On the city wall, the guards were discussing amongst themselves.
Lord Wan, the commander of the nine gates of the capital, stood on the city tower and looked towards the palace.
The palace was a scene of carnage, with some areas already on fire.
Thick smoke billowed into the sky.
"My lord, the palace is on fire."
"Shouldn't we hurry up and put out the fire?"
The Nine Gates Admiral shook his head: "It's none of my business, so I'll stay out of it and just focus on guarding our city walls."
Everyone was at a loss.
They had no idea what Wanli was thinking.
Just then, a roaring sound came from the sky.
The roar was like thunder.
Many people haven't heard thunder and rain for years.
Upon hearing the thunder, they quickly looked in the direction of the sound.
They were shocked when they looked.
Something flew over from the sky; it looked like a giant roc.
"Look, what's that?"
"The Golden-Winged Roc".
"It seems he flew straight towards the palace."
"Be on guard! Be on guard immediately!" a lieutenant general roared.
Soon, a series of horn sounds came from the city gate.
The Nine Gates Admiral, Wan Naren, sneered, "What's there to be wary of? With our abilities, could we shoot that bird down from the sky?"
"Lord Wan, this is an auspicious omen from heaven! We have never seen such a large bird before!"
"Lord Wan, something important must be happening today."
Wanli nodded.
This guy is the Commander of the Nine Gates, mainly responsible for the defense of the capital, but he colludes with the Grand Secretary Pang Hao. The two of them are in cahoots.
The thing in the air, which looked like a large bird, flew closer and closer.
Only then did everyone see clearly.
There was a person hanging below that thing that looked like a large bird.

Liu Jin: "You must not act rashly. If the poisonous blood reaches your heart, you will surely die."
The eunuchs and palace maids were also terrified and didn't know what to do.
With a "pfft," Li Yuanba spat out a mouthful of blood.
At this moment, Li Yuanba realized that what Lü Fang and the others said was true.

When Feng Huoliancheng saw the powered paraglider, he was so frightened that he stared in disbelief and dared not move.
Pang Hao was about to attack Empress Qian Renxue when he spotted something resembling a roc in the sky. He was so frightened that he dared not move.
Lu Fang's eunuchs also looked up to watch.
Empress Qian Renxue walked out of the study. This 17-year-old girl had never seen anything so shocking.
Jiang Tian was getting closer and closer to them, and also getting lower and lower.

Everyone looked up and saw Li Yuanba calling out to the air, "My lord!"
They immediately realized that the person who had fallen from the sky was none other than Jiang Tian.
When Lü Fang and the other eunuchs saw this, they were overjoyed: "Your Majesty, we are saved! Protect Your Majesty, we cannot let Your Majesty suffer even the slightest harm."
"Listen up, all of you! If anyone dares to make a move, Lord Jiang in the air will not let them off the hook."
