"So you want to do things without doing anything! Then just continue to be a gang boss!" Blair said.
Ribs sighed. "Oh, I don't understand! I'm a councilman, how come I'm not as good as a gangster boss?"

"Shabby! Damn shabby!" said Reeves. "I just want to stand and get things done!"
Blair shook his head and said seriously, "That can't be done..."
Reeves reached into his suit pocket, actually pulling out a pistol from his Quick Items, slammed it on the table, and asked, "Can this get you anywhere in Chicago?"
Blair was shocked. He didn't expect that Ribbs could bring a gun into the parliament.

Ribs pointed to the parliamentary medal and said, "Can you get things done with this medal?"
"It can be done, but you have to kneel down and look at the Daly family's face," Blair said.
