Chapter 11 Essential Skills for Survival in Chicago

On Chicago's bustling Lincoln Avenue, there is a low-key yet luxurious Italian restaurant.

Those who can come here to consume are basically big shots.

That day, Ribs dressed up as a waiter as arranged.

He was dressed in a suit, a crisp white shirt, and a red bow tie, and sneaked into the restaurant early.

At lunchtime, a luxury business car stopped on the street.

As the car door opened, a short, fat, middle-aged Mexican man got out of the car, carrying a small suitcase in his hand, followed by four bodyguards.

After entering the restaurant, these people walked straight across the hall and into private room 106.

Ribs hid in the kitchen and saw everything clearly. He picked up the red wine that had been prepared long ago and walked towards the private room.

This time, Reeves didn't plan to take action. He planned to observe the situation inside first.

From a distance, I saw two bodyguards standing at the door of the private room, one on each side.

The bodyguard saw that Reeves was white and dressed like a waiter, so he didn't suspect anything and just stopped him and searched him. Then he opened the door and let him in.

In the private room, two burly bodyguards stood on both sides, and the middle-aged Mexican man sat alone in front of the huge table.

"Sir, this is the wine you requested."

As Ribs spoke, he placed the goblet in front of the middle-aged man and inserted the wine opener into the bottle.

Bang!

The red wine bottle was opened and the aroma of wine filled the air.

While pouring the wine, Ribs also took the opportunity to carefully observe the middle-aged man's appearance.

He was wearing a baggy baseball shirt, was obese, bald, and had a big mole on his chin.

That’s right, this is Jacob, the second-in-command of the Outlaws Gang.

After pouring the wine, Reeves asked politely, "How is it, sir?"

Jacob gently shook the goblet, and the wine in the glass was a deep and bright purple-red, like a glass of dark red blood.

After observing the color and smelling the aroma, Jacob took a sip and said, "Mm-hmm, not bad. This is it! Serve."

"Okay, sir, please wait a moment." Reeves said politely, put down the red wine in his hand, and left the private room.

According to Ribs' observation, the two bodyguards at the door were rather thin and probably not very strong, but the two people in the private room looked like they had practiced kung fu.

But these are not a problem. With Reeves' ability, he can kill the three people in the private room within 30 seconds as long as he takes them by surprise.

Now, his only worry was that these bodyguards were all wearing loose windbreakers, and it would be troublesome if they had guns.

But now that things have come to this, there is no point in backing out.

We have to do what we have to do!

On the second trip, Ribs was holding a plate of vegetable salad in his hand, and a triangular dagger that he had prepared long ago was hidden in his shirt sleeve.

The bodyguard at the door searched Ribs' body again, spared his arm holding the salad, and let him into the private room.

"Sir, this is the first dish, a healthy salad!"

While introducing, Reeves placed the plate in front of Jacob. When he was about to start, a bodyguard suddenly walked towards the window of the private room.

Only at close range could Ribs be sure to kill them before they pulled out their guns.

Now they were too far away from the bodyguard, and if they acted rashly, Reeves was not sure if he could succeed.

Just when Ribs was stunned.

Jacob suddenly said, "Boy, what are you standing there for? Go serve the food! One salad is not enough for me! Bring my Australian steak up quickly!"

"Oh, oh, oh! That's right!" Reeves said, coming back to his senses. "Our vegetable salad is very particular. The combination of salad dressing and pepper must reach a ratio of 3.4:1 to have the best taste!"

This was the first time Jacob heard this.

As Ribs spoke, he picked up the pepper bottle on the table and said, "Sir, don't worry, I'll help you put the pepper!"

Ribs pretended to add pepper to the salad little by little. At this time, the bodyguard beside him slowly walked back to Jacob.

"Okay, okay! Go and serve the steak!" Jacob urged Reeves to leave with an impatient look on his face.

Now is the time to take action.

"Okay, okay! Sir, please don't be anxious."

Reeves spoke with a smile on his face, but his hand quickly pulled out a triangular dagger from his sleeve.

In an instant, before Jacob could react, the dagger had already pierced his chest, right where his heart was.

ah!!!

Jacob screamed, his face twisted in pain.

Ribs suddenly pulled out the triangular dagger, and a bloody hole appeared on Jacob's chest, with blood spurting out.

He lay on the table with his hands covering his chest, knocking over the bottle of red wine. Blood mixed with the red wine, and the smell of blood and alcohol pierced his nose.

A bodyguard reacted and immediately reached for his waist to pull out his gun.

Ribs took a step forward and pierced the bodyguard's neck with the triangular dagger. The bodyguard vomited blood and collapsed to the ground.

The remaining bodyguard in the room threw a flying knee at Reeves, but Reeves dodged it lightly. Then, Reeves picked up the red wine bottle on the table and smashed the back of the bodyguard's head.

In a flash, all three were knocked down.

The two bodyguards standing guard outside heard the noise in the private room and quickly pushed the door open, only to see that Ribs' body was covered in blood.

The goal of killing Jacob has been achieved!

Just as Reeves was about to jump out of the window and leave, the two bodyguards at the door pulled out their pistols at the same time.

Holy shit! This is bad! These two people have guns!
