Chapter 24 Pheasant

Suddenly she felt some movement in the grass. She quietly raised her head and saw an animal she had never seen before. She immediately screamed.

"ah......."

Fu Hong rushed over when he heard her voice, "What's wrong..."

Fu Xiao saw him and pointed to the deer-like animal in front of him.

“What the hell is this?”

Fu Hong: “…”

He saw all these animals and didn't know what to say.

He couldn't believe that just a steamed bun could attract so many animals.

Holding my sister's hand, I asked her in disbelief, "Is this all caused by the steamed buns?"

Fu Xiao nodded, "Of course."

Fu Hong: "...Then why did they all fall down?"

It can't be that he died from eating too much steamed buns.

Just as he finished saying this, a pheasant suddenly flew over and fainted there a moment later.

Fu Xiao glanced at him calmly and said, "Didn't I just spread drugs around? I made them myself, and they are very effective."

I pushed him and said, "Hurry up and find a way to get it back."

He reacted, walked over to the group of fainted animals, and took aside the edible animals.

Fu Xiao saw him pick up the field mouse as well, and said with a bit of disdain: "Second brother, this is a mouse, right? Let's not have it. We have so many pheasants and rabbits that are enough to eat."

He looked at her with a look that said, "You don't understand this, do you?" "You'll know when you try it when you get home. This stuff smells really good."

She nodded noncommittally, then pointed at the large animal and asked, "What kind of animal is this?"

"robe,"

Fu Xiao suddenly realized and said in surprise: "This is the silly roe deer..."

This was indeed the first time she had seen such a thing.

Fu Hong packed up all the spoils. Looking at the pheasants and rabbits on the ground, he had a headache about how to get them back home. If someone found out about bringing so many things down the mountain, he would have to hand them in. If he didn't want to hand them in, he would have to avoid people.

He took out the remaining rope from the backpack, tied up the pheasants and rabbits together, picked up the silly roe deer, and said to her, "Sister, are you okay carrying the backpack?"

Fu Xiao nodded and followed him back.

When he reached the bundle of firewood in front, he put another bundle on his back, and she came forward and took the two hares from him, helping to lighten his burden.

The two of them can be said to have returned with a full load.

Walk to the top of the hill and stop...

Fu Hong took down the backpack, put two pheasants and a rabbit at the bottom, and filled the top with wild vegetables to cover it. From a distance, you couldn't tell what was inside.

The silly roe deer and the remaining prey were placed in the grass next to the high slope and he said to her, "Go home first and come back later to get these things."

Fu Xiao was a little worried and said, "How about I stay here and watch."

Fu Hong smiled and said, "No, I don't feel comfortable leaving you here alone. If the things are gone, they are gone. You can't let anything happen to them. Go home. I'll get them when you get home. No one else will come to get them. Don't worry."

He put the backpack on his chest, put the firewood on his back, and walked forward while pulling her.

On the way back, I was lucky enough not to meet anyone and returned home very smoothly.

After entering the house, Fu Xiao closed the door behind him.

"Bang......"

The sound of the door closing woke up Grandpa Fu who was dozing on the recliner. Seeing the two of them sneaking towards the backyard, he followed them.

When they saw what was taken out of the basket in the backyard, Grandpa Fu ran over excitedly and said, "How come you two are so capable? This must be a vole. You can even catch this thing."

Fu Hong and Fu Xiao looked at each other, then smiled and said to Grandpa Fu, "Grandpa, there are still some prey and a silly roe deer on the mountain. I have to go up there again."

Hearing this, Grandpa Fu became even happier and said to him, "Go quickly, I'll pack these things."

Fu Hong found a bigger backpack from the small warehouse, put it on his back and went up the mountain.

Grandpa Fu happily took out the pheasants and rabbits and said to her, "Xiaoxiao, go to your aunt's room and get the scissors."

Fu Xiao stood up and went to the next room. He saw a pair of scissors next to the cloth on the kang. He thought that they were the ones his aunt used to cut cloth when she was making clothes. He took the scissors and handed them to Grandpa Fu.

He picked up a pair of scissors and cut off the pheasant's wings. He then picked up the knife beside him and was about to "behead" the chicken. She quickly spoke out to stop him.

"......"
