That year's rainy season

I don’t know if it’s because of the atmosphere here that brought Tang Nannan and Ye Luoxuan closer.

Tang Nannan stared at the coffee cup in a daze. Ye Luoxuan, who was sitting opposite her, hadn't said a word and just stayed quietly beside her.

The wind started blowing outside the window, and the curtains were blown up. Ye Luoxuan got up and closed the window.

Turning around, I vaguely saw Mo Mo's tears.

Tang Nannan's face was covered by her sparse hair, her head was tilted to the side, and a napkin was handed to her.

"Thanks"

"What's wrong with you?" Ye Luoxuan stood beside him.

Tang Nannan gently touched the corner of her eyes and said, "Nothing."

This restaurant is a special place for Tang Nannan and it is also the starting point of all her wishes.

My first wish is that my father can be safe when working at high altitudes.

The second wish is that the whole family can be together every day.

The third wish is to never do something that I hate.

The last one is the hope that I can be with the person I love.

It’s a pity that things never go as planned.

"Ye Luoxuan, have you ever wanted to cherish something but still lost it?"

The sadness in Tang Nannan's eyes and the weakness in her tone were all seen by Ye Luoxuan.

He really wanted to put his hand on her shoulder and tell her that no matter what happened, he would always be by her side.

"Yes, but people can't always be immersed in the past, nor can they only see what they have lost and not see what they have."

Suddenly, raindrops began to fall outside the window.

In an instant, it rained heavily.

The sea outside the window also began to become turbulent.

"It seems that we can't leave for a while." Ye Luoxuan said while looking out the window.

"Um"

Sometimes, you don’t need too many words, just letting that person feel that you are there is enough.

"It's raining," Yi Menglu muttered to herself as she stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window.

"Really?" Yi Mu put down his sleeves after finishing cleaning up.

"This kind of weather makes people feel stuffy and uncomfortable."

Yi Menglu half-folded her arms and turned around. "Yi Mu, don't you like this rainy season?"

"I prefer sunny days because they make people feel more energetic."

"Really? I remember there was someone who liked rainy weather." Yi Menglu walked to the sofa and leaned down.

Without waiting for Yi Mu to speak, "Nan Nan likes this kind of weather."

"Tang Nannan?"

"Yes, because when we were little, Nannan, Luoxuan, and I squeezed into a small wooden house for a night out of play. It started to rain lightly that night, so we built a fire to keep warm. She said it felt very warm."

Yi Menglu's thoughts gradually drifted back from her childhood memories. "So"

"So, later on, she started to like this kind of weather?" Yi Mu continued what Yi Menglu hadn't finished saying.

"Maybe, because my uncle is no longer alive and my aunt is away from home all year round, that memory has become the only light in Nan Nan's heart."

Yi Menglu looked out the window.

Perhaps because the person next to her was too quiet, or perhaps because her neck was sore from leaning sideways for a long time, Tang Nannan changed her posture.

Turning around, I saw Ye Luoxuan sitting sideways.

The warm light shone on Ye Luoxuan's profile, making him look very peaceful.

"You, are you still there?"

Ye Luoxuan turned around and said, "What else? Where should I go?" Ye Luoxuan pointed outside the window.

"You are still the same as before, silly," said Tang Nannan.

He said seriously, "Don't have any more wild thoughts. I think you should just be my follower."
