"What? Didn't you promise to delete my video last time?" Blair asked.
"I deleted the video last time...but...the backup file wasn't deleted!" Frank said. "Mr. Congressman, please help me one more time! This time, I promise to delete your video!"
This time, Blair had completely seen through Frank's true face.
He knew clearly that even if he helped Frank countless times, this scoundrel would not delete the video threatening him.
Frank will continue to use that pornographic video to threaten me into doing things for him until he has squeezed every last bit of value out of me.
As a Chicago city council member, Blair certainly doesn't want to be threatened by Frank again.
Since Frank is determined to commit suicide, Blair must kill him even if it means taking some risks.
After a brief thought, Blair pretended to agree: "Okay! I'll help you again! Tell me, what do you want me to do?"
"Hey, that's right!"
Frank said with satisfaction, "Recently, a prosecutor named Jennifer is investigating Cook Prison. Can you come forward and ask the State Attorney's Office to stop the investigation?"
"Yeah! Okay, no problem!" Blair agreed. "The Director of the Public Prosecutions Office and I are old friends! I can just give him a call!"
"Really?! Oh, that's great!" Frank was so happy that he couldn't stop smiling. "Okay! Call me quickly! I'll delete your video right away!"
"Okay! No problem, deal!"
Blair hung up the phone, the smile on his face disappeared instantly, and his eyes were filled with cold murderous intent.
