Chapter 88 Traitor

The orc had no time to pay attention to him. After delivering this batch of meat, he continued to move the next batch. Seeing the meat, the old orcs in charge of grilling it all looked like they had lost all hope in life.

By the time all the meat was roasted, the old beastmen had a lot of soot on their heads and their faces were greasy, making them feel extremely uncomfortable.

As they walked back together, an old orc complained, "Barbecuing is so tiring. After we defeat the elephant tribe, I won't want to barbecue anymore in my life."

"That's right. Those people said barbecuing is easy. How can it be easy? They can grill hundreds of people at once. Why don't they come and do it?"

"I'm so fed up with it. I come home with a smell every day. The females in my family all dislike me."

"What's the big deal? Look at Qu Cang, he doesn't even have a partner, hahaha."

After saying that, they all burst into laughter.

An old orc went to look for Qu Cang and found him following the group silently. He couldn't help but approach him and asked, "Qu Cang, what's wrong with you? We were just joking around, are you angry?"

Qu Cang glanced at him, and his expressionless face suddenly smiled: "I'm not angry, I just feel that grilling meat is too tiring."

Speaking of barbecue, the orc felt the same way. He held Qu Cang's shoulders and sighed, "Yeah, I feel tired too, but it's good to be able to contribute to the tribe."

Qu Cang snorted in his heart. What kind of effort is this? A tribe like this is not worth his effort.

The orc didn't realize Qu Cang's strange behavior and continued to talk to himself, "Now that the tribe has Bai Jing leading us, we can definitely defeat the elephant tribe. I hope we can successfully conquer the elephant tribe this time. I don't want to barbecue anymore."

When he heard Bai Jing's name, Qu Cang's face turned even worse and he kept cursing in his heart.

"What are you mumbling about?"

The orc came up to Qu Cang.

"No, nothing."

Qu Cang wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and realized that he had cursed unconsciously. Fortunately, his voice was not heard, otherwise he would be finished!

At night, when everyone was sleeping, a figure sneaked out of the tribe.

Another figure hidden in the darkness quickly headed towards Bai Jing's cave.

Yu Wanwan did not sleep with Bai Jing today. Bai Jing was lying in bed alone. When he realized someone was approaching the cave, he quickly opened his eyes.

In the hazy moonlight, it can be seen that this orc is the young orc named Nan Shu who said he wanted to follow Bai Jing during the clan leader election in the square.

Before he got close, he saw Bai Jing standing at the entrance of the cave. He hurried over and said to Bai Jing, "Chief, I just saw Qu Cang leave the tribe."

Bai Jing nodded: "Where did he go?"

"You're right. He went in the direction of the elephant tribe."

"Let's chase."

Qu Cang ran in the darkness, the excitement of betrayal making him extremely excited.

Tonight he will tell the Elephant Tribe all of the White Tiger Tribe's plans and let the Elephant Tribe devour the White Tiger Tribe.

So that the orcs of the White Tiger Tribe will know how foolish it is for Bai Jing to be the tribe leader. When they all become prisoners, he, as a hero who delivered the message, can still have a place in the Elephant Tribe and may even be able to take over the territory of the White Tiger Tribe.

Immersed in excitement, Qu Cang ran forward without noticing the fireball under his feet.

By the time he reacted, all four of his legs had been burned by flames. The scorching pain made him fly up and fall to the ground with a roar.

Bai Jing and Nan Shu appeared in front of him. Seeing that it was Bai Jing, Qu Cang quickly got up from the ground and stammered, "Clan leader, why are you here?"

Bai Jing glanced at him and said calmly, "I haven't asked you why you are here yet."

Qu Cang fell to the ground, swallowed his saliva, and replied: "I, I just couldn't sleep, so I came out for a walk."

"Qu Cang, you're still lying!" Nan Shu pointed at him angrily, "We all know you're going to the Elephant Tribe. Do you want to betray the tribe?"

"Don't talk nonsense." Qu Cang glanced at Bai Jing in fear. "I really just came out for a walk. I have no intention of going to the Elephant Tribe. Chief, I am sincere to the tribe. You have to believe me."

Bai Jing half-knelt in front of him, and spoke like a bewitching demon: "Qu Cang, are you sincere to the tribe?"

"Yes, yes."

Bai Jing's tone was flat, making it hard to guess what he meant. "Then are you willing to make some contributions to the tribe?"

Hearing Bai Jing's words, Qu Cang quickly replied: "Of course I am willing. I can go through fire and water for the tribe."

Bai Jing suddenly laughed, his deep voice very pleasant to the ear, but for some reason it sounded like a death demand to Qu Cang: "In that case, this mission belongs to you."

Qu Cang was stunned for a moment and looked up subconsciously.

A huge fireball came towards him, the flames licked his skin and climbed up his hair, causing Qu Cang to scream in pain.

Watching him howling in pain in the flames, Nan Shu couldn't help but swallow.

No one expected that the usually gentle patriarch would be so cruel. But on second thought, burning Qu Cang, a traitor, to death was nothing. Even chopping him into pieces and feeding him to wild beasts would be considered a light punishment!

A Ye was running in the forest in panic. Perhaps he was too panicked, so he didn't even look at the road while running and bumped into an elephant.

The elephant orc turned around and saw it was a rabbit. He frowned and said fiercely, "Why are you running? Don't you have eyes?"

"I... they're so scary. The Tiger Tribe, the people of the Tiger Tribe..."
