he ask you?"
What I really want to ask is whether his father will disagree, after all, there was the previous incident of being taken to the police station, and the fight with Chen Jiabai, the trigger for which was her. Even if they haven't met, he must have heard of her existence.
She didn't receive any more messages after that. About ten minutes later, her aunt came to call her out.
She tidied her hair and makeup beforehand, checked her clothes to make sure they were appropriate, and changed into a long dress that Gu Yucheng had chosen. She tied her hair up with a hair tie, keeping it low, and her clean-cut features gave her a gentle and refined look.
Gu Yucheng said, "Ningning, don't be nervous. His father is very interesting and has no airs at all. Don't think of him as so scary. Actually, I think his father is much better than my mother-in-law. He doesn't interfere too much with their decisions."
"Okay, then come out with me."
Wen Yining was worried that this bastard would say something blunt again.
Upon entering the living room, just as I was about to greet him, "Uncle," my expression froze for a moment after seeing his face clearly. I stood there, stunned. This man looked familiar; I'd seen him at the golf course—
Shen Yueze introduced the two, "Wen Yining."
Shen Zongjun was not surprised. He just looked at her calmly and waited for her to speak first.
Her throat tightened, and she said hesitantly, "Hello, Uncle."
"Hello."
Shen Zongjun inquired about the situation, asking, "How long have you been talking?"
Shen Yueze replied, "Not long."
He looked at her face and asked, "What's wrong? Have we met before? Why are you so nervous? My dad doesn't eat people."
Wen Yining remained silent, only drinking her tea quietly.
Shen Zongjun came to her rescue, saying, "It's easy to have trouble sleeping if you drink too much at night."
She put down her teacup, unsure of what to say. She looked up at the calm and composed man in his casual suit, his face still so young and refined. He didn't look like a middle-aged man with a son in his twenties at all. She thought his child was at most ten years old. He showed no signs of fatigue or the marks of time.
"It's getting late, let's go upstairs and rest."
She probably knew her son was just playing around, so she didn't bother asking too many questions.
Wen Yining seemed to have no intention of exposing him, and silently breathed a sigh of relief. If word of his golf-playing experience reached Shen Yueze's ears, who knows what he would think.
He had only been to the club twice, and by sheer coincidence, he ran into his father.
...
Shen Zongjun lives alone on the first floor, while Shen Qiyan and his room are on the second floor. The housekeeper had already prepared everything in advance, including pajamas and daily necessities.
Wen Yining returned to her room, her heart still pounding. Her tense state was so obvious that Shen Yueze noticed it. "What are you worried about when you see my dad?"
He asked, amused, "Are you afraid he'll force us to break up?"
"no."
The bathwater was already prepared. Wen Yining smelled alcohol on his clothes and knew how much he had drunk at his social gathering that day. "Have you brought any girls home before?"
He deliberately said, "I'll pass by."
"Your sister-in-law said no."
He unbuttoned his shirt with one hand, took it off, and ordered her, "Come wash with me."
"I've already washed it, no need, you wash it yourself."
She doesn't like doing it in the bathroom; it's tiring, and there are his elders at home, so she's not very comfortable doing it there.
Shen Yueze didn't insist and went straight into the bathroom.
