Chapter 245: Forget tonight. If you want to live, shut up forever.

Up ahead, Eberhart was pulling his mistress and crawling towards a small helicopter.

Hearing Reeves' roar behind him, he was terrified! The fear of death was like ice water pouring over his head! Almost subconsciously, out of complete instinct, he fiercely threw the blonde beauty who was holding him and blocking Reeves backwards!

"No!!!!" the woman screamed in terror.

Eberhardt's last hope was the starting rotor. Only one thought remained in his mind: Take off! Take off!

Reeves didn't even look at the woman who fell to the ground with half of her butt exposed.

The flames of revenge and cold murderous intent burned in his chest, with only one target - Eberhart!

The roar of the engine was right in front of him, and the strong wind stirred by the rotor of the small helicopter swept up grass clippings and the smell of blood. Eberhart had just grabbed the handle of the cabin door.

Reeves, Reeves was filled with the terrifying power granted by [Strengthening the Body], and kicked Eberhart's lower back with his right leg!

“Ugh—!!!”

Eberhardt let out a scream and completely lost his balance like a torn sack thrown by a catapult. He flew sideways out of the cabin door and hit the cold and hard ground of the apron.

"Poof!" A mouthful of salty and fishy taste instantly gushed out, and several teeth, accompanied by blood foam, splattered from his twisted mouth. The excruciating pain made his vision black out, and he could only curl up and whimper in pain and retch.

He struggled to raise his blood-stained eyes, and what he saw was a scene that terrified him—

The young mercenary driver didn't even dare to look back at his employer who was kicked away!

He didn't even bother to close the cabin door, and staggered but resolutely accelerated, fleeing madly towards the deep night sky over Lake Michigan!

"No... stop... wait for me! Bastard!!!" Eberhart roared in despair, blood constantly flowing from his cracked lips.

He reached out in vain to grasp at the receding helicopter, his only hope of escape, which had now become a heartless, shrinking point of light.

The sound of the huge propellers quickly faded away, leaving behind a silence shrouded in death and despair.

All he could hear were his own heavy, painful breathing, and the sound of boots stepping on the tarmac behind him, like the footsteps of death, clear, slow, and with the force of crushing all bones.

Da…da…da…

Every step felt like stepping on Eberhart's collapsing heart. He struggled to get up, but the pain and fear made him paralyzed, and he could only hold up his upper body with difficulty.

The firelight from the Silver Lake Resort reflected on Ribbs' face, half bright and half dark.

Eberhart finally clearly felt the core essence of this man who crawled out of the bloody mire of the streets of Chicago - complete control and destruction.

Reeves did not take action immediately, but just looked down at Eberhart on the ground.

The latter's lips were trembling, his teeth were chattering in the cold, his silver hair was messy and covered with blood and dirt, and the face that once called the shots on Wall Street and the Pentagon, always with a wise smile and elegance and composure, was now twisted with severe pain and utter despair.

The laziness and arrogance that he had in the monitoring room just now, which showed that he was in control of everything and treated Ribbs as a lamb to be slaughtered, was completely shattered.

He was now just an old dog lying in the dust, waiting for his final slaughter.

Ribs slowly bent down, grabbed Eberhart's shirt collar, and dragged him up from the ground like a dead dog, until his toes could barely touch the ground and his neck was almost suffocated.

Eberhardt's eyes were full of pleading, trying to grasp the last ray of hope: "Reeves! Wait! Listen to me! Harold... Sterling... They are the masterminds! I... I can help you! General Dynamics... resources... money... all for you... please..."

There was no trace of emotion in Ribbs' eyes.

Eberhart's pleas for mercy and Morgan's dying excuses all sounded to him like a sickening hypocrisy.

"Forget it, old man."

Before he finished speaking, Ribs's inhumanly strong arms suddenly exerted force! The terrifying power granted by [Strengthening the Body] instantly erupted!

Eberhart was thrown up, "Ugh--!!!"

Just when Eberhart's body reached the highest point and was about to start falling, Reeves' right leg kicked out sideways as swiftly as a steel whip!

"Bang!" The dull sound of impact was clearly audible!

Eberhart's body drew an arc and flew straight to the edge of the third-floor terrace of the main building of the manor!

“Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!! Puff—clang!”

Eberhart fell directly off the terrace and hit the roof of a luxury car parked downstairs, making a dull and harsh metallic sound.

The second so-called "big boss", the emperor of General Dynamics, has now turned into a pool of blurry meat outside the tarmac.

Ribs slowly retracted his leg, the adrenaline was fading and severe pain began to attack from every corner of his body.

He looked down and checked himself:

The gunshot wound on his left shoulder was blocked by the bulletproof vest and did not penetrate, but the kinetic energy of the bullet caused severe bruising and tearing, which was now burning with pain; there were several cuts on his right arm and back caused by stray bullet fragments, and the blood that seeped out soaked his torn combat uniform; the impact of the previous plane crash also caused a dull pain in his internal organs and bones, and his body was covered with abrasions and burns.

These wounds need to be attended to as quickly as possible.

[Quick Recovery] flashed through his mind - a system skill that required specific "communication" to activate.
