Chapter 66: Alex the Scapegoat

In the dim light, Frank had a stern face and said nothing.

Alex still didn't know what was going on, but since the gang's boss, Frank, had shown up, he guessed something big must have happened.

Alex smiled and sat down and said, "Boss, here I come..."

Frank snorted coldly: "Well, I don't think you dare not come!"

"Of course! You asked me to come, so how could I not come?" Alex said with a smile on his face. "What happened? Why do you have to discuss it so late?"

"Oh! You are such a loser! Alex!" Frank sighed.

Afterwards, Luca carefully told Alex what happened in the hotel today.

Alex was stunned for a moment, not knowing how to respond: "This... This is impossible!"

"Alex! We suffered such a huge loss, it's all your fault!" Frank lashed out. "If you had been smarter and reported Gina as bait to Kennell sooner, we wouldn't be in such a difficult position!"

"Boss... I don't know anything about this!" Alex stammered. "If I knew, I would find a way to inform you, even if it cost me my life!"

Seeing Alex's cowardly look, Frank knew that this guy was not lying, he was just really stupid...

"Okay, let's not talk about this anymore!"

Frank changed the subject and asked Dr. Joey beside him, "I heard that you were going to blow up Reeves, right? Why haven't you made any moves these days?"

"It's all Alex's fault! Last time, I made all the arrangements to blow up Reeves in his new car, but Alex actually sent someone to steal the car, and that's why my plan failed!"

Joey directly put the blame on Alex.

When boss Frank heard this, he couldn't help but curse, "Alex! You're such a pig teammate! You're completely useless at the critical moment! You're only making things worse!"

Alex lowered his head and took the scolding, not daring to say a word.

Joey continued, "After the bombing of Reeves, the base has been heavily guarded every day, and I'm very careful when going out. I can't find any opportunity to plant the bomb now."

"Hey! Joey, you tried your best. This is not your fault!"

Frank shook his head helplessly and looked at Luca, the eagle-eyed man standing beside him. "Luca, this has to depend on you now! Just take action! Just snipe Ribs!"

"Yeah, no problem, boss!"

Luca agreed and said, "My shooting skills are fine, but I need someone to cooperate with me. I have to determine Ribs's position in advance."

After saying this, the three of them looked at Alex at the same time.

All three knew that Alex was unreliable, but there was no one else around, so they could only rely on this unreliable guy.

Alex shook his head and waved his hands repeatedly: "No, no, no, I can't do this! I'm a loser, I can't lure Ribs out!"

"What I hate most in my life is cowards!" said the boss Frank.

He pulled out a pistol and slammed it down on the table. "Alex! I'm giving you a chance to redeem yourself. I'll ask you again: will you do this?"

After hearing this, Alex had no choice but to agree.

"Okay!" Frank said confidently, "Luca, I'm counting on you to take down Reeves! Alex, cooperate with Luca!"

"Okay! We get it, boss!"

"Well! Meeting adjourned!"

After Frank made the arrangements, he drove away from the gang's lair.

To Frank, the Hell's Angels were just his thugs and a way to make money! It didn't matter who was the boss.

As for his brother Kennel, the two brothers didn't have a deep relationship to begin with, so Kennel being the eldest was just a decoration.

As for Alex, he took the initiative to join the Hell's Angels just because he wanted to join a bigger gang and pursue a better future.

Now, he is in the hands of the Hell's Angels, and has to continue to cooperate with Luca to kill Ribs.

No matter how unhappy you are, you can only remain angry and dare not say anything, and you can only go down the wrong path.

Alex knew nothing about it. He was woken up in the middle of the night, drove a long way over to be scolded, and took all the blame.

He walked out of the repair shop covered in dust and drove back to his apartment.

Alex walked into the room sighing, and when he turned on the light, he was stunned.

Fox and seven or eight of his younger brothers were sitting in the middle of his living room, staring at him coldly without saying a word.

"Fox? Why...why are you here?" Alex said awkwardly, "You...you didn't even tell me you were coming..."

"If I told you in advance, would you still contact the Hell's Angels?" Fox asked coldly.

"What... What Hell's Angels!" Alex said nonchalantly, "I was just going out for a drive, just a spin..."

"Stop pretending, Alex!" said the two guys who had been following you. "We were following you. You went to the machine shop, the Hell's Angels' lair, right?!"

"You...you actually followed me..."

"Okay, stop talking!" Fox said, "Take him away and lock him up first! I'll find Ribs tomorrow and deal with him properly!"

The two younger brothers immediately stepped forward, covered Alex's mouth, then took out a black hood and covered his head, and took him out of the apartment.
