"Why?" Listening to Yi Menglu speaking so brilliantly about these karaoke-level singers, one couldn't help but feel a little puzzled.
He took another sip, looked at Yi Mu calmly and said, "You don't believe it?"
Perhaps because of the long-term halo, and because we are not singers on the same level, we are somewhat skeptical of what Yi Menglu said.
However, Yi Mu's long-standing moral qualities did not allow him to say anything derogatory.
"Then we'll just have to wait and see." Seeing Yi Mu's dissatisfaction, Yi Menglu said disapprovingly.
It's daytime now, and there aren't many people in the bar, so it seems a little deserted.
Suddenly a group of people carrying some musical instruments walked onto the stage.
"They are just practicing and rehearsing as usual," Yi Menglu explained.
Just as Yi Menglu said, although Yi Mu had never heard these pieces of music before, he did not feel any sense of incongruity.
Yi Mu couldn't help but close his eyes and concentrate on listening to the music.
"How is it?" he asked after seeing Yi Mu open his eyes which had been closed.
"It sounds nice, doesn't it?"
Yi Mu nodded and looked at the performers on the stage, "You're right."
He picked up the wine glass he had been holding and took a sip. "I think I know where I made the mistake."
What a singer needs is never how perfect the lyrics are or how beautiful the melody is. The most important thing is to devote oneself to the music wholeheartedly.
He heard in their music the thing that a musician should never lack, something he had lost a long time ago - happiness.
Over the years, too many people have put a halo on him, causing him to gradually forget why he originally entered the entertainment industry.
After drinking the last half glass of wine, Yi Mu smiled self-deprecatingly.
He turned to Yi Monroe and said, "Monroe, wait for me here."
Not knowing what Yi Mu was going to do, Yi Menglu kept following Yi Mu with her eyes.
After seeing what Yi Mu said to the boss, the boss seemed very happy and even hugged Yi Mu.
"What did you just say to Muse's boss?" It was not convenient to ask in the bar just now, but as soon as they left the bar, Yi Menglu immediately grabbed Yi Mu's arm and asked.
He pried off Yi Menglu's hand that was pulling on his arm and held it.
With a chuckle, he said, "I just asked him if I could perform in his place." Then he looked at Yi Menglu and said, "What I didn't expect was that the boss didn't know me, or the singers there didn't seem to recognize me either."
"But it's better this way, it can save a lot of trouble," Yi Mu said lightly as he looked at the street.
After hearing what Yi Mu said, Yi Menglu realized that he was relieved.
"Monroe" Yi Mu suddenly said.
"Um?"
Before Yi Menglu could react, Yi Mu hugged her in his arms and said, "Thank you."
"What are you thanking me for?" He held Yi Mu's shoulders.
"Thank you for giving me a new definition of music and making me see my own shortcomings."
Yi Menglu was about to speak when she heard Yi Mu's voice, "Thank God for letting me meet you."
Yi Menglu pushed Yi Mu away and said, "It's not proper. It would be terrible if someone took a picture of us on the street."
"Don't worry." He spoke slowly, looking at himself surrounded by Yi Menglu in three circles, through her eyes.
Although it's not the middle of summer, it's really unbearable to be tormented like this.
Yi Menglu said that she had no choice because Yi Mu's face was prone to trouble.
