Late at night, at the Prime Minister's residence.
The courtyard where Yun Jinxiu lived was brightly lit with candles, and her trusted servants, though injured, stood guard vigilantly outside the house.
Inside the room, Yun Zhihong sat awkwardly in his wheelchair.
He had his arm in a sling, his fingers wrapped up, and his face covered in clumps of ointment, looking both disheveled and comical.
Next to him was Yun Jincheng, who was also in a wheelchair. Both of his lower legs were fixed in splints, wrapped up like rice dumplings.
Sitting on the chaise longue were Han and her daughter, both with pale faces and thick bandages wrapped around their foreheads, looking like they were in mourning.
The family of four, all injured, held a meeting late at night, naturally to discuss how to kill Qi An, the culprit.
When Han recalled the humiliation she had suffered during the day, she cried her heart out.
"Master, you must stand up for us, mother and son! Letting two lowly maids treat us like this has made our mansion a laughingstock in the entire capital."
"Yes, Father, you must kill that bitch! How dare she do this to me and Mother... Waaah..."
Yun Jinxiu hugged her arms tightly, recalling the shame and indignation of being stripped naked and shown to the public, and cried with tears streaming down her face.
She considered herself a noblewoman, no less than a princess, but she never expected that before she was even married, dozens of men would see her naked.
They were just a group of guards and servants.
In her eyes, these people weren't even worthy of carrying her shoes.
Yun Zhihong also remembered the two naked bodies, and his expression became somewhat unnatural.
With a loud "bang," Yun Jincheng slammed his fist against the side of the wheelchair, drawing the attention of all three of them.
His face was sinister, and the venom in his words was almost overflowing.
"That damned bitch, she broke my legs and humiliated my mother and Jinxiu like that. I will break her limbs and slash her face."
Then throw her into the lowest brothel, where a thousand men will ride her and ten thousand will sleep with her.
"And that old vile woman Cai Die, I can't quell my hatred without killing them."
"That's right."
The mother and daughter nodded in agreement, then looked at Yun Zhihong together.
Yun Zhihong habitually shirks responsibility first.
"Hmph, if it weren't for your terrible idea of knocking her out and sending her to a man's bed, she wouldn't be in this crazy state now."
Han was extremely resentful, thinking, "But you agreed anyway, so I just put up with it."
Having been married for almost twenty years, she knew better than anyone the coldness and selfishness in this man's bones, and how adept he was at shirking responsibility.
"Now that things have come to this, let's deal with that wretched maid first. The Prime Minister's residence has become her personal fiefdom, and you, the Prime Minister, are now just a figurehead."
Sure enough, when his own interests were involved, Yun Zhihong's face immediately turned ugly.
"Don't worry, that brat won't be arrogant for long. I will show her who's in charge of the Prime Minister's mansion."
Yun Zhihong had no intention of torturing Yunyan; he only wanted to kill her cleanly and decisively to eliminate any future trouble.
The night grew deeper.
Four dark figures darted through the night, heading straight for the Butterfly Courtyard.
The shadowy figure moved swiftly, its footsteps almost silent, easily evading the guards and sneaking into the courtyard.
At the signal of the leader in black, the four split into two groups and silently headed toward their respective targets.
They were assassins kept by the Prime Minister's mansion, and they only obeyed Yun Zhihong's orders.
When the leader of the assassins received the mission, he was initially surprised.
Let's not even talk about Cai Die. Yun Yan is, after all, the master's own daughter. Even tigers don't eat their cubs. The Prime Minister is truly ruthless.
Then came the dismissive attitude: why use a sledgehammer to crack a nut?
Even knowing that Miss Yunyan had some skills, he guessed that they were just all show and no substance.
How powerful can a fifteen-year-old girl be without any guidance? At most, she can only fight those masters who are used to being waited on.
These well-trained assassins could easily kill two weak women.
The room was quiet. The two assassins opened the door effortlessly, and then...
They saw a woman sitting cross-legged on the edge of the bed with her eyes closed, seemingly meditating.
Miss Yunyan was one of their targets on this trip.
The leader tilted his head in a gesture, and one of the assassins rushed forward, raising his dagger, ready to finish her off quickly.
However, the dagger, after being slashed out, strangely stopped in front of her neck, unable to go any further.
The assassin was shocked. He mobilized all his internal energy but could not move. Cold sweat instantly broke out on his back.
Suddenly, the woman opened her closed eyes abruptly, and her soft voice rang in the assassin's ear, like the whisper of death itself.
"Why are you so late? I was so busy waiting that I fell asleep."
As soon as she finished speaking, she lightly raised her hand and snapped the assassin's neck with lightning speed.
The dagger clattered to the ground.
The other leader of the assassins turned tail and fled the moment Qi An spoke, his intuition honed by years of life-or-death experiences telling him...
We were careless. This is no weak woman; she's a killing machine.
With only a step away from the door, the leader slammed on the brakes, staring in horror at the woman who had appeared out of nowhere.
He was certain that she appeared out of thin air; even the most advanced movement techniques couldn't achieve that.
But just a second ago she was sitting on the edge of the bed with a corpse in her hand.
The leader was quite fast, turning and flying towards the side window, but... the next second it came to an abrupt stop.
Because Qi An instantly reappeared at the window, looking at him with a mocking expression.
Despair surged through him instantly; the leader knew that today was his death day.
"Why are you running? Didn't you come here to kill me? Since you're already here, stay."
Qi An flashed and grabbed the leader by the neck. With a twist of his fingers, the leader's head slumped to one side and fell silent.
"Sister An'an, I've got my things sorted out too."
As Fu Gui spoke, he walked in, carrying a corpse of a dead soldier in each hand, and threw it on the ground.
The Butterfly Courtyard remained quiet. The colorful butterfly slept soundly, and no one else heard a sound.
The mission participant in the sea of consciousness disapprovedly, saying, "How...how could you kill people? Now look what's happened, they definitely won't let this go."
"In my opinion, we should go directly to Yuan Bai. Once we're inside the Prince's mansion, they won't dare to make a move... Ah..."
The person on the mission screamed in fright, trembling and hugging himself tightly, no longer daring to utter a word.
Because Qi An snapped his fingers, four unseeing heads were lined up and hung in the air.
With another flick of his finger, the blue flame landed on the corpse, instantly incinerating it into nothingness.
She instructed Fugui, "It is impolite not to reciprocate; send them back to them."
"Okay."
Fu Gui waved his hand, put away his head, and instantly disappeared from the spot.
"You...you're so cruel." The mission taker's voice trembled uncontrollably.
"Cruel? The bastards you did were even crueler to Yunyan. I've never seen a pure-blooded idiot like you before."
Qi An sneered: "Let me tell you, every person who prays for revenge only wants to do one thing, and that is to repay kindness with kindness and blood with blood."
"You better watch out for me. If you dare to say any more of those brain-dead idiots, I'll twist your head off and help you drain the water."
The tasker was so frightened that water welled up in his eyes, and he dared not utter another word.
In Yun Jinxiu's small courtyard, the family of four sat waiting for news of Yunyan and her daughter's deaths.
The Butterfly Courtyard was quiet; the assassin had vanished and never returned. The four of them gradually went from excitement to unease.
Time passed slowly, and somehow the four of them fell asleep.
As dawn broke, a piercing scream echoed through the courtyard, followed by a chorus of screams.
The horrifying scene inside the room terrified the maids who went in to check; they rolled their eyes and fainted.
All that could be seen were Yun Zhihong, Han Shi, Yun Jinxiu, and Yun Jincheng, each holding a head with its eyes open in their arms.
