This temptation was almost irresistible to Harold, who was in great fear!
"Zero risk! An absolute God's perspective!" Eugene panted, his eyes flashing with madness. "You're going to command the sniper yourself? No need! I'll do it myself! Afterwards, all you have to do is let me retreat safely, let me disappear under your protection! Isn't this the perfect revenge? Isn't this the best 'pledge of allegiance'?!"
For Harold, leaving the manor and going to the roof of Morgan Building was indeed a bit risky.
But with a street between them, in the absolute commanding heights and with security protection, the risk is much smaller than facing Reeves directly!
Moreover, being able to witness the death of that demon with my own eyes... this opportunity... is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
Harold stood up slowly, forcing a cold and wistful smile onto his face.
"Very good...Eugene." He said hoarsely, "Your 'pledge of allegiance'...is very touching."
He walked to the huge French window, looked out at the dazzling yet murderous night view of New York, and was silent for a few seconds. During those few minutes, Eugene could feel his heart almost jumping out of his chest.

"Yes! Mr. Harold!" Eugene suppressed his inner ecstasy, lowered his head suddenly, and his voice trembled slightly with excitement. "Just... wait and see! He will definitely die! After tomorrow night, there will be no such person as 'Ribus' in this world!"
Harold waved his hand, signaling the special police to take Eugene away for "safekeeping."
The study door closed, and Harold sat back in his chair. His tired face showed a long-lost look of morbid excitement.
He spread out the map of New York, his eyes fixed on the "Skydome" and the "JPMorgan Chase Building".
"Cloud Restaurant...Morgan Building...excellent view..." he muttered to himself, his mouth twisted into a twisted, expectant arc. "Yes...Eugene is right...this is indeed...a God's perspective."
He pressed the communicator, and his voice regained a certain sense of control over the situation. "Notify everyone, arrange two groups of people for tomorrow night: one group will 'protect' Eugene and take him to the 'Skydome'! The other group, prepare a helicopter for me! I want to go to the roof of the Morgan Building myself..."
