It was around two o'clock in the afternoon when Fu Yu and his two siblings came out of the cinema. Although it was a newly released movie, it was very similar to the ones they had seen before.
Oh, it's still a little different.
The one I watched before was called Tunnel Warfare, and the one I watched today is called Mine Warfare.
This is indeed a new film.
At the entrance of the cinema, Fu Xiao looked at his elder brother and said, "Brother, shall we go back to the village?"
Fu Yu raised his hand and touched her head, then said with a smile: "Xiao Xiao, don't rush back. Do you still want to go there?"
She thought about it and realized that there really wasn't much to see in this county town, so she said softly, "Brother, let's go to the bookstore. I want to buy two books."
"Okay, let's go to the bookstore first,"
Several people came to the bookstore, and Fu Hong picked up the picture books directly at the door, and she went inside to choose the books she wanted from the bookshelf.
Fu Yu stood at the door waiting for them.
Fu Hong searched for a long time but didn't find what he wanted, so he walked out of the bookstore and patted Fu Yu on the shoulder from behind, "Brother, what are you thinking about..."
"Nothing." Fu Yu saw that his hands were empty and asked, "Why? There's no book you want to read?"
Fu Hong spread his hands and said, "I have read all the comic books here. There are no new ones."
"Brother, are you worried about Uncle San?"
"No,"
Fu Hong curled his lips, "I don't know why Mr. Chen came to see Uncle San... Every time I see him, Uncle San is in a bad mood."
"Yes," Fu Yu looked up at the sky and murmured.
By this time, Fu Xiao had picked out the books he wanted, paid for them and walked out, only to see his two brothers in deep thought.
"elder brother..."
"Have you picked out the books?" Fu Yu turned around and took the book from her hand. "Let's go back to the dormitory."
The three of them went straight back to the county party committee dormitory.
Fu Yu bought dinner at the state-owned restaurant. Fu Xiao and Fu Hong stayed in the dormitory reading and did not go out.
After finishing his official duties, Fu Weilun came to the cadre guesthouse and knocked on the door of Shen Ruofeng's room. It was Shen Ruofeng who opened the door. Seeing him standing at the door, he smiled and said, "Brother Lun, are you done?"
Fu Weilun smiled and said, "Well, when we're done, I'll invite you and Xingzhou to have a meal."
Shen Ruofeng glanced at the room in embarrassment, "Brother Lun, Zhou Zhou is still asleep, so I won't bother you."
"Then let him sleep," Fu Weilun raised his eyebrows and looked at him, "Let's drink a little and bring him something to eat when we come back."
"Okay, Brother Lun, wait for me to change my clothes. Come in and wait." After saying that, he opened the door and let him in.
"I won't go in and wake him up again. I'm going to the door to smoke a cigarette," Fu Weilun took out a cigarette from his pocket, shook it at him, and turned to walk downstairs.
After taking a few puffs of cigarette, Shen Ruofeng came down. Fu Weilun took him to a private restaurant where all the people who came were acquaintances.
The two ordered two meat dishes and two vegetable dishes, and some peanuts to go with the wine. They drank and chatted, mostly about work.
As they drank and chatted, both of them looked drunk.
Shen Ruofeng's eyes were slightly red, and he said regretfully: "Brother Lun, I miss my sister so much. My poor sister has sacrificed her whole life for the Shen family."
Fu Weilun smoked calmly without saying a word.
"Hiccup... My sister married a bastard, the Qi family is a bunch of scum, my poor sister, and my poor nephew, Zhou Zhou, uh... Brother Lun, my sister should have married you, hiccup..."
Shen Ruofeng was obviously drunk, tears kept flowing, and his speech became incoherent.
"You've drunk too much," Fu Weilun threw away the cigarette butt, stood up, and helped him out of the box.
I went outside to pay the money and brought a portion of dumplings to Shen Xingzhou who was in the guesthouse.
He supported the drunk Shen Ruofeng and walked towards the guesthouse.
He came to the door of their room and knocked.
When Shen Xingzhou opened the door, he saw two people who were drunk. He took the obviously drunk uncle from Fu Weilun and smiled apologetically: "Uncle Lun, I'm sorry to trouble you."
"It's okay," Fu Weilun handed him the dumplings he had packed, "I brought you some dumplings."
Shen Xingzhou reached out to take it, turned sideways, and said with a smile: “Thank you, please come in and sit for a while.”
"Don't sit down, it's too late, you should go to bed early."
Fu Weilun patted his shoulder and looked at Shen Ruofeng who was in a daze. "Help your uncle go in and have a rest. I'll go back."
Shen Xingzhou watched his back walk away, then helped Shen Ruofeng and put him on the bed.
Sit on the edge of the bed and open the dumplings.
Shen Ruofeng, who was lying on the bed, whispered, "Sister...it would be great if you hadn't married into the Qi family...I miss you so much,"
Listening to his uncle's mumbling on the bed, his face remained extremely calm and he continued to eat the dumplings in front of him.
He had always known that his mother was not sincere about marrying his father. When he was a child, he would feel resentful and hate the man in her heart, thinking that if it weren't for him, the relationship between his mother and father would definitely be as harmonious as other couples.
But now he himself feels that his father is not a good person, so why should he resent others?
Although his mother didn't really like his father, that poor woman truly loved him.
It’s no wonder that mom doesn’t like the Qi family. Even he sometimes hates the fact that he has Qi blood in his veins.
Shen Ruofeng was right. It would have been better if that woman had not married into the Qi family. If she had really married the person she loved, her face would not always be filled with sorrow, and she would not have passed away so young.
