Chapter 21 The Cursed Mountain Village 5

There was still no one at the door, and the voice seemed to be coming from above...

The three looked up in alarm, and the first thing they saw was a pair of red embroidered shoes and a red wedding dress with its hem fluttering in the wind.

Suddenly, a face fell down into the three people's view. The face was extremely white, even the pupils were white, but the lips were so red they were dripping blood.

No, perhaps, it was blood to begin with...

Liu Shan looked at that face and was filled with extreme fear.

It really is Liu Ye who's back; she's back for revenge.

"Sister, sister, please forgive me. It wasn't me who harmed you. It was Dad's idea. Go find him."

Liu Shan wept and urinated, completely absolving himself of any responsibility. He was no longer the person who usually beat and scolded Liu Ye. He lay sprawled on the ground like an ugly maggot.

Liu's mother had already fainted from fright, and Liu's father, terrified to the extreme, became even more wicked.

He pointed at Liu Ye and cursed, "You brat, how dare you scare your old man like that? You worthless thing, I've fed and clothed you all these years and haven't gotten a penny back. What are you dissatisfied with?"

Even at this point, he still didn't think there was anything wrong with his behavior.

In their village, girls are not considered human beings. Before marriage, they are considered laborers, and after marriage, they become the wives of the men in the family.

In short, anything can be, except for being a person.

Qi An was so angry at this old fool that she laughed out loud.

The laughter was sinister and eerie, a lament for the folly of the world and the girl's tragic fate.

She didn't want to waste her breath arguing with the old man; those old beasts only ever thought about two things.

The matter of the lower body and to produce a "son with a penis" for the family's few dilapidated tile-roofed houses and pots and pans.

She didn't come to preach; she came to kill.

Liu Shan's burly body floated in the air, his eyes bulging, veins popping on his face, and his hands involuntarily gripping his own neck.

Qi An looked at Liu's father, who was clearly more terrified than before. Sure enough, the old man cared most about his only child.

"Everything you did to Liu Ye was just to buy women for your precious son so that your Liu family could continue its lineage."

Qi An tightened his grip on his hand from a distance: "Sorry, I think it's best to just get rid of this kind of beastly gene."

With a crisp "crack," Liu Shan snapped his own neck, his face contorted with extreme terror until his death.

When Liu's father saw his son's body fall to the ground, he went completely insane.

This was their only remaining lineage; the Liu family's ancestral worship had been completely extinguished.

He stared at Qi An with bloodshot eyes. If he had known this would happen, he should have strangled this jinx when he was born.

"You bitch, I'll fight you to the death."

Liu's father grabbed a sickle and slashed at Qi An, his posture suggesting he wanted to die with him.

Anyway, he's lost his son, and he's too old to have any more children. He has no hope for the future, so he's determined to take his enemies down with him before he dies.

But he forgot that his daughter, Liu Ye, was already dead.

Before him stood a vengeful spirit, determined to avenge any wrong done to him!

Father Liu watched helplessly as the sickle changed direction, from outward to inward, and slashed down towards his own face.

One, two, three...

After being chopped more than a dozen times, Liu's father's head was smashed open like a rotten watermelon, a bloody mess.

With the final blow, half of his head was severed, and Liu's father finally collapsed to the ground, his only remaining eye still wide open in defiance.

When Liu's mother woke up, the first thing she saw was this eye. After seeing the terrible state of her son and husband, Liu's mother was stunned.

A moment later, she chuckled, her eyes unfocused, her mouth and eyes crooked.

This is truly insane.

Qi An had no intention of letting her go. She had no choice in the matter, but who says that letting her go is not a sin?

As a mother and a woman, how could she possibly treat Liu Ye as her daughter?

She was an accomplice too!

She's gone mad right now and won't live much longer, so let it be.

At this point, all the enemies who directly caused Liu Ye's death have gone to hell.

Ata sighed, "I hope she can be reborn into a better family in her next life and not run into these scumbags again."

They only realized what was happening when the little girl gave them fragments of her soul.

If one's soul is incomplete, there's a high probability they won't be reborn into a good family.

The missing fragments will take time to be restored to their original state.

Before that, I expect to suffer a bit.

Qi An didn't respond to Ata's words. In her world, there was no such thing as pity or sympathy; it was all about the survival of the fittest.

She helped Liu Ye avenge herself, but she had to pay the price.

There are so many pitiful people out there, does she expect to pity them all?

Then, her soul and body couldn't recover, and she was directly crushed to death by the Heavenly Dao.

Who will pity her then?

As dawn broke, some people saw that the Liu family's gate was wide open but there was no movement. Curious, they went inside to take a look and were almost scared to death on the spot.

Moments later, the whole village knew that the Liu family father and son had been killed by a vengeful ghost.

Qi An stood above the village, looking down at everything, but no one could see her.

She had already separated from Liu Ye's body and was given a proper burial.

She floated in mid-air and saw all the evils committed by the village.

The newly bought girl was naked, covered in wounds, and chained to a pigsty.

The fierce-looking cripple cursed and threw down his whip, groped the girl a few times, and then left.

The wrinkled old woman "kindly" advised, "Just go with him. It doesn't matter who you live with. As long as you give birth to a son, he will treat you well."

The girl glared fiercely at the old woman in front of her and spat a mouthful of bloody saliva onto her face.

The old woman, abandoning her previous earnest advice, instantly revealed her true nature, picking up a whip and lashing it at the girl while cursing:

"You little bitch, I've poured all my savings into you. If you don't give me a grandson, you're not leaving this pigsty."

The girl looked utterly desperate.

Will she ever see her parents again?

Should I just die like this?

But... I'm so unwilling to accept this...

She studied hard for more than ten years, and finally she could be filial to her parents, but she was abducted to this hell on earth.

Her poor parents only have her as their child. What will happen to them if she dies?

She had never believed in ghosts or gods before, but at this moment she couldn't help but pray in her heart.

Help me... Someone please help me...

A few houses away, a heavily pregnant woman knelt at the feet of a tall, dark-skinned man, pleading:

"Please, please stop hitting her. If you keep hitting her, she'll die. I won't run away anymore, please..."

The three- or four-year-old girl was skin and bones, curled up into a tiny ball, beaten to the point of near death, unable to even cry.

The man looked at the woman with a bruised and swollen face and said in a sinister tone, "You filthy bitch, if it weren't for the fact that you're pregnant, I would have beaten you to death today."

"Damn it, you've already had a child and you're still not behaving yourself. Let me tell you this: if you dare to run away again, I'll beat this worthless thing you gave birth to to death."

The woman crawled over and hugged the girl, her face ashen, and murmured:

"I won't run anymore, I'll never run again, I'll listen to you in everything from now on."

The man spat and said, "You'd better give me a son this time. If you give birth to another worthless child, I'll just throw him into the mountains to feed the wolves."

The woman held the little girl; her young face had eyes that showed absolutely no life.

She resigned herself to her fate.
