In the backyard, Fu Hong found the iron rack that they had used to roast chicken before, skewered the chicken on it, and put the chicken on it when the fire was not so big. Fu Xiao walked out of the kitchen holding a bowl.

Xiao Nian Gao buried his face in her arms again and lay there motionless.
"Hahaha," she laughed and held him in her arms, "Sister-in-law, our rice cake knows how to be shy,"
Fu Jingshu looked at Li Xiufen with a smile, "Sister-in-law, this child is so well-behaved. He didn't even make a fuss when he couldn't find food."
Some kids would cry loudly when they are not satisfied, but little Nian Gao didn't make much of a fuss.
