Chapter 56 Football 56 Kings Never Meet.

Chapter 56 Football 56 Kings Never Meet.

The right to kick off is determined by a game of rock-paper-scissors between one player from each side.

Lady Luck smiled upon Team V, and they won the right to kick off.

The electronic referee's crisp whistle rang out.

With a light touch of his toe, Kenjou Zantetsu sent the ball flying precisely towards Mikage Reio.

Reio Mikage's eyes were filled with determination and composure as she received the ball.

The match between Team Z and Team W is still fresh in my mind. Perhaps if it had been a little longer, Team Z could have tied or even beaten Team W.

Such terrifying evolutionary ability made Rei-Oh Mikage feel a sense of crisis.

Without the slightest hesitation, Reio Mikage tensed his body like a bowstring ready to be released and charged forward with the ball.

He, Rei-ou Mikage, has no interest in being someone else's experience point.

"Back on defense!"

With a powerful flick of his left hand, Suoh Hyo-hee turned and headed straight for his own penalty area, his expression more serious and focused than ever before.

This requires a swift attack.

Suoh Hyo-ki noticed the Z team players following closely behind out of the corner of his eye, and his sense of urgency gradually decreased.

"Nagi!"

With a light tap of her right foot, Reio Mikage sent the black and white soccer ball flying through the air in a graceful arc, landing precisely at Nagi Seishiro's feet.

Time seemed to stand still, and all eyes were fixed on the player who was about to decide the outcome of the match.

Seishiro Nagi's legs were tense, the power within his muscles about to explode. His right leg suddenly pulled back in an exaggerated arc, then swung forward with a powerful thrust.

The football hurtled straight towards the corner of Team Z's goal, with unstoppable momentum.

"Bang!"

The sound of the net vibrating was like a victory horn announcing V's score.

In just 35 seconds, or half a minute, Team V made a deep impression on Team Z with lightning speed.

The faces of the Z team members were filled with astonishment and resentment.

Team V was too fast; Team Z's goalkeeper only reacted to defend when Team V's striker, Seishiro Nagi, was about to shoot.

The goalkeeper stared blankly at the ball that had gone into the net, and said apologetically, "Sorry."

"That was...that was too sudden! That goal!" Jie Shiyi stared at the scoreboard in disbelief.

I scratched my head and said, "So fast!"

Kujou Wataru, however, said thoughtfully, "Does this goal really count? Is the right-hand goalkeeper not even in position yet?"

"Tick-tock—"

The electronic scoreboard displayed the result, confirming that Team V's goal was valid, and replayed the quick attack on the big screen.

On the screen, it is indeed shown that Team V's Seishiro Nagi took the shot after Ikusa sent the right goalkeeper into position.

Suoh Hyo-ki's left eye twitched involuntarily.

When Kenshiro passed the ball to Reiou, Suoh Koki realized that Team V wanted to launch a quick attack, but the speed of Reiou Nagi's coordination was too fast. Although he reminded them to return to defense, Team Z's footwork was still a little lacking.

It's still too weak.

Suoh Hyo-hee placed his hands on his shoulders, his green eyes indifferently scanning the Z team players.

If it were a stronger team, they would definitely be able to intercept the pass when the purple-haired (Rei-Oh) receives it.

It was only at this moment that Suoh Hyoki realized the disadvantage of fighting alone.

Football is a team sport; one person alone cannot create waves. He needs more exceptional teammates to fill the gaps in his position.

Seishiro Nagi clutched his chest, savoring the thrill of the shot. But it didn't seem to be the excitement of scoring the first goal; rather, it was a bewildered anxiety.

I'm so hungry, I feel like throwing up.

Red marks appeared on Nagi Seishiro's neck, indicating that he had been scratched forcefully.

This was the first time in his life that he had experienced such negative emotions.

Will we lose?

He turned to look at the V team's leading scoreboard, his usually calm eyes showing impatience.

The game continues.

Team Z's Kunishin Rensuke kicks off.

"God of the country."

Suoh Koki called out to Kunishin Rensuke, leaning slightly forward as if he had already anticipated the ball's trajectory. With a gentle flick of his wrists, he instantly and perfectly coordinated with Kunishin Rensuke's pass.

He moved with lightning speed, pulling the ball from the instep of his left foot to his right calf, then swinging his leg back to bring the ball from behind, over his head, to the front.

With a dazzling rainbow flick, he easily bypassed the interception of V team's number 10 (Kenjou Zantetsu) and number 8.

Reio Mikage burst out from Suoh Koki's blind spot, leaped up, and precisely touched the ball with his toe, sending it soaring high into the air.

