Qinglu remained silent for a long time, and Yu Wanwan looked up in confusion.
But he suddenly stood up, his tone distant and calm: "I don't need you to take responsibility, nor do I need you to clarify. This matter has no impact on me, so let it be."
After he said that, he didn't even look at Yu Wanwan any further and strode out of the cave.
Before Yu Wanwan could react, Qinglu had already disappeared.
She sat on the bed, her expression still a little dull.
So she was... rejected?
Since that day, Yu Wanwan hasn't seen Qinglu recently, but the daily herbs and meals have never been interrupted, and they are even better than before.

She called Su Hui and asked him to take her off the island.
As soon as Su Hui arrived, he went straight to Qinglu's cave. After finding nothing there, he came to Yu Wanwan's cave to find her.

Yu Wanwan pouted: "What do you mean, what's wrong with me?"

Su Hui looked at Yu Wanwan sitting on the bed and finally couldn't help asking, "Just what are you thinking about? Regarding your relationship with Elder Qinglu, you don't really want him to be your lifelong pursuer, do you?"
The pursuer is someone who is unwilling to give up even though he cannot get what he wants. In the Orc Continent, the status of such orcs is even lower than that of single orcs!
His elder has lowered his own status, so how can Yu Wanwan still be so arrogant? He is so worried about the elder.
Yu Wanwan lowered her head: "I know, but he doesn't like me, what can I do."
I can't be like Flo, chasing after him and making him annoyed.

If he liked her, why didn't he want her to take responsibility? Why did he just leave and not show up for so many days?

He would take good care of himself, bring her delicious food, and not let her play in the snow for her health, but he would send her a snowman according to her description, and even stay up all night just to research the shoes.
She remembers all of this.

After getting her answer, Su Hui finally felt relieved: "You like him, and he likes you too, so why don't you get together? There must be a misunderstanding!"
Yu Wanwan snorted softly: "If there is any misunderstanding, I have already asked in person."
She briefly told Su Hui what happened that day.
"Qinglu never said he liked me from the beginning to the end, and he also said he didn't want me to be responsible. He didn't even need to clarify."

Su Hui stood up and walked around the room, starting to recall Qinglu's previous abnormality, loss, and occasional silly smiles. For example, he had asked his female what she liked, how to comfort her, how to make her happy, etc.

Everyone on Dragon Island believes that the position of elder and everything on Dragon Island are more important than females. However, for orcs like Su Hui who don’t care much about these external things, finding a female they like and reproducing offspring is the most important thing.
The elder's genes are so good, what a shame to waste them!

Su Hui pulled Yu Wanwan up from the ground and dragged her towards the cave entrance: "Come with me to the witch doctor and become a companion to the elders."
Yu Wanwan stumbled as he pulled her, but luckily she managed to keep herself steady and avoid a fatal fall. She shook off Su Hui's hand and rubbed her aching wrist: "I can walk on my own, but I need to check with Qinglu first about getting married."
After all, love is a matter between two people. She can't simply judge based on what a third party says. This time, she has to ask clearly what is said.
The two went to the witch doctor together, but were told that Qinglu had left Dragon Island early this morning.
Yu Wanwan asked anxiously, "When will he come back?"
The witch doctor thought for a moment and said, "Probably tomorrow morning."
"Okay, then I'll wait for him to come back."
