In the interrogation room of the Inglewood police station.
Jerry looked at the black man who was in a daze across the table and asked coldly, "You are Raymond, the boss of the Python Gang, right?"
Raymond has now calmed down and regained his arrogant state, and replied directly:
"So what if I am, and so what if I am not? You are making an illegal arrest! Where is my lawyer? I want to speak to him!"
Jerry is a veteran in the police station, not a rookie officer. He has plenty of ways and means to deal with this situation.
Jerry slowly took off his clothes, hung them on the camera behind him, then turned around and said, "Okay, you want to talk to a lawyer, right?"
Raymond still didn't understand what Jerry meant.
Suddenly, Jerry hit him with a straight punch in the face.
"Hou Lixie!" Raymond's left eye immediately swelled up and he couldn't even open it. He yelled in the interrogation room, "Fuck! The police are beating people! American police are beating people! I want to see the chief, I want to see the chief! I want to report you!"
At this point, Raymond knew that even if he was arrested, he still had Director Michael as his umbrella. As long as he saw the Director, he would be fine.
It's just a matter of spending some money! As long as you have connections and the support of a big boss, even if you're imprisoned, you can still control the outside business. You can still make money and dance.
It was obvious that Raymond didn't take the little Sheriff Jerry seriously at all.
"It seems you still don't understand the situation!" Jerry said, took out an electric shock device from his waist, and slowly approached Raymond.
"Wait! What are you going to do?" Raymond was so scared that he shrank back and fell to the ground.
"Nothing, just let you taste my methods!"
Jerry aimed the stun gun at Raymond's thigh and pulled the trigger directly.
Sizzle! Sizzle!
The electric current ran through Raymond's whole body. He straightened up instantly, his face was hideous, and his whole body began to tremble with spasms.
With a voltage of 120V, Raymond rolled his eyes and drooled in just two seconds.
Jerry lifted Raymond up from the ground and put him back on the chair. "How was it? How did the electric shock feel? Can you talk properly now?"
Raymond slumped in his chair and nodded weakly.
Jerry then took off the clothes covering the camera, put them back on, and asked, "Are you Raymond, the boss of the Python Gang?"
Raymond nodded: "Yes...ah no no...I am Raymond, not the boss of the Python Gang..."
"Well, 1.5 kilograms of flour, 3.6 kilograms of marijuana, and a large number of firearms were found in your apartment. You were the one who ordered all of this, right?"
"What?" Raymond shook his head. "I don't know about that!"
"Raymond, although you didn't directly participate in the criminal activities, according to the Anti-Racketeering and Corruption Organization Act, you are the actual controller of the Python Gang. We can still send you to jail."
"These things have nothing to do with me. I want to see your director... I only want to talk to the director..." Raymond said.
"Haha, are you still counting on Director Michael to save you?" Jerry said with a smile, "I've already submitted the report against him to State Attorney Jennifer. I guess you probably won't see the director anymore."
When Raymond heard this, he seemed to realize that this matter was not simple, and his momentum suddenly weakened.
In fact, Jerry was just going through the motions in the interrogation of Raymond. He already knew about Raymond's situation.
After asking a few simple questions, Jerry stood up and left the interrogation room.
Before leaving, he asked a police officer he trusted to keep an eye on Raymond and not let him come into contact with anyone else.
Jerry took a group of people with him and, armed with a search warrant that had been prepared long ago, headed straight for Raymond's villa on Lake Michigan.
From Raymond's villa, Jerry found a large amount of cash, flour, marijuana, some of the "mint candies" that had appeared before, and a large number of illegal firearms.
These things alone, plus the charge of organizing a gang, are enough to put Raymond in jail for the rest of his life.
Inglewood, Chicago, has the highest crime rate in the United States.
Within a short period of time, the police took action one after another and wiped out two gangs in succession, causing panic in the entire district.
Even the branch chief Michael was puzzled as to why Jerry suddenly took down the Python Gang without even saying hello to him.
It wasn't a big deal that the Python Gang was taken down, the key point was that the boss Raymond was captured on the spot.
If Raymond exposes his position as director in order to protect himself, his position will be in danger.
This matter cannot be taken lightly. It is related to whether the director can land smoothly and his happy life in his later years.
Michael immediately stood up and went to the interrogation room where Raymond was imprisoned. No matter what, he had to get Raymond under his control first.
If it really doesn't work, even if I have to kill him, I can't let Raymond destroy me.
Michael brought his secretary and quickly came to the door of the interrogation room.
A neatly dressed police officer in a blue uniform was guarding the door.
"Open the door! I want to take him away!" said Director Michael.
The police officer immediately stood at attention and saluted Michael: "Report to the Chief! No one can touch Raymond now!"
Michael's eyes widened and he said, "What? Are you new here? The director doesn't even recognize you?"
"Report to the Director! I'm not new here, I've been working here for three years!"
Michael said impatiently, "I'm the director. I order you to open the door immediately! I want to take the suspect away. I have the authority to do so!"