Suoh Koki's feet slipped, his pupils contracted sharply, and he quickly turned around, his gaze fixed intently on the spinning soccer ball and the suddenly appearing Mikage Rei-oh.

"Hmm? That move isn't enough."

A barely perceptible ripple flashed across Suoh Hyoki's inorganic face. He tilted his head slightly, his brief moment of distraction vanishing in an instant, replaced by a burst of green energy emanating from his eyes.

Rei-Oh Mikage gave her opponents no chance to breathe, and charged straight at Team Z's goal with the ball.

A red figure flashed by, and the same green spread across the Thousand-Cut Leopard Horse.

Suoh-sama-senki-sama ...

Wow, so fast!

Despite her best efforts, Mikage Reio was still far behind. Kenjou Zantetsu's speed was comparable to Senkiri Hyoba's, and he quickly caught up with her.

"This is so annoying!"

As Qianqie Baoma ran with all his might, he kept an eye on Jiancheng Zhantie out of the corner of his eye, a hint of green flashing in his red eyes.

"Chikiri."

In the "synchronized" state, Suoh Hyoki and Senkiri Hyoma need not say much; a single glance is enough for them to understand each other's intentions.

With a swift movement, Senkichi Hyoba launched the soccer ball with incredible accuracy towards Suoh Hyoki, its speed astonishing.

Seeing this, Suoh Koki shielded Nagi Seishiro behind him.

"I'm not going to let you get the ball."

Suoh Koki noticed Nagi Seishiro's awkward movements and knew that he must have only recently started learning soccer.

This guy is a genius!

We have to kill this guy right here!

Nagi Seishiro, however, stood behind Suoh Koki without any sign of rushing forward, simply saying, "I don't need to steal the ball; I just need to wait for Rei to pass it to me."

Everything seemed to be under his control.

Reio Mikage raced after the soccer ball, his purple eyes fixed on the black and white ball. His heart pounded with each bounce, sweat trickled down his forehead, blurring his vision, but he paid no heed, focusing instead on sprinting forward.

Just then, a foot suddenly entered his field of vision—it was the Thousand-Cut Leopard Horse!

In the blink of an eye, Qianqie Baoma had completed his move. He leaned back slightly, and his legs burst forth like springs ready to be released, sending the soccer ball straight into the corner of the goal.

The soccer ball hurtled towards Reio Mikage with a whistling sound, then hurtled straight toward the goal.

1:1

The score is tied.

Passing the ball to himself? What an arrogant guy.

Mikage Reio muttered to himself, but his intense fighting spirit replaced his inner turmoil. He wiped the sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand, and his eyes regained their clarity and sharpness.

I must win this game!

Only by advancing to the next round of selection can I achieve my goal.

We won the W Cup!

It has nothing to do with the Mikage Group, nor with his parents, but only with Prince Ling.

Seishiro Nagi will kick off.

Seishiro Nagi passes the ball to Reio Mikage.

Suoh Koki's eyes gleamed with the keenness and composure of a hunter, his green pupils locked onto Mikage Rei-ou. He lightly lifted his left foot, his toes barely touching the soft grass, ready to turn and wait for his prey to make a move.

Reio Mikage dribbled the ball at breakneck speed, weaving nimbly across the court, attempting to break through Koki Suoh's defense with speed and skill. However, Koki Suoh maintained the best defensive position as Reio Mikage moved, keeping him firmly in place.

Sweat gathered and dripped from Reio Mikage's forehead, but his eyes remained resolute, unwilling to give up any chance of a breakthrough.

Just as the two sides were locked in a stalemate, Reio Mikage caught a glimpse of Seishiro Nagi in the corner of the field. A glimmer of light flashed in his eyes, as if he saw a glimmer of hope to break the deadlock.

His footwork also subtly adjusted, and his body leaned slightly to the side, preparing to use this momentary change to create an opportunity.

Now!

Wang Xiaoxi quickly turned around, bracing himself for the football to fall from the sky.

...He heard the echo of "Attack!"

The black and white ball emerged from beneath Reio Mikage's feet, and through the gap in Koki Suoh's movements, it moved towards Seishiro Nagi.

"You want to shoot? You're still a long way off, little chick."

Suoh Koki blocked Nagi Seishiro's path, intercepting the ball that Mikage Reiou had passed, and shot it into the net.

2:1

A step too slow, Nagi Seishiro, who was firmly blocked behind him, stared indifferently at the back of Suoh Koki's head, his right hand unconsciously resting on his neck.

This guy (Hyoki Suoh) is even better than the one on the videotape.

Could it be... because I joined that team (Team Z)?

Seishiro Nagi glanced at the Z team players.

It seems there's nothing I've paid too much attention to.
