"Fire! Fire! Kill him!" The terrified roar of the special agent team leader echoed in the porch space.
Dadada! Dadada!
The agents inside and outside the door opened fire simultaneously! MP5 submachine gun and rifle bullets poured in like a torrential rain!
Sparks flew, sawdust flew everywhere, and the desk was instantly riddled with holes! The bookcase glass shattered, and documents and papers flew like snowflakes in the hail of bullets!
However, while Reeves was firing, his body had already fallen to the side and rolled like a ghost!
He used Sterling's heavy, solid mahogany desk as cover, bullets hitting the surface with a heart-pounding thud. He rolled over, knocking aside the leather swivel chair behind the desk. He had already retreated to a relatively safe corner on the side of the desk, avoiding the main line of fire from the door.
"The target is hiding behind the desk!", "Damn it! Armor-piercing bullets! We need armor-piercing bullets!"
The agents shouted and adjusted their positions, trying to flank the firing point.
Ribs held his breath, and took advantage of the brief interval between reloading to suddenly stick half of his body out from the corner of the table!
Woo-da-da! Woo-da-da!
Two more accurate and deadly bursts of shots were fired again!
An agent who had attempted to flank the group through the side hallway collapsed to the ground, clutching his pierced neck as blood gushed from his fingers. Another agent, who had rushed to the plush sofa to try and take cover, was struck by a bullet and trembled violently, collapsing onto the couch.
The room was filled with the pungent smell of gunpowder, the strong smell of blood, and the smell of burnt furniture.
Room 101, which once symbolized supreme power, has now become a hell on earth.
Agents outside the door are still pouring into the passage; more reinforcements must be on the way.
Reeves knew that his bullets would eventually run out.
Although the hunt for Sterling was successful, the battle had only just begun. If they wanted to survive, they had to fight their way out of here.
